Ciaté "Cookies & Creme"
Hi all! Who else is ready for the weekend? Today's nail polish is Ciaté's "Cookies & Creme" which was part of Ciaté's annual advent calendar. "Cookies & Creme" came in the 2015 Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. The set looks like this:
"Cookies & Creme" is a lovely light beige, nude colored polish that is perfect for any classy event. Formula wise this polish was nice and applied well. After two coats, "Cookies & Creme" was not opaque and had some noticeable streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Cookies & Creme" for only about a day because it looked so terrible on my nails that I couldn't stand wearing it any longer.
Overall I am very disappointed by Ciaté's "Cookies & Creme." Everything from it looking bad on my nails to its short wear time was sad. I will probably not wear this nail polish again anytime soon.

Sinful Colors "Daddy's Girl"
Hi everyone! I hope y'all are having a good week so far! In North Carolina the weather has been nice the past few days and Spring has officially sprung! (Yay for warmer weather!) Today's nail polish is Sinful Colors "Daddy's Girl."
"Daddy's Girl" is a very pretty dark purple polish with purple glitter. Formula wise this polish was nice and easy to apply. After two coats, "Daddy's Girl" was mostly opaque but had a few streak marks where you could see through to my nails. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Daddy's Girl" for three days before it began to flake off.
Overall Sinful Colors "Daddy's Girl" is an okay polish. I tried worse and I've had a lot better. I will probably give this nail polish another try bu not until I've tried out some others in my collection.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Blizzard Blue"
Hi everyone! We've survived another Monday and the week can only get better from here! Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Blizzard Blue."
"Blizzard Blue" is a light teal blue nail polish that is very shimmery. Formula wise this nail polish was watery and took some patience to apply. After two coats of polish, "Blizzard Blue" was still see-through and not at all opaque. However there were no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Blizzard Blue" for only two days because it chipped off very quickly.
Overall I am disappointed in Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Blizzard Blue." The color looks nice in the bottle but it doesn't apply well on the nails and would probably work better as a top coat than a lone polish.

China Glaze "Let's Chalk About It"
Hi guys! I went out of town for the weekend and once again had no internet. But I am back now and posting will resume as scheduled! So without further ado, today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Let's Chalk About It" which came as part of a mini set. The set is called Roommates and looks like this:
"Let's Chalk About It" is a pretty pastel pink colored polish that is really dainty and girly. Formula wise this polish was great and very easy to apply. After two coats, "Let's Chalk About It" was entirely opaque and streak free, which is fantastic for a pastel! In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Let's Chalk About It" for six days before my nails began to grow out and needed to be repainted.
Overall I am very impressed by China Glaze's "Let's Chalk About It." Everything about this nail polish is perfect and great for Springtime! I can hardly wait to wear this nail polish again soon!

Nails INC "Sugar House Lane"
Hi everyone! I hope everyone is having a lovely week! Today's nail polish is Nails INC's "Sugar House Lane." This polish is part of Nails INC's Special Effects line.
"Sugar House Lane" is a fun beige with silver and black micro-glitter mixed in. Formula wise this polish was pretty good and went on well. After two coats, "Sugar House Lane" was not completely opaque and looked patchy in places. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Sugar House Lane" for two days before the glitter began to catch on everything and chip the polish off.
Overall I have mixed feelings about Nails INC's "Sugar House Lane." Its a fun unique color and the application is nice but the final look left a lot to be desired. I probably won't rush to wear this nail polish again anytime soon.

Essie "Clambake"
Hi everyone! I hope you all survived Monday and that it wasn't too terrible! Also happy first day of Spring! Who else is ready for the warmer weather? Today's nail polish is Essie's "Clambake."
"Clambake" is a gorgeous orange colored nail polish. Formula wise this polish was fantastic and very easy to apply. After two coats, "Clambake" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Clambake" for six full days before there were a few tip chips.
If you want to see how Essie's "Clambake" compares to a similar polish check out my post from a few years back here.
Overall I am very pleased with Essie's "Clambake." Everything about this nail polish is lovely and I will definitely wear it again soon!

