OPI "Purple Palazzo Pants"

Hi all!  I can't believe that May is over today!  I know I say this just about every month, but this year literally seems to be flying by!  So without further ado the final nail polish of May, is OPI's "Purple Palazzo Pants" from their Fall 2015 Venice Collection.

"Purple Palazzo Pants" is a lovely light pastel lavender colored polish.  Formula wise this nail polish was thick and took quite a bit of patience to apply.  However, after two coats, "Purple Palazzo Pants" was completely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for a full week before my nails grew out too much and the polish needed to be changed!

Overall I am super happy with OPI's "Purple Palazzo Pants."  While the formula was a little tricky everything else was flawless and I can't wait to wear this polish again very soon!

China Glaze "Meet Me In The Mirage"

Hi all!  Sorry for the delay in posting, but the wi-fi has been out all day!  Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Meet Me In The Mirage" which came as part of a limited edition Build Your Own Set.  This past December ULTA had around 10-12 miniature bottles that you could turn into little customized sets.

"Meet Me In The Mirage" is a gorgeous rose gold shimmer.  Formula wise this polish was fantastic and very easy to apply.  After tow coats, "Meet Me In The Mirage" was entirely opaque and only had one or two visible streak marks - and streak marks are common with shimmery polishes.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for five full days before I noticed any chips marks.

Overall I am very pleased with China Glaze's "Meet Me In The Mirage."  Everything about this nail polish is perfect and it looked fantastic on my nails!  I cannot wait to wear this nail polish again and again!

Bundle Monster Plate BM-XL357: Boho Nails

Hello everyone!  On today's extra special post I am testing out Bundle Monster's Stamping Plate BM-XL357.  The plate has some fun floral/Boho looking designs that I had been itching to try out.  here's how the plate looks:

As you can see all the Boho patterns can create endlessly unique looks.  So to create this look I pulled out my Bundle Monster Color "Straight Up Black" to stamp with and Nail Matic's "Kimi" as the gorgeous base.  In the bottles the polish looks like this:

Nail Matic's "Kimi" and Bundle Monster Color's "Straight Up Black."

After selecting the polish I painted two coats of Nail Matic "Kimi" on to my nails and it looked like this:

The next step was to place Bundle Monster Color's "Poli-Peel" to protect my skin and make the clean up better.  The "Poli-Peel" looks like this:

From there I used my Bundle Monster stamper to place the look on my nails.  Then it is time to clean up by peeling off the "Poli-Peel" and placing a top coat on the finished look.

Overall I really love how this look turned out.  It is so pretty and the perfect look for Summer! However that being said I still have a lot of work to do to perfect my stamping skills.  (And any suggestions for becoming better are welcome!)

Essie "Delhi Dance"

Hello everyone and happy Saturday!  Last night our street had a cook-out and it was a great time, but I am tired this morning.  So to wake me back up this morning, today's nail polish is Essie's "Delhi Dance" which came as part of the Spring 2016 Resort collection.  the set looks like this:

"Delhi Dance" is a beautiful pastel pink polish that is perfect for Springtime!  formula wise this nail polish was great and very easy to apply.  After two coats, "Delhi Dance" was entirely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for five days before there were some small chips.

Overall I am very impressed with Essie's "Delhi Dance."  Everything about this nail polish is perfect and I cannot wait to wear it again soon!

Pop-arazzi "Shell Me More"

Hi everyone!  I'm so excited that tomorrow is Friday!  It's always nice to get to get to the weekend. Today's nail polish is Pop-arazzi's "Shell Me More."

"Shell Me More" is a lovely sky blue colored polish.  Formula wise this polish was good and easy to apply.  Though I do have one small complaint and that is that this polish has a terrible smell - though I can't put my finger on what it smells like.  After two coats, "Shell Me More" was almost completely opaque but it did have several visible streak marks on each nail.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three or four days before it began to chip off.

Overall I have mixed feelings about Pop-arazzi's "Shell Me More."  I love the color of this polish but everything else was only so-so.  However that being said I will probably give this nail polish anther go because it wasn't terrible.

butterLONDON "Front Row"

Hi all and happy Tuesday!  It's miserably rainy out today so I went with a nice calming color to match the weather.  Today's nail polish is butterLONDON's "Front Row."  This polish is part of a limited edition collection called Arm Candy.  The set looks like this:

"Front Row" is a deep burgundy colored polish.  Formula wise this polish was okay, but very streaky.  After two coats, "Front Row" was entirely opaque but it did not look very good on my nails.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for two days before it began to chip.

Overall I have mixed feelings about butterLONDON's "Front Row."  The color looks really nice in the bottle but the looks stopped there and on top of that it chipped very quickly.  I would give this polish another try but not before I try other polishes in my collection.

Sephora by OPI "A True Romantic"

Hi all and happy Sunday!  Today's nail polish is Sephora by OPI's "A True Romantic."  Sephora by OPI, or SOPI, is a retired brand of nail polish that used to be sold at Sephora stores.  "A True Romantic" is a miniature bottle that came as part of a set that was sold on an American TV channel called QVC.  The set looks like this:

"A True Romantic" is a pale baby pink polish that almost matches my skin.  Formula wise this nail polish was very nice and easy to apply.  However the tiny bottle often times tried to slip out of my hands.  (A user error on my part haha.)  After two coats, "A True Romantic" was not even close to opaque and you could still see my nail bed.  That being said there were no streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for three days before it began to chip.

Overall I have mixed feelings about Sephora by OPI's "A True Romantic."  I like the polish's color and its application was good but the fact that it wasn't opaque annoys me.  Chances are though, I will wear this polish again but as a base for glitter or nail art.
