Sinful Colors "Desert Dreams"
Hey everyone and happy Friday Eve! (Who else is living for the weekend?) Today's nail polish is Sinful Colors "Desert Dreams" which is part of the Vanessa Hudgens Festival collection from earlier this year.
"Desert Dreams" is a gorgeous golden shimmer that is very reminiscent of desert sand in the sun. The formula of this nail polish was really good and applied really well. After two coats "Desert Dreams" was fully opaque and only had a few streak marks from the shimmer. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Desert Dreams" for four days before there were a few tip chips.
Overall I am really happy with Sinful Colors "Desert Dreams." Everything about this nail polish is fun and happy! This golden shimmer will be wonderful to wear all Summer with a tan and pretend that I got to go to Coachella.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Garage Band"
Hi all and happy Wednesday! It's been pouring cats and dogs all day outside so I brought out some nails to go with the weather. Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Garage Band."
"Garage Band" is a gorgeous black polish with a ton of silver micro-glitter. The formula of "Garage Band" is absolutely stellar and it applied so easily. After only one coat the polish was entirely opaque and streak free. However I did add a second coat for the photo above and to test wear-time with. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Garage Band" for five days before I noticed any chips.
Overall I am in love with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Garage Band." There is nothing bad about this nail polish at all and black goes all year round and with just about every outfit imaginable! I will certainly be wearing this nail polish many more times!

Hard Candy "Gummy Green"
Hello everyone and happy Monday! Here in the United States we have a glorious three-day weekend in honor of Memorial Day. So without further ado, today's nail polish is Hard Candy's "Gummy Green" which I picked up at my local Wal-Mart.
"Gummy Green" is a unique mint green polish with black and silver micro glitter to create an eggshell look. The formula of this nail polish was so-so. The first coat was difficult to put on evenly and the glitter needed help to spread but the second coat covered like a cream. After two coats of "Gummy Green" the polish was entirely opaque and streak free. As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three days before there were tip chips.
Overall Hard Candy's "Gummy Green" was interesting. There are things I like and don't like about this nail polish but I would be willing to wear it again - though I am not sure I could get away with it as work appropriate.

Dupes: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Mauve Over" and Nicole by OPI "Dance Til Fawn"
Hey everyone and happy Sunday! Today's nail polish is actually a comparison post of two mauve colored polishes. Today's polishes that are going to be compared are Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Mauve Over" and Nicole by OPI's "Dance Til Fawn" (which is actually a mislabeled Sephora by OPI bottle.) Here are how they stack up next to each other in the bottles:
I applied two coats of both "Mauve Over" and "Dance Til Fawn" to my nails and as you can see they are definitely not dupes! Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Mauve Over" was a lot darker and more purpley than Nicole by OPI's "Dance Til Fawn." Given the differences I actually prefer to color of "Dance Til Fawn" better but it is a retired nail polish so you'll probably have an easier time finding "Mauve Over."
If you would like to know more about Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Mauve Over" or Nicole by OPI's "Dance Til Fawn" check out my posts from last year.
Overall I really like both Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Mauve Over" and Nicole by OPI's "Dance Til Fawn" and it was nice to see that they aren't dupes since that means I can keep both in my collection. Which one do you prefer?

Essie "Shop Til I Drop"
Hello all and happy Saturday! For everyone in the United States it is Memorial Day weekend, which is when we honor this who gave their lives serving their country. Today's nail polish is Essie's "Shop Til I Drop."
"Shop Til I Drop" is a really pretty pastel peach colored polish. Formula wise "Shop Til I Drop" was good and very easy to apply. After two coats "Shop Til I Drop" was not completely opaque because it turned out to be more of a jelly polish. However that being said, there were no streak marks so it looked nice. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three days before I noticed any chips.
Overall I am pleased by Essie's "Shop Til I Drop." It looks so Springy and dainty on my nails and is nice for the office as it is more subdued. I will definitely be wearing this nail polish again soon!

