Mani x Me August 2020 Box

Hey all and happy Thursday!  Today's post is a throwback of Maniology's Mani x Me August 2020 subscription box.  August 2020's theme is picnics - which is just adorable!  Each box includes two stamping polishes, two stamping plates and a surprise nail item.  Here are this month's nail polishes:

"Watermelon" and "Rind"

The polish went with the theme so well and is absolutely the perfect dusty pink and green!  This month's first stamping plate is MXM037.  This plate has all sorts of picnic blanket patterns as well as ants.  Look at  this adorable plate:

The second plate was MXM038 which has all sorts of Summery and picnic related items.  (I love the bicycle in the bottom right corner!)  Look how cute:

This month's surprise nail item was a glass cuticle cleaner, which thrilled me because I have been wanting one for a while!

Overall I am happy as always with Maniology's Mani x Me subscription box.  I always enjoy receiving these packages each month and look forward to trying out all the great products!

Cupcake Polish "Bluebonnet"

Hi all and happy Wednesday!  Who else is getting excited for Christmas?  Today's nail polish is Cupcake Polish "Bluebonnet" which I purchased from the Polish Pick-Up.  Here's how this stunning polish looks in the bottle:

"Bluebonnet" is a purple and blue color shift polish with loads of glitter in it!  The formula of this nail polish is really nice - it is slightly on the watery side but I applied "Bluebonnet" in thin coats and it looks amazing on my nails!  After two thin coats "Bluebonnet" was not quite opaque, but after the third coat is was perfect!  Here's how "Bluebonnet" looks up close - do you see that gorgeous color shift??

Overall Cupcake Polish's "Bluebonnet" is absolutely stunning and makes a great Summer polish.  I will definitely be keeping this gorgeous color in my collection for ages!

Mani x Me July 2020 Box

 Hi guys and happy Tuesday!  Today's nail polish is actually a throwback to Maniology's July 2020's Mani X Me subscription box.  This is a monthly box that comes directly to my house and it includes two stamping polishes, two stamping plates and a surprise nail art item.  July 2020's theme was unicorns!  Here are the nail polishes:

"Unicorn Horn" and "Buttercup"

The first stamping plate in this month's box is MXM035 which is covered in a variety of unicorns and stars!  It is literally so cute - just look:

The second stamping plate is MXM036 which features rainbows and butterflies!  This plate makes me so happy!

For this month's surprise nail art item it is a Pixie Dust glitter that can be used on stamping plates.  It is a gorgeous fuchsia color that is so shimmery and happy.

Overall I am thrilled - like always, by Maniology's Mani x Me subscription box.  Every month I love the surprise or receiving a mystery gift and have never received a double in almost two years!  I plan to keep my subscription box for years to come!

Ciate "Mistress"

Hi all and happy Monday!  With only a few days left before Christmas I couldn't resist pulling out this cheerful red!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Ciate's "Mistress."  Here's how this beauty looks in the bottle:

"Mistress" is such a pretty red creme - it is the perfect year round red!  This nail polish may take the the prize for favorite red polish of all time!  It is also great for both formal and casual events.  The formula of "Mistress" was perfect - it applied easily to my nails and was opaque after a single coat.  Here's how "Mistress" looks up close on my nails:

Overall I am in love with Ciate's "Mistress."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish is fantastic!  I plan to wear this polish a lot more often - it also brightens up my day and brings me joy!

Lisa Lacquer "Meet Me By The Pool"

 

Hi everyone and happy Sunday!  It's been a while since I posted, but I am back and ready to bring you more nail polish in 2022!  Today's nail polish is Lisa Lacquer's "Meet Me By The Pool."  Lisa Lacquer is a really great indie brand - every polish I have tried from this brand has been awesome!  Here's how "Meet Me By The Pool" looks in the bottle:

"Meet Me By The Pool" is a stunning bright blue creme.  The formula of this polish is perfect and it applied easily to my nail.  After two coats, this gorgeous polish was completely opaque and had no visible streaks.  "Meet Me By The Pool" is a such a perfect color for Summertime!  Here's how "Meet Met By The Pool" looked on my nail:

Overall I am really happy with Lisa Lacquer's "Meet Me By The Pool."  Everything about this nail polish is great and I cannot wait to wear it a lot more often!

OPI "Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k"

Hello everyone and happy Sunday!  Today's nail polish is OPI's "Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k" which is a beautiful blue with shimmer from OPI's Scotland collection.  Here's how this nail polish looks in the bottle:

"Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k" is a stunning turquoise blue with gold and green shimmer.  The formula of this polish a slightly watery but it still applied well to my nails.  After three coats "Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k" was fully opaque and streak free.  Here's how the shimmer in "Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k" looks up close:

Overall I am really happy with OPI's "Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k."  This color is so pretty and reminders me of the ocean glittering in the sunshine.  (Maybe one day soon I'll get to the beach again!)

Moon Shine Mani "The Department Of Mysteries"

Hey guys and happy Saturday!  It is another hot Summer day here in the south so I wanted to cool off with some blue nails.  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Moon Shine Mani's "The Department of Mysteries" from their Harry Potter collection.  Look how beautiful this polish looks in the bottle:

"The Department of Mysteries" is a gorgeous blue shimmer with loads of multiple-sized glitter!  It is absolutely stunning and the formula is one of the best I've ever seen.  This nail polish was fully opaque and streak free after only a single coat - which is an absolute feat.  The glitter spreads very evenly across the nail without any extra effort, which I love!  Look at the glittery goodness up close:

Overall I am in love with Moon Shine Mani's "The Department of Mysteries."  Everything, and I mean everything, about this nail polish is perfect!  This is definitely in my top 5 favorite nail polishes of all time and I cannot wait to wear it again soon!

