Essie "Groove Is In The Heart"

Hi guys!  I can't believe that October is nearly over!  Where did this month get to?  We still have a few more days left though - and that means more pink nail polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's pink polish is Essie's "Groove Is In The Heart."

"Groove Is In The Heart" is a pretty pastel pink polish that is perfect for Spring.  Formula wise this nail polish was nice and very easy to apply.  After two coats "Groove Is In The Heart" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Groove Is In The Heart" for four days before it started to chip off in small flakes.

Overall I am happy with Essie's "Groove Is In The Heart."  Everything about this nail polish is great and I cannot wait to wear this polish again soon!  I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Raspberry Rave"

Hi everyone!  It's Wednesday so obviously I need to make a Mean Girls reference: "On Wednesday's we wear pink!"  As October draws to a close we only have a few ore pink nail polishes left in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  So without further ado, today's pink polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Raspberry Rave."

"Raspberry Rave" is a bright berry colored nail polish.  The formula of this polish was watery and it caused some struggles when I applied it.  After two coats of polish, "Raspberry Rave" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three full days before there were noticeable tip chips.

Overall I have mixed feelings about Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Raspberry Rave."  I love everything about this nail polish except the watery formula.  The watery formula was quite annoying to deal with but I am willing to use this nail polish again because I love the color.

Orly "Cake Pop"

Hi guys!  October is nearly over and I've worn a lot of awesome bright pink nail polishes so today I decided to tone it down and go with a lighter pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Orly's "Cake Pop."

"Cake Pop" is a gorgeous pastel pink nail polish.  Formula wise this polish was good but leaned slightly to the watery.  However it was still easy to apply as long as you wiped the brush on the edge of the bottle.  After two coats, "Cake Pop" was completely opaque but there were a fair amount of visible streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Cake Pop" for about four days before the polish started to flake off in small chunks.

Overall I have mixed feelings with Orly's "Cake Pop."  I love the color and I was able to wear it for a good amount of time but it was frustrating to have so many visible streak marks.  However I will wear "Cake Pop" again and hopefully with a little patience I can get this polish to have less streak marks.

China Glaze "Pink Voltage"

Hi all and happy Saturday!  As October continues on so does the pink nail polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's pink nail polish is China Glaze's "Pink Voltage" which is part of China Glaze's 2014 Breast Cancer collection.

"Pink Voltage is a bright neon pink nail polish that is perfect for Summertime.  Formula wise this nail polish was on the watery side but with some extreme patience it can be applied without too many drips.  After two coats, "Pink Voltage" was mostly opaque but had several visible streak marks, which I find quite often with neon nail polishes.  In terms of chipping, I was ale to wear "Pink Voltage" for three days before it started to chip off in good size flakes.

Overall I am a bit disappointed by China Glaze's "Pink Voltage."  I love the fun bright pink color but the formula and streak marks made this nail polish difficult the wear.  That being said, I am willing to give this polish another go and maybe next time I'll try this polish out in a nail art because I am almost positive that a watery formula could work well for splatter nails!

Finger Paints "Matisse's Mirage"

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is looking forward to the upcoming weekend - I know I am looking forward to relaxing and taking it easy!  It is still October so that means the pink nail polishes to honor Breast Cancer Awareness.  Today's nail polish is Finger Paints "Matisse's Mirage."

"Matisse's Mirage" is a bright pink nail polish with a hint of shimmer.  Formula wise this polish was slightly watery but still easy enough to apply.  After two coats, "Matisse's Mirage" was completely opaque and had no visible streaks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three days before there were some noticeable tip chips.

Overall I have mixed feelings about Finger Paints "Matisse's Mirage."  The color is very pretty but the formula and how quickly it chipped was a bit disappointing.  However I am willing to give this polish another go and maybe next time I'll be able to wear this polish for a longer amount of time.
