FLOWER "May Flowers"
Howdy all! October continues on and so does the pink nail polish to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Today's nail polish is FLOWER's "May Flowers." FLOWER is a brand that is owned by actress, Drew Barrymore and also offers make-up products as well.
"May Flowers" is a nice dusty pastel pink polish. The formula of "May Flowers" was pretty good and applied well. After two coats, this nail polish was entirely opaque and has no visible streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "May Flowers" for four days before there were a few chips.
Overall I like FLOWER's "May Flowers." The color is very dainty and pretty and it perfect for Autumn. I will definitely wear this nail polish again soon!

FLOWER "Bluebell Of The Ball"
Hi guys and happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is FLOWER's "Bluebell Of The Ball." FLOWER is a brand of make-up and nail polish owned by actress, Drew Barrymore. It is a nice drugstore brand and is very affordable!
"Bluebell Of The Ball" is a pretty grey-blue nail polish that is almost a cadet blue. Formula wise this polish was fantastic and very easy to apply! After two coats of polish, "Bluebell Of The Ball" was completely opaque and streak free. In fact it was so opaque it can almost be worn as a one-coater! (Which is always a nice surprise!) As for chipping, I was able to wear "Bluebell Of The Ball" for five full days before there were any noticeable tip chips!
Overall I am very happy with FLOWER's "Bluebell Of The Ball." Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I will be wearing "Bluebell Of The Ball" again very soon!

FLOWER "Pansy Shmansy"
Hi everyone and Happy almost Christmas!! Today's nail polish is FLOWER's "Pansy Shmansy." (Pardon the awful photo but it was the best I could get on such a rainy day!)
"Pansy Shmansy" is a dusty purple colored creme nail polish. Formula wise "Pansy Shmansy" was fantastic and almost opaque after one coat! However I applied a second coat of polish just to even out the polish. And after two coats "Pansy Shmansy" was completely opaque and streak free. As for chipping I was able to wear "Pansy Shmansy" for about three days before there were noticeable tip chips. Unfortunately when I removed this polish it left stains all over my nails, which was frustrating.
Overall I have mixed feelings about FLOWER's "Pansy Shmansy." I love how this nail polish can be worn as a one-coater but it is so annoying to have stains on my nails! I will probably wear this nail polish again but only for a short time to try and prevent staining.

FLOWER "Berry Begonia"
Hi all! Now that Winter is in full swing I decided to pull out an oxblood colored polish! So today's nail polish is FLOWER's "Berry Begonia." (FLOWER by the way is a drugstore brand that is owned by actress, Drew Barrymore.)
"Berry Begonia" is a deep red, oxblood nail polish. Formula wise "Berry Begonia" is great and very easy to apply. In fact the nail polish was so great that it can be worn as a one-coater, but I applied a second coat anyways. After two coats of polish "Berry Begonia" was completely opaque and streak free. As for chipping I was able to wear "Berry Begonia" for about four days before there were some tip chips.
Overall I am very pleased with FLOWER's "Berry Begonia." Everything about this nail polish is wonderful and I will definitely be wearing it again soon!

FLOWER "Evening Primrose"
Hi everyone! Today's nail polish is FLOWER's "Evening Primrose." FLOWER is actress Drew Barrymore's make-up brand that is surprisingly reasonably priced and sold at Wal-Mart!
"Evening Primrose" is a dark teal polish with a golden shimmer. Formula wise this polish is decent and was not too difficult to apply. After two coats of polish "Evening Primrose" was completely opaque but because of the holographic shimmer there were visible streak marks. As for chipping I was able to wear "Evening Primrose" for about three days before there were noticeable chips.
Overall I like FLOWER's "Evening Primrose." The formula is nice, the color pretty, and it was nice that is was completely opaque. Really my only dislike about this polish is that I was only able to wear it for three days, since it is such a lovely color I wanted to wear it longer! (Which just means I need to wear "Evening Primrose" again soon!)

Dupe Post: Coral Colored Polishes
Hi everyone! With the end of Summer drawing closer I decided to pull out some coral colored polish and pretend that Summer will last forever! I noticed that several of the bottles look very similar and decided to compare three of them. Today I'm comparing Essie's "Van D'Go," Nicole by OPI's "Selena," and FLOWER's "What's The Daffodilly-O?"
Before I start comparing color let me tell you a little about each one.
Essie's "Van D'Go" is a pastel baby pink cream with a good formula that was easy to apply. After two coats the nail polish was completely opaque and streak free.
Nicole by OPI's "Selena" is a pastel coral colored polish, this isn't quite a true cream. The formula was good. To learn more about this polish check out a previous post I did:

FLOWER's "What's The Daffodilly-O?" is a slightly bright coral pink cream. The formula of this polish was nice and easy to apply. To learn more about this polish check out my previous post here: http://perfectlypolished12.blogspot.com/2013/03/flower-whats-daffodilly-o.html

FLOWER "Aster Place"
Hi everyone! Today's nail polish is FLOWER's "Aster Place." FLOWER is actress Drew Barrymore's make-up company and I find their products to be very affordable. The nail polish costs around $5 USD a bottle.
"Aster Place" is a very pretty berry colored nail polish. Formula wise "Aster Place" was super easy to apply and was completely opaque after two coats. There were also no visible streak marks and upon removing "Aster Place" there were no stains left on my nails (which often happens to me with darker colored polishes!) As for chipping "Aster Place" lasted about three days before there were noticeable tip chips.
Overall I am pleased with FLOWER's "Aster Place." Everything about this polish is good and the color is lovely. I will definitely be wearing this nail polish again, especially this Autumn because it is more of an Autumn color!

