OPI "Skating On Thin Ice-Land"
Hi guys! I hope everyone is having a nice Tuesday! I can't believe that it is already the end of February! It seems like 2018 is flying by us! So without further ado, today's nail polish is OPI's "Skating On Thin Ice-Land."
"Skating On Thin Ice-Land" is a really pretty purple berry colored polish. The formula was lovely and the polish was really easy to apply. After two coats, "Skating On Thin Ice-Land" was entirely opaque with no visible streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for six days before there was some tip wear and tear.
Overall I am really happy with OPI's "Skating On Thin Ice-Land." I absolutely adore the color and the formula as well as how long I was able to wear this polish before it chipped. I plan on wearing this nail polish a lot more often!

butterLONDON "Queen Vic"
Hey everyone! It's a rainy Sunday morning here in the mountains but I can't resist some fuchsia colored nails! Today's nail polish is butterLONDON's "Queen Vic" which is named after long reigning Queen Victoria of England.
"Queen Vic" is a stunning berry colored polish. The formula of this nail polish was utterly fantastic and very easy to apply! I was quite surprised that "Queen Vic" was a one-coater! However I applied two coats for the pictures. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for four days before I noticed some wear and tear on the tips.
Overall I really like butterLONDON's "Queen Vic." I absolutely adore this color and the formula makes this nail polish even better! I definitely plan on wearing this polish a lot more often!

Bundle Monster Plate XL156: Clock Nails
Hello everyone and happy Saturday! Today's post is some fun London inspired nail art using Bundle Monster products. To begin with the plate I selected is Bundle Monster Plate XL156 "Around The World 2." Here's how it looks:
Next I started with a base color to stamp on. I selected Essie's "Hot Coco" which is a lovely chocolate brown colored polish. It looked like this on my nail:
After this I applied Bundle Monster Color "Poli-Peel" to protect my cuticles and make clean up easier. This looked like:
Afterwards it was time to start stamping. First I used Bundle Monster Color's "Storm Cloud" which looked like this:
After that I decided to stamp a second layer on using Bundle Monster Color's "Straight Up Black." This made the design really easy to see and looked like this:
If you want to know more about Essie's "Hot Coco" or Bundle Monster Color's "Polishes-Peel" check out my previous posts!
Overal I am really happy with how this nail art turned out! I think to date this is the best design I have ever stamped!

Sally Hansen Extreme Wear "Lime Lights"
Hello guys and happy Friday! Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Lime Lights." I have had this nail polish since 2011 just sitting around waiting to be loved, so I decided there's no time like the present to test it out!
"Lime Lights" is a fun shimmery mint green nail polish. The formula of "Lime Lights" was a little bit watery but by wiping the brush on the bottle and using quick brush strokes it went on my nails with ease. After two coats the polish was kind of opaque but with the shimmer there were a few streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Lime Lights" for three days before it began to flake off.
Overall I like the color of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Lime Lights" but as the polish is really old I am not surprised by the watery formula. I think if I could find a new bottle of this nail polish then I would wear it again.

Essie "Hot Coco"
Hi all and happy hump day! I am so glad we are over halfway through the week and Friday will be here before we know it! (It also totally helped that it was sunny and 72 degrees out today!) Today's nail polish is Essie's "Hot Coco."
"Hot Coco" is a really Nice light chocolate brown nail polish that is perfect for Wintertime! The formula of this polish was fantastic and very easy to apply. After two coats, "Hot Coco" was entirely opaque with no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for six days before I noticed a few tiny chips.
Overall I am really happy with Essie's "Hot Coco." Everything about this nail polish is lovely and I can't wait to wear it all Winter long!

Nicole by OPI "Is It Pay Day Yet?"
Hello everyone and happy Monday. Today's nail polish is Nicole by OPI's "Is It Pay Day Yet?" which is actually a miss-labeled bottle because it was a Sephora by OPI color. I guess that's what I get for buying it at TJ Maxx - and what's worse is the set just says OPI! Here's what the sad little set looks like:
"Is It Pay Day Yet?" is a pastel green colored polish. Formula wise this nail polish was fair to slightly watery. After two coats, "Is It Pay Day Yet?" was nowhere near opaque and my nails were one giant streak mark. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for one day because it looked so sad and I was embarrassed to go out with my nails looking like that!
Overall I am disappointed by this nail polish. Everything from its mislabeled branding to how awful it looked on my handshakes me sad. I don't plan on wearing this nail polish again anytime soon.

