Claire's "Electric Avenue"
Hello all and happy Saturday! Today's nail polish is Claire's "Electric Avenue." Claire's is a kid's jewelry and make-up store that is located in malls in the United States (not sure if they are anywhere else) and it is usually inexpensive.
"Electric Avenue" is a unique looking polish, a turquoise crelly with black and silver chunky glitter mixed in. Formula wise "Electric Avenue" was pretty good and the glitter spread easily on my nails. After two coats the polish was not even close to opaque but there were not streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for only one day because it did not look that great on my nails.
Overall I have mixed feelings about Claire's "Electric Avenue." It is a unique looking polish that applied well but it wasn't opaque, didn't look that good on my nails and it wasn't a long wearing polish. I'd have to think long and hard before wearing this nail polish again.

Bundle Monster Color "Poli-Peel"
Hey all! Sorry to have been M.I.A. for a few days but I had a bad week that ended in a trip to Urgent Care after I was attacked by a neighbor's cat. I took a couple days to recover and I am feeling a lot better! Today's post is Bundle Monster Color's "Poli-Peel" which is actually not a nail polish at all! Instead it is a latex-free skin protector.
You can use "Poli-Peel" when you do nail art to make the clean up easier! You paint it around the edge of your nails, it dries quickly and then you are ready to stamp or freehand. Here are a few times I have used "Poli-Peel."
This was my first attempt at stamping. Check out my Egyptian Nails out.
Using "Poli-Peel" to create these Boho Nails.
Overall I am so pleased by Bundle Monster Color's "Poli-Peel." This has been the most helpful product I have tried for cleaning up nails quickly. I continue to use this product all the time and will be purchasing more!

Bundle Monster Plate XL213: Space Nails
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a nice Monday! I realized I hadn't done any stamping designs in a while, so I decided to fix that! Today's nail art is based on outer space.
To create this look I first needed to pull out my Bundle Monster stamping plate! I selected BM-XL213 which as you can see offered me a variety of images to choose from! Next I deeded to select nail polishes. I selected these polishes:
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails "Ice Queen", OPI's "Give Me Space" and Bundle Monster Colors "So Metal"
After all the supplies were out I painted my nails with two coats of OPI's "Give Me Space" as the base. I followed that up with a single coat of Sally Hansen Hard As Nails "Ice Queen." After that I stamped at random the micro stars/Milky Way designs onto my nails using Bundle Monster Color's "So Metal."
If you want to know more about OPI's "Give Me Space" or Sally Hansen Hard As Nails "Ice Queen" check out my posts from earlier this year!
Overall I really like how this nail art turned out! While it is not as pretty as many of the other space manis I have seen it was still fun to wear!

Sephora Formula X "Alchemy"
Hey guys and happy Saturday! It is officially Autumn now so I broke out the perfect polish to ring in the season! Today's nail polish is Sephora Formula X's "Alchemy." Formula X is a brand that used to be sold at Sephora stores but was retired over a year ago.
"Alchemy" is a copper colored polish with lots of micro glitter that reflects well in the light. The formula of this polish was perfect and it applied with ease. After two coats, "Alchemy" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three days before it began to chip off.
Overall I really like Sephora Formula X's "Alchemy." The color is gorgeous and looked extra awesome out in the sunshine! I can't wait to wear "Alchemy" again - perhaps for Thanksgiving!

Nicole by OPI "Challenge Red-y"
Hi everyone and happy almost Friday! (So ready for the weekend!) Today's nail polish is Nicole by OPI's "Challenge Red-y." This polish was part of a limited edition special release by collecting box tops tops off of Special K cereals.
"Challenge Red-y" is a bright dark apple red colored polish. Formula wise this nail polish was great and applied well on my nails. After two coats, "Challenge Red-y" was completely opaque and had no visible streaks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Challenge Red-y" for four days before I noticed some small tip chips.
Overall I really like Nicole by OPI's "Challenge Red-y." Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I can't wait to wear it again soon!

Orly Color Blast "Star Tours"
Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is Orly Color Blast's "Star Tours." This nail polish came as part of a set called Hollywood Duo which looks like this:
"Star Tours" is a deep teal colored polish. Formula wise "Star Tours" was good and very easy to apply. After two coats the polish was entirely opaque and streak free. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Star Tours" for five days before I noticed any chips. Unfortunately when I removed the polish it had stained my nails horribly!
Overall I have mixed feels about Orly Color Blast's "Star Tours." The color and formula are nice and it looked nice on my nails. But my nails looked so terrible after the polish that I am not sure I am willing to give this polish another go.