FLOWER "Beige Beauty"
Hi everyone! I can't believe we are over halfway through March already, even though Spring forgot to show up! It seems like the year is flying by. After a few brightly colored polishes I decided to try out a nice neutral polish by actress Drew Barrymore's make-up company, FLOWER. Today's nail polish is called "Beige Beauty."
"Beige Beauty" is not surprisingly a beige colored nail polish and the color reminds me of coffee ice cream. Formula wise "Beige Beauty" is pretty good, though just the tiniest bit watery. After two coats of polish "Beige Beauty" was nearly opaque but not entirely. I think this could be fixed by using slightly thicker coats of nail polish. "Beige Beauty" also has many visible streak marks, but again I think thicker coats of polish would probably fix that. As for chipping "Beige Beauty" lasted about three days before it started to chip on the tips of my nails.
Overall FLOWER's "Beige Beauty" is a decent nail polish. I love the color and the formula is fair but it would have been nice to have less visible streak marks and to have been able to wear this polish for more than three days. Since I think slightly thicker coats of nail polish might solve my streak mark and opaqueness problem I definitely plan on giving this nail polish another go!

FLOWER "Eye of the Tiger Lily"
Hi everyone! After wearing some calmer Autumn colors the last couple of weeks I decided that I needed to brighten it back up! Since the leaves are going to be changing soon I decided to pick out a bright orange. I don't own very many orange nail polishes so I picked out FLOWER's "Eye of the Tiger Lily." For those of you who don't know FLOWER is a drugstore brand owned by actress Drew Barrymore. The make-up line and nail polish are all reasonably priced and are happily made in the USA!
FLOWER's "Eye of the Tiger Lily" is this super bright orange nail polish. I assumed that "Eye of the Tiger Lily" would be a cream but in fact it is a jelly nail polish! The formula is lovely and went on super smooth ad after two coats of nail polish the orange color of "Eye of the Tiger Lily" was nearly opaque and had no streaking at all! In terms of chipping "Eye of the Tiger Lily" didn't per sat chip as much as it just wore off. In less than 24 hours the nail polish had worn off of the bottom third of all my nails. (You can kind of see it starting in the picture!) It was very bizarre and have never seen it happen before. I ended up taking "Eye of the Tiger Lily" off after one day because it just looked awful!
Overall I am very disappointed that FLOWER's "Eye of the Tiger Lily" didn't last! The color is very pretty and the formula is nice but I probably won't wear this nail polish much because if wears off so quickly!

FLOWER "What's the Daffodilly-O?"
Hi everyone! I am so excited that it is officially Spring now! I really hope that the cold weather is gone for good (or until Fall). Since it is Spring now and flowers are starting to bloom I decided to try out Drew Barrymore's new line of cosmetics called FLOWER. FLOWER is a cool brand that is made here in the United States, which is nice and Drew Barrymore helps selected the colors and products she likes! I purchased a few of her nail polishes and have been dying to try them!
So this week I decided to try "What's the Daffodilly-O?" which is a pretty pink coral color and I love how all the nail polish names have a flower name in it! "What's the Daffodilly-O?" has a great formula and went on very well! I think I probably could have gotten away with one coat, but I almost always do two coats just to make the color brighter. Also I worried that because of FLOWER's square cap it might be awkward to hold and apply the nail polish, but in my opinion it was easy to hold and apply nail polish with. In terms of chipping "What's the Daffodilly-O?" didn't hold up very long. I started seeing minor tip chips within the first day, but as the days passed the chipping didn't get any worse. In the end I wore "What's the Daffodilly-O?" for about four or five days, so I was pleased.
Overall I am in love with the color of "What's The Daffodilly-O?" and I love how shiny it looks when it is dry! And I am very pleased with the new comer brand FLOWER and cannot wait to try out many of the other colors in the collection as well as using "What's the Daffodilly-O?" again!
Here is a bit more about FLOWER: FLOWER is owned and operated by actress Drew Barrymore and the company prides itself on NOT spending any money on advertising, but instead using word or mouth to advertise. FLOWER is exclusively available at Wal-Mart. And all FLOWER nail polishes are 3-Free. Be sure to check-out www.flowerbeauty.com to see FLOWER's full line of products!