Julep "Courtney"
Hey all and happy Thursday! Today's nail polish is Julep's "Courtney" which was actually the 500th bottle of nail polish I added to my collection a couple of years back. My collection now houses around 900 bottles (not including the ones that have been donated or dried out.)
"Courtney" is a really pretty Spring green color that always makes me happy! Formula wise this nail polish was fairly good though it leaned slightly to the thicker side. After two coats "Courtney" was fully opaque and had only one visible streak mark. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Courtney" for four days before there were some small tip chip.
Overall I really like Julep's "Courtney." The color is so lovely, it wore well and it looked nice on my nails. You'll definitely see me rock this nail polish again soon!

Zoya "Sawyer"
Hi everyone and happy Wednesday! It has been a long week so here's a bright fun nail polish to make the week better! So without further ado, today's nail polish is Zoya's "Sawyer."
"Sawyer" is a bright creamsicle orange that is perfect for the Spring and Summer! The formula of this nail polish was very thick and goopy. It was difficult to apply and the brush either had no polish on it or it had so much polish it flooded off my nails and onto my skin. As for chipping "Sawyer" didn't last more than a day.
Overall I am really disappointed in Zoya's "Sawyer." I usually have really good luck with Zoya polishes but this one let me down - aside from the color the rest was sad. I may give this polish a go in a water marble and see if it works, if not then it goes to polish heaven (a.k.a. my friend who creates awesome artwork with several mediums!)

Sinful Colors "Glow In The Dark"
Hi guys and happy Sunday! Today's nail polish is Sinful Colors "Glow In The Dark" which of course as it indicates is supposed to make your nails glow in the dark. I was very excited to try this polish out as I do not have any glow in the dark polishes in my collection.
"Glow In The Dark" looks milky yellow in the bottle and is meant to be applied as a topcoat to your nails. Formula wise this polish was extremely easy to apply. As you can see from the photo above the polish did glow in the bottle, but unfortunately I could not get it to glow once it was dry on my nails. (And I tried several times.)
Overall I had good hopes for Sinful Colors "Glow In The Dark" but I ended up being disappointed when it didn't work on my nails. I definitely won't be using this bottle of polish again, however if anyone has any suggestions for other brands of glow in the dark polish let me know in the comments!

Disney Logo Nail Art
Hey guys and happy Saturday! Today instead of a swatch I have some fund freehand Disney logo nail art! It has been nearly three years since I have visited Disney and my little heart misses it - but don't worry I'll be visiting Disney Aulani in Hawaii and Disneyland in California later this year! To create this freehand design I used this brush from Bundle Monster:
I also used Sephora by OPI's "Keep Me On My Mistletoes" and Wet N' Wild's "Black Creme" to create the look. Here's how the polishes look in the bottle:
Wet N' Wild's "Black Creme" and Sephora by OPI's "Keep me On My Mistletoes."
The first step for this nail art was to apply the two coats of Sephora by OPI's "Keep Me On My Mistletoes" to my nails. They looked like this:
Next I simply free handed the letters on one at a time while using this image from Google to help me:
If you want to know more about Sephora by OPI's "Keep Me On My Mistletoes" check out my post from earlier this year!
Overall I am thrilled with how these nails came out! I think it is one of my best freehand yet! What do you think?

Orly "Coffee Break"
Hello everyone and happy happy Friday! It has been a busy week and I am so glad the weekend is here again! Today's nail polish is Orly's "Coffee Break" which I had to have because I always love the chance to catch a coffee break at work!
"Coffee Break" is a nice light chocolate brown color the looks like coffee with a lot of cream added in. The formula was really nice and it applied well. After two coats "Coffee Break" was completely opaque with no streaks. As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for four days before there were some small chips.
Overall I really like Orly's "Coffee Break." This is such a lovely shade of brown and I think it'll be perfect for Autumn and Winter. So for now I'll put this polish aside for brighter colors but then it'll be my go to when Autumn arrives!