Color Club "Over The Moon"
Hello all! I hope everyone has survived Monday! Today's nail polish is Color Club's "Over The Moon" which is a nail polish I purchased on the Live. Love. Polish. website earlier this year.
"Over The Moon" is a stunning blue and silver holo! (It's more holo than I have every seen before on my nails!) The formula of this nail polish was fantastic and extremely easy to apply. After only one coat of polish, "Over The Moon" was completely opaque and streak free. However I added a second coat for the photos. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Over The Moon" for a full week before I noticed any chips, which is awesome!
Overall I am in love with Color Club's "Over The Moon." Everything about this nail polish is perfect and I cannot wait to wear it again and again! I also want to order some more Color Club polishes on Live. Love. Polish.

Finger Paints "Picturesque Purple"
Hello all and happy Sunday! After rocking some nail art earlier in the week I've decided to tone it back today! So without further ado, today's nail polish is Finger Paints "Picturesque Purple."
"Picturesque Purple" is a deep purple with fuchsia undertones. Formula wise this nail polish was great and very easy to apply. After only one coat of polish, "Picturesque Purple" was entirely opaque and streak free. However I did add a second coat for the pictures, and because I find polish wears better with two coats. As far as chipping, I was able to wear "Picturesque Purple" for five full days before there were any chips.
Overall I really happy with Finger Paints "Picturesque Purple." Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I definitely plan on wearing it a lot more!

Nail Art: Stained Glass Mani
Hello all and happy Saturday! Today's nail polish, is actually nail art! (Yay!) Lately I've been trying out stamping plates so today I decided to change it up and freehand and do a stained glass mani! To begin with I needed to pull out all the supplies I would need: tape, scissors, and tweezers.
I also needed to select a bunch of nail polish to create this look. Here are the ones I selected:
Sephora by OPI's "Keys To My Hybrid", Zoya's "Rebel", Essie's "Aim To Misbehave", Zoya's "Hudson", OPI's "Center Of The You-niverse" and Wet N' Wild's "Hallucinate."
To create this look I first used OPI's "Center Of The You-niverse" and a coat of Wet N' Wild's "Hallucinate" to create the base. It looked like this:
Next I placed the striped tape in a stained glass looking pattern. It looked like this:
Overall I absolutely love how this mani turned out! And was super simple to do! I received a ton of compliments while wearing this nail art and I will definitely wear it gain soon!
If you want to know more about OPI's "Center Of The You-niverse" or Zoya's "Hudson" check out my posts from earlier this year!

Zoya "Hudson"
Hi everyone and happy Thursday! Who else is ready for the weekend? Today's nail polish is Zoya's "Hudson."
"Hudson" is a wonderful purple polish with a silver shimmer. Formula wise this nail polish is perfect and applied with ease! After two coats of polish, "Hudson" was completely opaque and streak free. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for six full days before any tip chips started to show up.
Overall I am really pleased with Zoya's "Hudson." Everything about this nail polish was perfect and I cannot wait to wear "Hudson" again!

Sinful Colors "Peaches N' Cream"
Hello guys! Sorry for being missing in action for a few days but I have been majorly cleaning out my bedroom - which some how turned into a hoard. (I guess that is what 17 years in the same room will do to it!) But I am back now so without further ado, today's nail polish is Sinful Colors "Peaches N' Cream."
"Peaches N' Cream" is not surprisingly a light peachy pink colored polish. Formula wise this polish was slightly watery but still very easy to apply. After two coats "Peaches N' Cream" was entirely opaque and streak free. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Peaches N' Cream" for four full days before it began to chip.
"Peaches N' Cream is part of the Kandee Johnson Vintage Matte collection so it dried with a gorgeous matte finish. Here's how "Peaches N' Cream" looked before I applied a shiny top coat:
Overall I am really pleased with Sinful Colors "Peaches N' Cream." I will definitely wear this nail polish again soon!

Nail Therapy Gloves
Hi everyone and happy Saturday! I've spent the day cleaning my bedroom out and I am exhausted! Today's post is not actually nail polish but nail therapy gloves from the website Memebox. The packaging looked like this:
The directions were pretty simple - apply one finger glove to each nail, let site for 30 minutes to one hour and rub the excess liquid into your nails. The treatment was super easy to do and my nails turned out great! Here's how they looked after:
Overall I am very impressed with this product and I will definitely be ordering more! Now my nails will survive Winter intact and not dried out!