China Glaze "Flying Dragon"
Hello everyone and happy Saturday! The weather may be dreary but I've gone for a bright colored nail today and hopefully it'll help the sunshine come back soon! So without further ado, today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Flying Dragon."
"Flying Dragon" is a bright neon purple nail polish. The formula of "Flying Dragon" was a little thick and gloopy but with some patience it applied okay on my nails. After two coats, the nail polish was entirely opaque and streak free. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Flying Dragon" for a full week before my nails grew out and I needed to repaint them! One surprise was that "Flying Dragon" dries with a matte finish. Here's how it looked without a top coat:
Overall I am really pleased with China Glaze's "Flying Dragon." Everything about this nail polish is pretty good and I absolutely adore the color! I can't wait to wear this polish again and again!

Dupe Post: Pastel Yellow Polishes
Hello everyone and happy Thursday. (I'm so excited it is almost the weekend!) Today's nail polish is actually a comparison between Orly's "Lemonade," butterLONDON's "Jasper" and ULTA's "Cream Of The Crop." Here's how the polishes stack up next to each other:
As you can see the polishes in the bottle appear very similar though not completely identical. For the comparison on my nails I used two coats for Orly's "Lemonade" and three coats for the others. On the nails butterLONDON's "Jasper" and Orly's "Lemonade" looked the closest with Orly's "Lemonade" having a hair bit more color. ULTA's "Cream Of The Crop" was the palest of the three.
If you want to know more about Orly's "Lemonade", butterLONDON's "Jasper" or ULTA's "Cream Of The Crop" check out my posts from previous years!
Overall while I think butterLONDON's "Jasper" and Orly's "Lemonade" are close enough to dupes that you probably don't need to own both there is a bigger and noticeable difference for both when compared to ULTA's "Area Of The Crop." If I had to choose my favorite is Orly's "Lemonade."

Orly "Plum Noir"
Hi guys and happy Tuesday! It has been raining for several days so I decided to go with that theme and pick a dark color for my nails. So without further ado, today's nail polish is Orly "Plum Noir" which is a fun color for Winter.
"Plum Noir" is a gorgeous deep purple berry colored nail polish. The formula of this nail polish was very good and extremely easy to apply. After two coats of polish, "Plum Noir" was completely opaque with no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Plum Noir" for four days before I noticed any chips.
Overall I am really pleased with Orly's "Plum Noir." Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and it looks great with my skin tone! I can't wait to wear this polish a lot more often.

Ciaté "Caviar Pearls - Gold"
Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Today we are having an unusually warm Winter day and I am enjoying it very much! Today's nail polish is actually Ciaté's "Caviar Pearls - Gold" which can be used to create textured designs. Here's how the pearls look in the bottle:
Since the "Caviar Pearls - Gold" are loose in the bottle I decided to create a fun little nail art design. First I used Finger Paints "Van Gogh Verdigris" a gorgeous shimmer green as the base coat. The I used a clear polish to be able to add the pearls to the tips of my nails. This look was fun and different though not very practical for the long term wear as it kept catching on my hair.
If you want to know more about Finger Paint's "Van Gogh Verdigris" check out my post from earlier this year!
Overall I like Ciaté's "Caviar Pearls - Gold" but they are definitely for specialty wear and not the every day use. More than likely I won't be wearing them very often.

Frida Kahlo "FKN.37"
Hello all and happy Friday! Today's nail polish is Frida Kahlo's "FKN.37." This is a brand of nail polish I have never heard of before but stumbled upon in 2016 at a CVS in Florida. The packing looked neat and since it is named after the artist it gave me the chance to learn more about her.
"FKN.37" is a really pretty dusty turquoise polish. Formula wise "FKN.37" was really good and applied well. After two coats, the nail polish was entirely opaque and streak free. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "FKN.37" for five days before I noticed a small amount of wear on the tips.
Overall I am really pleased by Frida Kahlo's "FKN.37." I wish when I bought this one I had purchased more colors from this brand, but alas I haven't seen this brand since. Let me know in the comments if you have seen this brand of nail polish around!