Salon Perfect "Gone Sailing"
Hey guys and happy Wednesday! Today's nail polish is Salon Perfect's "Gone Sailing." Salon Perfect is a brand I usually only see at Wal-Marts and it is very affordable.
"Gone Sailing" is a bright turquoise blue nail polish. The formula of "Gone Sailing" was really great and it applied nicely to my nails. After two coats the polish was completely opaque and streak free. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Gone Sailing" for four days before I noticed some very minor tip chips. "Gone Sailing" also had one more surprise for me and that was it is actually a matte polish! Here is how it looked with no top coat:
Overall I am super impressed with Salon Perfect's "Gone Sailing." Everything about this nail polish is perfect and I cannot wait to rock it all Summer long as it will look great by the pool!

Essie "Cocktails & Coconuts"
Hi everyone and happy Monday! We've all survived and it is one day closer to the weekend again! Today's nail polish is Essie's "Cocktails & Coconuts" which was part of the Resort Collection in 2014. I have the mini set which looks like this:
"Cocktails & Coconuts" is a lovely sandy beige colored polish with a hint of silver shimmer. The formula was really nice and it applied without any struggle to my nails. After two coats the nail polish was fully opaque with no streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Cocktails & Coconuts" for six full days before there were a few tip chips and a gap between the polish and my cuticle line.
Overall I am really happy with Essie's "Cocktails & Coconuts." While I usually prefer brighter colored polishes this beige is so lovely for formal and office events that it will continue to be a staple in my nail polish collection.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "The Real Teal"
Hi all and happy happy Saturday! I am so excited for the weekend! Hopefully you have some fun plans or like me plan to stay home and chill. So without further ado, today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "The Real Teal."
"The Real Teal" is a bright teal nail polish with a golden shimmer. The formula of this nail polish was so-so and was a bit watery. However after two coats "The Real Teal" was was completely opaque with no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear "The Real Teal" for three days before it began to chip off in good sized chunks.
Overall I am not really a fan of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "The Real Teal." The color is gorgeous but the formula and wear time were less than stellar. That being said I am undecided on if I would wear this polish again or not.

China Glaze "Red Satin"
Hey everyone and happy Thursday! Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Red Satin." This bottle of polish must have come in a set as it is a smaller than normal bottle, but I can no longer remember which one as I have had it for a while.
"Red Satin" is unsurprisingly a cherry red polish. Formula wise "Red Satin" was wonderful and applied easily to my nails. After only one coat the nail polish was entirely opaque and streak free. However I did apply a second coat for the photo above. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Red Satin" for four days before I noticed some small chips.
Overall I really like China Glaze's "Red Satin." There is nothing about this nail polish that I don't like and I plan on wearing it again and again throughout the Summer!

Sephora by OPI "Keep Me On My Mistletoes"
Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is Sephora by OPI's 'Keep Me On My Mistletoes." This polish can as part of a set I purchased off of QVC - which is an American TV channel that sells stuff. The set looks like this:
(Ignore the old watermark.)
"Keep Me On My Mistletoes" is a really pretty gold nail polish with additional golden shimmer. The formula of this polish was good and very easy to apply. After two coats "Kelp Me On My Mistletoes" was entirely opaque and had no visible streaks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for six full days before it began to flake off.
Overall I am really happy with Sephora by OPI's "Keep Me On My Mistletoes." Everything about this nail polish is very lovely and I plan on wearing it again - as I think a golden shimmer goes great all year long!