OPI "Pompeii Purple"
Hi all and happy Sunday. I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend. (It's hard to believe how quickly it flies by!) Today's nail polish is OPI's "Pompeii Purple."
"Pompeii Purple" is a very pretty fuchsia polish with a lot of shimmer. Formula was this nail polish was perfect and very easy to apply. After two coats, "Pompeii Purple" was entirely opaque and streak free. In fact this polish was opaque after only one coat which is always great! As for chipping, I was able to wear "Pompeii Purple" for seven full days before I noticed the tiniest chip marks
Overall I am very pleased with OPI's "Pompeii Purple." Everything about this nail polish is perfect and I can hardly wait to wear it again! Also I tried to find a #tbt of my trip to Italy in 2006 but I couldn't find any pictures. (Life before smart phones!) Italy is a gorgeous country and Pompeii was beautifully tragic.

Nail Plate: BM-S250 by Bundle Monster
Hi everyone and happy Friday! We finally made it to the weekend again! Today's extra special post is to show off one of Bundle Monster's stamping plates, BM-S250, which is awesomely Egyptian themed! I was so excited to see this plate because I love Egyptian history and figured it would be the perfect as my first stamping plate!
To create this look I used Sally Hansen Salon perfect Manicure's "Coat Of Arms" as the base and then used Bundle Monster's stamping polish in "Straight Up Black."
From left to right: Bundle Monster "Straight Up Black", Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure "Coat Of Arms" and Bundle Monster "Poli-Peel."
To get King Tut's face on my ring finger I stamped on to my Lotus mat to create a decal. (The stamper I used is a no-name one I purchased off of Amazon, which works well for a novice but there are definitely better stampers out there for the more experienced stampers.)
This technique worked well until I placed it crooked on my nails. (But it was my first time trying this technique so I assume I'll get better with practice.) Here's how it looked when I placed on on my nails and added the "Poli-Peel Cuticle Blocker."
For the other three nails I first applied Bundle Monster's "Poli-Peel Cuticle Blocker" around the edge of my nails and stamped directly on to my nails. I found this technique worked better for myself, however I am still a novice and have a lot of work to do before I am a master.
Overall I am very pleased by Bundle Monster's stamping plate, polish and poli-peel. I definitely plan on trying out other plates and polishes from Bundle Monster. Also Bundle Monster is very affordable and ships quickly, which is fantastic!

Nocibé "Lucky Green"
Hi everyone! We've nearly made it to the weekend and tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day! (As someone who is half Irish it is always nice to celebrate!) Today's nail polish is Nocibé's "Lucky Green."
"Lucky Green" is a very pretty green and silver chunky glitter polish that features star-shaped glitter. Formula wise this polish was slightly watery and the glitter didn't easily come out of the bottle. After a few attempts I was able to work some glitter chunks out of the bottle and on to my nail using tweezers. Like many glitter nail polishes "Lucky Green" isn't necessarily meant to be worn alone so I decided to test it out over a few polishes.
The first polish I decided to test out with "Lucky Green" was OPI's "Pedal Faster Suzi" which is a lavender colored polish. This combination was cute and very springy.
The second polish I decided to try out with "Lucky Green" was Sinful Colors "Mint 2B Cool." This combination was pretty and very mermaid-like!
Overall I really like Nocibé's "Lucky Green." I love how this polish looked on my nails and with some patience and a pair of tweezers I was able to get the star-shaped glitter out of the bottle. I will wear this nail polish again soon!
If you want to know more about OPI's "Pedal Faster Suzi" or Sinful Colors "Mint2BCool" check out my posts from earlier this year!

Maybelline "Shocking SEAS"
Hi all and happy Wednesday! We're halfway through the week and the March Madness tournament gets going tomorrow! (That's a basketball tournament is you aren't a sport's fan.) Today's nail polish is Maybelline's "Shocking SEAS."
"Shocking SEAS" is a lovely dark teal colored polish. Formula wise, "Shocking SEAS" was the tiniest bit watery but still fairly easy to apply. After two coats, the polish was entirely opaque and had no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Shocking SEAS" for five days before there were a few tip chips. However "Shocking SEAS" did leave some staining on my nails, which was disappointing.
Overall I like Maybelline's "Shocking SEAS." The color, formula and wearability are great but I was definitely not a fan of how stained my nails were when I removed this polish! That being said, I would be willing to wear this nail polish again but with a thicker base coat to try and prevent staining.

