Formula X for Sephora "Arctic"
Hi everyone! Today's nail polish is Formula X for Sephora's "Arctic" which is a cool one-night wear foil nail polish. This comes in a box as a set and provides you with everything you need to complete the look. The set looks like this:
The one-night wear foil is a unique two step polish. The first step is to apply the "Nail Foil Base Coat" and allow it to dry. After that you need to shake to bottle of "Arctic" well and then apply it to each nail. You are only supposed to apply one coat and the packaging suggests not using a top coat to allow the metallic foil to really be shown off. As described I was able to wear this nail polish for one evening and then it began to flake off, but it looked really neat on my nails when I wore it!
Overall I am pleased with Formula X for Sephora's "Arctic." This foil look is unique and different and I will definitely wear it again soon!

Essie "Hubby For Dessert"
Hi everyone and happy Wednesday! Wedding season is upon us so I thought I would pull out a sweet nail polish that can be worn all Summer to a variety of weddings. So without further ado, today's nail polish is Essie's "Hubby For Dessert."
"Hubby For Dessert" is a gorgeous pastel lilac color that almost looks like a light baby pink on the nail. Formula wise this nail polish is slightly watery but it was still very easy to apply. However it did take three coats of polish for "Hubby For Dessert" to be opaque and streak free. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Hubby For Dessert" for about four days before there were some minor tip chips.
Overall I am very pleased with Essie's "Hubby For Dessert." Everything about this nail polish is great and I plan on wearing it all Summer long!

Sinful Colors "Purple Diamond"
Hi all! I hope everyone is enjoying Summer! (I know I am because it is my favorite season of the year!) Today's nail polish is Sinful Colors "Purple Diamond" which my Mom got for me at the beach a year or so ago.
"Purple Diamond" is a lovely lavender colored, micro-glitter polish. Formula wise this nail polish was slightly on the watery side, but just barely and it was still easy to apply. After two coats of polish, "Purple Diamond" was almost opaque but not quite. But the nail polish was completely streak free, which is always nice! As for chipping I was able to wear this nail polish for about two days before it started to chip off.
Since "Purple Diamond" was not completely opaque, I decided to test it out over a cremé polish. The base polish I picked is a lovely blurple polish by OPI called "Lost My Bikini in Molokini." This combination turned out to be really pretty! It was sparkly and girly and is perfect for Summertime!
If you want to know more about OPI's "Lost My Bikini in Molokini" see my post from earlier this year!
Overall I like Sinful Colors "Purple Diamond." I do wish I could have work this nail polish longer before it started to chip, but otherwise it's a nice polish. I will probably wear this nail polish again soon!

Nails INC "Daisy Lane"
Hi guys and happy Wednesday! And since it is Wednesday I decided to celebrate with Mean Girls because "on Wednesday's we wear pink!" So without further ado, today's nail polish is Nails INC's "Daisy Lane."
"Daisy Lane" is a cute pink, white and red chunky glitter in a clear base. The polish has micro-glitter pieces and flower shaped glitter. Formula wise "Daisy Lane" was surprisingly easy to apply! I was able to easily get the micro-glitter pieces evenly on my nail and then use a q-tip to help place the flowers on my nails. However, like many glitter nail polishes they aren't mean to be worn alone so I decided to try it out over a base polish. Here's how it turned out:
The nail polish I decided to try "Daisy Lane" out with is China Glaze's "Mediterranean Charm" which is a gorgeous hot pink/red polish. This combination turned out fantastically well and would work perfectly for Valentine's Day!
Overall I am very pleased with Nails INC's "Daisy Lane." Everything about this nail polish is great and it is one of the best glitter polishes I have tried in a long time. I will definitely be wearing this nail polish again soon!
Also if you want to know more about China Glaze's "Mediterranean Charm" check out my post from earlier this week here.