Essie "Mooning"

 

Hey all and happy Friday!  Welcome to the weekend!  Today's nail polish is Essie's "Mooning" which is such a great color for Autumn. (Anyone else looking forward to the cooler weather?)  Here's how this lovely cool color looks like in the bottle:

"Mooning" is a lovely cool grey creme.  The formula of this nail polish is wonderful and it applied to my nails with ease!  After two coats "Mooning" was completely opaque and streak free.  "Mooning" looks so lovely on my nails and really can be a year round polish.  Here's how "Mooning" looks up close:

Overall I am in love with Essie's Mooning."  I cannot wait to wear this nail polish all the time!  It looks so great with my skin complexion and is a great color to transition into Autumn soon.

Live Love Polish "Another Round"

 

Hi all and happy happy Thursday!  We've nearly made it to the weekend again - hooray!  So to celebrate today's nail polish is Live Love Polish "Another Round."  Here's how this polish looks in the bottle:

"Another Round" is a gorgeous royal blue with royal blue and silver glitter.  The formula of this nail polish is fabulous and it applied with ease!  After two coats "Another Round" was entirely opaque and streak free - and it looked great on my nails!  Look at this gorgeous glitter up close:

Overall I am in love with Live Love Polish's "Another Round."  Everything about this polish is perfect and it may be my go-to this Summer!

China Glaze "Sunday Funday"

Hey all and happy happy Wednesday!  (Halfway to the weekend!)  Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Sunday Funday."  Who else could use a nice relaxing Sunday Funday this weekend?  Here's how this pretty looks in the bottle:

"Sunday Funday" is a lovely bright blue creme - this color is fabulous for Summertime!  The formula of this nail polish was perfect and applied with ease.  After two coats, "Sunday Funday" was entirely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  Here's how this happy blue looks on my nails:

Overall I am thrilled by China Glaze's "Sunday Funday."  This color is stunning and I cannot wait until Summertime as I think this will be my go-to nail polish!

OPI "You Had Me At Merlot"

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday!  Today's nail polish is OPI's "You Had Me At Merlot" which is such an adorable name!  Here's how this polish looks in the bottle:

"You Had Me At Merlot" is a pretty fuchsia creme.  The formula of "You Had Me At Merlot" is fantastic and applied with ease to my nails!  This nail polish was opaque after only one coat, however I applied two for photos.  Here's how "You Had Me At Merlot" looks up close:

Overall I am in love with OPI's "You Had Me At Merlot."  Everything about this nail polish is fabulous and it is a great year-round color!

Mani x Me June 2020 Box

Hello everyone and happy Monday!  Today's post features Maniology's Mani x Me subscription box for June 2020 - only a little late.  :)  Each box contains two stamping nail polished, two stamping plates and a surprise nail art item.  Here's this month's nail polishes:

"Shark Bait" and "Unicorn Top Coat"

The first plate this month is MXM 033 which features all sorts of cute beach themed designs.  Look how cute this plate is:

The second plate this month is MXM034 which has everything beach related - including FLAMINGOS!  (I love flamingos so this may be my all time favorite plate!)  Just look at this beauty:

This month's surprise item is a cute little blue and purple two tone pouch.  I love this little back and will use it for more than just nail polish!

Overall I am in love with this month's subscription box from Maniology!  It is the perfect box for Summer  - even if this is a weird Summer.  I can't wait to try out the designs on these stamping plates - especially the flamingos!

Maniology "Corpse Flower"

Hi guys so sorry for being MIA, I've had a fair amount of health issues in 2021, but I am doing well and hope to get back to posting regularly!  Today's nail polish is Maniology's "Corpse Flower" which I received in one of their Mani x Me boxes.  "Corpse Flower" is a stamping polish, which can also double as a stand alone polish - here's how it looks in the bottle:

"Corpse Flower" is a gorgeous hot pink creme - it is almost a neon!  The formula of this polish is slightly thick, which is normal for a stamping polish, but it applied perfectly to my nails.  After two coats "Corpse Flower" was completely opaque and only had one or two minor streaks.  Here's how this nail polish looks up close:

Overall I am really pleased with Maniology's "Corpse Flower."  Everything about this nail polish is great and I absolutely love the color!  I cannot wait to wear this polish again soon!

Ciate "Chalet Chic"

Hi guys and happy Thursday!  Today's nail polish is actually loose glitter!  (Hooray for a sparkle of happiness!)  So without further ado here is Ciate's "Chalet Chic" which came as a mini bottle in one of their annual advent calendars.  Here's how the gorgeous glitter looks in the bottle:

"Chalet Chic" is a loose white and solver iridescent glitter.  It applied very easily to my nail - I used Bundle Monster's "Rocko Wear" as a base color then used a clear coat to hold to apply the glitter too. This look turned out nicely and is a fun accent nail for the holiday season.  Here's how "Chalet Chic" looked in the bottle:

Overall I like Ciate's "Chalet Chic."  It is a super gorgeous glitter, but I definitely wouldn't wear it all the time - it is more of special occasion or nail art look for me.  That being said I will be keeping "Chalet Chic" in my collection and will use it up with some fun nails!

Maniology "Frozen"

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!  (Who else is already ready for the weekend again?)  Today's nail polish is Maniology's "Frozen" which came as part of one of their Mani x Me subscription boxes.  Here's how "Frozen" looks in the bottle:

"Frozen" is not shockingly a white polish with iridescent shimmer - it essentially looks like snow in the sunshine!  The formula of "Frozen" is great and it applied well to my nails.  After two coats this nail polish was fully opaque and streak free.  Here's how this pretty shimmer looks up close:

Overall I am thrilled with Maniology's "Frozen."  This polish looks amazing on my nails and bonus - it is a stamping polish!  Which means I cannot wait to test "Frozen" out with some stamping plates!