Fresh Paint "Honey Dew"
Hi guys and happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is Fresh Paint's "Honey Dew." Fresh Paint is a brand of polish that is sold at the American store 5 Below, where everything cost $5 (USD) or less.
"Honey Dew" is a gorgeous neon lime green polish that is perfect for Summer! It's very bright and looks great in the sunshine! Formula wise this polish was a tiny bit thick but still easy enough to apply without much effort. After two coats, "Honey Dew" was completely opaque and had no visible streaks. As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three full days before I noticed a few small chips.
Overall I am very happy with Finger Paint's "Honey Dew." Everything about this nail polish is nice, especially its great color! I cannot wait to wear this color all Summer long!

Orly "Androgynie"
Hi all! I hope everyone had a nice weekend! Sorry for the lack of posts over the weekend. I went to my aunt's house in the mountains and there was no wi-fi and then a snow storm left me caught there until today! But now that I am back expect several extra posts this week! So without furhter ado, today's nail polish is Orly's "Androgynie."
"Androgynie" is a unique polish because it is a black crelly with chunky blue, yellow, and green glitter in it as well as gold and silver micro-glitter. Formula wise this polish was good and very easy to apply, though I did struggle to get the larger glitter pieces out of the bottle and on to my nail. After two coats, "Androgynie" was completely opaque and had no streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for five days before there were a few minor tip chips.
Overall I am very pleased with Orly's "Androgynie." Everything about this nail polish is great and I love how unique this polish is. I don't have any other nail polishes that look similar. I will definitely be wearing this nail polish again soon!

China Glaze "Sweet Hook"
Hi everyone! We've made it all the way through Wednesday now and thankfully it is almost the weekend again! Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Sweet Hook" which came as part of the Grape Expectations Ombre set. The set looks like this:
"Sweet Hook" is a lovely pastel purple colored polish. Formula wise "Sweet Hook" was good though it went on very streaky. After two coats the polish was surprising opaque since it looked horribly streaky after the first coat. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Sweet Hook" for three full days before it began to chip off in good sized chunks.
Overall China Glaze's "Sweet Hook" is fair. The formula an look was nice but it could have been better and it was disappointing that the polish chipped so quickly. I am willing to give this polish another go but in an ombre since that's what the kit "Sweet Hook" came in was meant to be used for.

March Dupe Post: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Coral Reef" and Maybelline "Coral Crush"
Hi everyone! I hope everyone survived Monday! (Who else is already ready for the weekend?) Today's blog is a comparison of Maybelline's "Coral Crush and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Coral Reef." Both polishes are a bright coral color that look nearly identical in the bottle.
Formula wise both polishes were good, although Maybelline's "Coral Crush" was easier to apply. Both polishes were opaque after two coats and I had a very difficult time distinguishing the polishes from each other while on my nails. When I took my nails into really strong natural light I was able to see that Maybelline's "Coral Crush" was just the tiniest bit darker but you really had to look.
If you want to know more about Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Coral Reef" or Maybelline's "Coral Crush" be sure to check out my earlier blogs!
Overall both Maybelline's Coral Crush" and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Coral Reef" are great and are perfect for Springtime. I believe they are essentially identical and you probably don't need both in your collection (unless you are a nail polish hoarder like myself.) Both polishes are drugstore brands and are very affordable.

Nicole by OPI "It's Not Me, It's Blue"
Hi everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend so far! I spent the day shopping and it was so nice to go to the mall! Today's nail polish is Nicole by OPI's "It's Not Me, It's Blue."
"It's Not Me, It's Blue" is a gorgeous dark blue with a lot of silver shimmer. Formula wise this polish was great and it applied very easily. After two coats of "It's Not Me, It's Blue" the polish was completely opaque and streak free. As for chipping, I was able to wear "It's Not Me, It's Blue" for five full days before there were a few tip chips.
Overall I am really happy with Nicole by OPI's "It's Not Me, It's Blue." Everything about this polish is perfect and I can't wait to wear it again and again!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Mauve Over"
Hi all and happy March! Spring is getting closer and closer to arriving here in the South and I could not be more pleased! (Except today where it was cold!) Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Mauve Over."
"Mauve Over" is a nice muted dusty pink polish that is nice for Springtime. Formula wise this polish was great and very easy to apply. After two coats, "Mauve Over" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Mauve Over" for three days before there were noticeable chips.
Overall I like Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Mauve Over." This polish is a pretty color and has a great formula. I definitely plan on wearing this nail polish again soon!