Poke Ball Nails
Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today's nail polish is actually some fun nail art featuring Pokemon. I decided to do my nails with Pokeballs which were based on these:
Image found on Google.
To create the Pokeballs on my nails I first needed some nail polish. So I dug through my collection and selected these polishes:
Sinful Color "Thimbleberry", Bundle Monster Color "Bam! White" and Sally Hansen Hard As Nails "Black Heart."
Next up I painted my nails completely with Sinful Colors "Thimbleberry" so they looked like this:
I followed this by painting the bottom half of my nails white using Bundle Monster Colors "Bam! White." Then my nails looked like this:
The next step was to draw the black line and button on to each nail. I used Sally Hansen Hard As Nails "Black Heart." I did this using some dotting tools purchased on Amazon. My nails were almost done and looked like this:
The last piece of the design was the small white dot to complete the button. I used the same white nail polish and dotting tools for this as well.
If you want to know more about Sinful Colors "Thimbleberry", Bundle Monster Color "Bam! White" or Sally Hansen Hard As Nails "Black Heart" check out my previous posts.
Overall I am really thrilled with how these nails turned out. They weren't too difficult to do and bring back a childhood spent playing Pokemon and an adulthood spent playing Pokemon Go on my phone.

butterLONDON "Sprog"
Hello all! I hope everyone I enjoying their Sunday! I'm relaxing in the peace and quiet and hoping the sun comes out soon! So to encourage the blue skies, today's nail polish is butterLONDON's "Sprog."
"Sprog" is a lovely pastel periwinkle colored polish. Formula wise "Sprog" was nice and it applied well to my nails. After two coats the nail polish was nearly opaque but did have a few small streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Sprog" for three or four days before I noticed some small chips.
Overall I like butterLONDON's "Sprog." This polish has a pretty color and is nice for Springtime and Summertime. I do plan on wearing this polish again but may apply a third coat next time to see if that helps with the streak marks.

I-Scream Nails "Mint Pattie"
Hey guys and happy Friday! (And for all you Star Wars fans May the 4th be with you day!) So without further ado, today's nail polish is I-Scream Nails "Mint Pattie" which is a brand that is new to me but that I saw rave reviews for online.
"Mint Pattie" is an absolutely stunning emerald green glitter. The formula of this nail polish was really wonderful and applied with ease with is a miracle for a glitter polish in a clear base. After two coats, "Mint Pattie" was very nearly opaque and would have been fully opaque with a third coat. (But I'm lazy and almost always wear two coats of polish.) As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for two days before there were a few small chips which is totally normal for my nails and glitter.
Overall I am really happy with I-Scream Nails "Mint Pattie." I definitely will wear this polish again and I want to get other colors from this brand! If you are looking to buy some I-Scream Nails I purchased mine on Live. Love. Polish.

OPI "Pamplona Purple"
Hey everyone and happy Wednesday! The sun is shining and we're inching towards the weekend! So without further ado, today's nail polish is OPI's "Pamplona Purple."
"Pamplona Purple" is a nice Autumn-y purple polish. It is such a gorgeous color and didn't expected to fall in love with it as much as I did! Formula wise, "Pamplona Purple" was absolutely perfect and applied with ease. After two coats the polish was completely opaque and had no streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Pamplona Purple" for five full days before I noticed any tip chips.
Overall I am really happy with OPI's "Pamplona Purple." This polish has a great color that I think would be perfect for Autumn and I can't wait to wear it again later this year when the cooler weather comes!

Zoya "Vanessa"
Hello all and happy Tuesday! I meant to post these nails yesterday but I was having so much fun on vacation I forgot! (But I'm back home now so regular posting will resume!) Today's nail polish is Zoya's "Vanessa."
"Vanessa" is a gorgeous deep red colored polish that is a perfect look all year long! The formula of this nail polish was great and it applied very well on to my nails. The only issue that you need to wipe the excess polish off the brush otherwise it will quickly flood your cuticles. After two coats "Vanessa" was entirely opaque with no visible streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for six days before I noticed any chips.
Overall I am really happy with Zoya's "Vanessa." Everything about this nail polish was fantastic and the color is a real stunner! I plan on wearing this polish again and again especially since it looks classy and works all year!