China Glaze "Partridge In A Palm Tree"
"Partridge In A Palm Tree" is a lovely aquamarine colored polish. Formula wise this nail polish was extremely easy to apply! After two coats, "Partridge In A Palm Tree" appeared initially to be opaque but some odd cracks began to appear on a few of my nails. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Partridge In A Palm Tree" for less than one day because of the odd cracks that developed.
I was also surprised to discover that "Partridge In A Palm Tree" was a matte polish! Here's how it looked before I applied the top coat!
Overall I have mixed feelings on China Glaze's "Partridge In A Palm tree." I adore the color and as Florida child I love a warm beachy Christmas. However it was so bizarre that these cracks developed in the polish, so I am not sure if it was a one time thing or if it would happen again or not.

Sephora by OPI's "Pale Is The New Tan"
Hey guys and happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is Sephora by OPI's "Pale Is The New Tan." Sephora by OPI is a retired collection that is no longer sold but before it was retired I bought several mini sets. "Pale Is The New Tan" comes from a set called Metro Too Chic, which looks like this:
"Pale Is The New Tan" is a very pale beige - almost a baby pink. Formula wise this nail polish was pretty good and it applied onto my nail easily. After two coats, "Pale Is The New Tan" was not entirely opaque and had several visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for two days before I decided to take it off because it began to chip.
Overall I am not very fond of Sephora by OPI's "Pale Is The New Tan." The color is nice and the formula was great but it didn't look so fantastic on my nails. I would be willing to give this polish another go but as a base coat for some nail art!

OPI "Center Of The You-niverse"
Hi everyone and happy Labor Day to everyone in the United States. While it may be a regular Monday for the rest of the world I am enjoying an extra day lounging at home! Today's nail polish is is OPI's "Center Of The You-niverse."
"Center Of The You-niverse" is a lovely black nail polish with silver shimmer. Formula wise this nail polish was good and easy to apply. However the brush felt unnecessarily wide even by OPI standards, which meant I had to take a little extra time to not flood my nails. After two coats "Center Of The You-niverse" was completely opaque and streak free. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for five days before I noticed any tip chips.
Overall I am quite pleased with OPI's "Center Of The You-niverse." Everything about this nail polish is nice, with my only complaint being the oddly overly wide brush. However that being said I will wear this nail polish again because I can live with the slightly annoying brush.

Enchanted Polish "Bathwater"
Hi guys and happy Sunday! I am super excited about today's nail polish because it is a new to me brand: Enchanted Polish! I purchased this nail polish on Live. Love. Polish. the website. So without further ado, here is Enchanted Polish's "Bathwater."
"Bathwater" is a gorgeous blue nail polish with silver shimmer. It looked stunning in the bottle and I was super excited to try it on my nails! Formula wise this nail polish was perfect and applied on my nails flawlessly! After only one coat, "Bathwater" was entirely opaque and had no visible streaks. However I did apply a second coat for all the pictures. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Bathwater" for a full week before there were one or two small chips.
Overall I am loving Enchanted Polish's "Bathwater." Absolutely everything about this nail polish is perfect and I will be wearing it all the time, and buying some more polishes by this brand!

Dupe Post: China Glaze "Boho Blues" vs. Sinful Colors "Sail La Vie"
Hi guys and happy Saturday! It has been some time since my last dupe/comparison post. Today's polished are China Glaze's "Boho Blues" and Sinful Colors "Sail La Vie." Both polishes are lovely periwinkle polishes that do look identical in the bottle:
As you can China Glaze's "Boho Blues" and Sinful Colors "Sail la Vie" are in fact identical. The formula on both were close but China Glaze's "Boho Blues" was just a little better. As for wearability, I had better luck with China Glaze's "Boho Blues" which wore for a week, while Sinful Colors "Sail La Vie" only lasted for four days. However price wise, Sinful Colors "Sail La Vie" was only $1.99 (USD) a bottle where China Glaze goes for $7.50 (USD).
If you want to know more about China Glaze's "Boho Blues" or Sinful Colors "Sail La Vie" check out my posts from earlier this year!
Overall both China Glaze's "Boho Blues" and Sinful Colors "Sail la Vie" are good polishes but "Boho Blues" was just the tiniest bit better. That being said I would wear both of these polishes again!
