New York Color "Preppy Pink"
Hi guys! I hope everyone is enjoying Summer like I am! I love warm weather and I am definitely a fan or sunshine! Now that Summer is in full swing now I am so excited to pull out super bright colored nail polish! I decided to try a new to me brand called New York Color (or NYC for short). I found it at my local Wal-Mart for 93 cents (US) a bottle! I love a great priced nail polish but that being said price point often signifies the quality of the polish so I wasn't holding my breath, but I willing to try just about any brand of nail polish once! (And more times if it is good!)
So for my first NYC nail polish I decided to try out a hot pink called "Preppy Pink." It is just your basic cream hot pink nail polish. It isn't anything unique but I always love a hot pink! Formula wise "Preppy Pink" is okay. It isn't the runniest nail polish I have used but it isn't the best formula either. It goes on a bit runny but with a little effort was easy enough to control. However I was pleased that NYC "Preppy Pink" had no streaking at all! As for chipping I was very impressed! I saw no chipping until day 4, which for a 93 cent bottle of nail polish is practically a miracle! I am so super impressed with New York Color nail polish!
Overall New York Color "Preppy Pink" is a fantastic nail polish! It went on well, and lasted for four days before chipping! I definitely plan on wear "Preppy Pink" again and I plan on buying more bottle of New York Color nail polish!
Thanks for reading my blog! :)
love this color, but it didn't work out so well for me. took HOURS to properly dry
ReplyDeleteWow sorry it didn't work well for you! Did you use a quick drying top coat? I use Orly "Sec'N'Dry" and after about 10 or 15 minutes my nails are usually dry.