OPI "One Chic Chick"
Hi everyone and happy Wednesday! It has been raining here all day and I needed a bit of sunshine and happiness so I picked out a pretty yellow polish! Today's nail polish is OPI's "One Chic Chick" which is perfect for Springtime!
"One Chic Chick" is a lovely pastel yellow nail polish. Formula wise this polish was slightly watery but still easy enough to apply. After two coats "One Chic Chick" was mostly opaque but did have a few streak marks. In terms of chipping I was able to wear "One Chic Chick" for three days before I noticed tip chips.
Overall I like OPI's "One Chic Chick." The color is fun and definitely one I do not have a lot of in my collection. I will probably wear this nail polish more often as Spring arrives.

China Glaze "Good Tide-ings"
Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Good Tide-ings" which was part of a Christmas mini-set. The set was called Shell-ebration Time! and it looks like this:
"Good Tide-ings" is a really pretty periwinkle colored polish. The formula of "Good Tide-ings" was pretty good though the tiny brush was a struggle. After two coats, the nail polish was entirely opaque without a streak mark in sight! As for chipping, I was able to wear "Good Tide-ings" for six days before there was noticeable wear and tear to the tips.
Overall I am really happy with China Glaze's "Good Tide-ings." Everything from the color to the wear time was wonderful for this nail polish! Come this Summer, "Good Tide-ings" may become my go to polish!

Sephora Formula X "Boiling Point"
Hello everyone and happy Saturday! The sun is shining at my house so I decided to break out a glitter and pretend the groundhog didn't call for six more weeks of Winter yesterday! So here is today's nail polish: Sephora Formula X's "Boiling Point." Sephora Formula X was a brand sold only at Sephora stores which has now been retired.
"Boiling Point" is a a chunky gold glitter in a clear base. The formula of this nail polish was surprisingly thick, but that worked in its favor and made it a full coverage glitter. After two coats, "Boiling Point" was actually nearly opaque and had no visible streak marks. Since this polish was a glitter I decided to test it out over some creme polishes.
The first polish I decided to test with "Boiling Point" was OPI's "Thank Glogg It's Friday." This combination was stunning and perfect for Winter and Christmastime! I love this combination and plan to wear it again.
The second polish I decided to try out with "Boiling Point" was Ciaté's "Beach Bum." This combination turned out classy and very delicate. I absolutely adore this look and plan on wearing it to my next formal event!
The last polish I decided to try out with "Boiling Point" was Essie's "Licorice." This combination was a stunner and a classic gold and black look.
If you want to know more about OPI's "Thank Glogg It's Friday", Ciate's "Beach Bum" or Essie's "Licorice" check out my posts from earlier this year!
Overall I am very impressed with Sephora Formula X's "Boiling Point." This fun glitter wears extremely well and I plan on rocking some chunky glitter manis until the bottle runs out!

Lush Lemony Flutter
Hi all and happy happy Friday! Today's post is actually not nail polish but instead a cuticle care product. So without further ado, today's cuticle care is Lush's Lemony Flutter. Here's how the packaging looks:
Lemony Flutter is a really lovely lemon scented cream that helps tame my Winter cuticles. It has been so dry this year that I really needed the extra help to limit the dry nail beds and Lemony Flutter was the winner! I have used this cuticle cream every day nearly all Winter and my nails and cuticles have never looked better! As an added bonus this product is vegetarian and Lush is cruel free and does not test on animals!
Overall I am absolutely in love with Lush's Lemony Flutter and I will definitely continue to use this product again and again! Also is smells yummy!

Essie "Licorice"
Hello everyone and happy Thursday. It is now the beginning of February and with Winter in full spring and Valentine's Day on the way I couldn't resist this Essie polish. So without further ado, today's nail polish is Essie's "Licorice" which I literally bought because the actress Kate Beckinsale wore it one year to an awards show. (She's my favorite actress!)
"Licorice" is a black creme polish that can literally be worn anytime with anything and look fantastic! The formula of this polish was absolutely perfect and was opaque after a single coat. I did however, apply a second coat because that is how I always apply polish. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Licorice" for four days before I noticed any chips.
Overall I am in love with Essie's "Licorice." Even though black nail polish isn't usually my thing I really want to wear this nail polish all the time!
