Maniology "Shangri-La"
Hi guys and happy Saturday! Who else has started decorating for the holidays? Today's nail polish is Maniology's "Shangri-La" which came in one of their Mani x Me boxes. Here's how this fun stamping polish looks in the bottle:
"Shangri-La" is a gorgeous dusty sage green. The formula of this nail polish was great and it applied nicely to my nails. After two coats "Shangri-La" was completely opaque with no streaks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for five days before I noticed any chips. Look at this pretty up close:
Overall I am really pleased with Maniology's "Shangri-La." Everything about this nail polish is perfect and I plan to wear this polish a lot more often.

OPI "Tinker, Thinker, Winker?"
Hi all and happy Sunday! Sorry for not posting for a few days - I was under the weather and it's only now that I'm starting to feel better. But without further ado, today's nail polish is OPI's "Tinker, Thinker, Winker?" from their Nutcracker Collection. Look at this beauty in the bottle:
"Tinker, Thinker, Winker?" is a gorgeous silver micro glitter in a clear base. The formula is this polish was wonderful and it applied very easily to my nails. After three coats I was pleasantly surprised to find that "Tinker, Thinker, Winker?" was pretty much opaque on my nails. (Though I was keen to try it out as a top coat!) As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for four days before I had a couple of minor tip chips.
The first nail polish I decided to try out with "Tinker, Thinker, Winker?" was Essie's "Go Overboard." This combination turned out to e very pretty and I would definitely wear it again! Here's how "Tinker, Thinker, Winker?" looked up close:
Overall I am thrilled with OPI's "Tinker, Thinker, Winker?" Everything about this nail polish is perfect and it is absolutely stunning on the nail! I cannot wait to wear this polish again and again! Plus I think it can be worn year-round.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Iris Illusion"
Hello everyone and happy happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Iris Illusion." Here's how this purple looks in the bottle:
"Iris Illusion" is a pretty shimmery purple. The formula of this nail polish is nice and applied well to my nails. I was a bit disappointed that "Iris Illusion" turned out to be very sheer. It is definitely best worn as a top coat over a creme polish, which I will do in the future. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for five days before I noticed a couple of chips. Here's how shimmery it is up close:
Overall I like Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Iris Illusion." The color is very pretty and wearing it alone made for a very demure look. I do plan to keep this nail polish and wear it over some creme polishes soon!

Mani x Me September 2019 Box
Hi all and happy Sunday! Today's nail polish is actually Mani x Me September 2019's box, which is Halloween themed! (I'm super late posting these boxes because I have been having issues with my knee which have been taking up a majority of my time.) Each box comes with two stamping plates, two nail polishes and a surprise extra treat! Here are this month's polishes:
"Love Potion" and "Black Magick"
This month's nail polishes are "Love Potion" a lovely pastel pink and "Black Magick" a black with silver shimmer. Both are fun for Halloween but I can't wait to pull "Love Potion" out for some Valentine's Day nails next year.
The first stamping plate is MXM015 which features several full Halloween nail patterns:
The second stamping plate is MXM016 which has the phases of the moon and several witchy designs. This plate is one of my favorites:
This month's extra is a nail design brush that can be used for touch ups. It has a sparkly handle:
Overall I am thrilled with this month's Mani x Me Box. It is a nice treat to get the package every month and be able to enjoy new nail polishes and plates!

"Coconut" is an off-white creme stamping nail polish. The formula of "Coconut" was slightly thick but it applied quite easily to my nails. After two coats, this nail polish was fully opaque and streak free. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Coconut" for five full days before I noticed any chips. Look at this pretty up close:
Overall I am thrilled with Maniology's "Coconut." I am not usually one for neutral polishes but "Coconut" looks so nice with my skin tone and can be used in an endless variety of nail art designs! I can't wait to wear it again soon!

Live Love Polish "Luna"
Hi all and happy Thursday! This week has been brutally long - and we still have Friday to go! So to honor how dark and miserably this week has been here's a black nail polish. So without further ado, roday's nail polish is Live Love Polish's "Luna." Here's how this beauty looks in the bottle:
"Luna" is a stunning back with silver shimmer that unsurprisingly looks like the night sky. The formula of this nail polish was perfect and it applied so nicely to my nails. After two coats "Luna" was fully opaque and had no streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Luna" for five full days before I had a couple of tiny tip chips. Look at this stunner:
Overall I am in love with Live Love Polish's "Luna." Everything about this nail polish is perfect and it is a great Winter color (though I'll likely wear it all year long!)

Bundle Monster Color "Clarissa Blue"
Hello guys and happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is Bundle Monster Color's "Clarissa Blue." (Bundle Monster has rebranded and is now Maniology.). Here's how this nail polish looks in the bottle:
"Clarissa Blue" is a pretty periwinkle creme stamping nail polish. The formula of this polish was nice and applied easily to my nails. After two coat, "Clarissa Blue" was nearly opaque but did have several streak marks. That being said "Clarissa Blue" stamps really well on to my nails, which is what I mainly use it for. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Clarissa Blue" for two days before I noticed a couple of tip chips. Here's how "Clarissa Blue" up close:
Overall I like Bundle Monster Color's "Clarissa Blue." The color and how it looks in stamped designs is lovely, but I probably won't wear it as a stand alone nail polish. "Clarissa Blue" will be staying in my collection for a long time to come.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Daisy Dukes"
Hi all ad happy Sunday! It is cold outside but sunny so here's a happy yellow to brighten this Autumn day! So without further ado, today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Daisy Dukes." Here's how this Summery polish looks in the bottle:
"Daisy Dukes" is a bright yellow creme. The formula of this polish was interesting - either there was too much on the brush and it flooded my nails or I couldn't get the polish off the brush leaving streak marks. After two coats "Daisy Dukes" was mostly opaque and only had minimal streak marks. (Honestly a third coat may solve that problem.) As for chipping, I was able to wear "Daisy Dukes" for thee days before I had some tip chips. Here's how this happy yellow looks up close:
Overall I have mixed feelings about Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Daisy Dukes." I absolutely love the color but the formula is a drag. I'll probably keep this nail polish and give it a few more goes before I decide if it stays in my collection or not.

China Glaze "Don't Let The Dead Bite"
Hello all and happy Saturday! So without further ado, today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Don't Let The Dead Bite" which has a fun Halloween theme! Here's how this unique polish looks in the bottle:
"Don't Let The Dead Bite" is a cool pastel pink crelly with red chunky glitter mixed in. The formula was slightly watery but that actually made it easier to apply the glitter on my nails! After two coats the polish was not quite opaque but it was pretty close. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Don't Let the Dead Bite" for three days before I had some tip wear. Here's how this unique nail polish looked on my nails:
Overall I like China Glaze's "Don't Let The Dead Bite." This is a fun polish that is great for Halloween or when you want a unique and different look. I plan to keep this nail polish for some special occasions/events in the future but it won't get worn very often.

OPI "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"
Hey everyone and happy Wednesday! We're halfway to the weekend again! (Who else is excited?) Today's nail polish is OPI's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" which was from an old James Bond collection. Here's how this polish looks in the bottle:
"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is a stunning black nail polish with silver, pink and green shimmer, The formula of this polish was slightly watery but applied well in nice thin coats. After three thin coats "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" was completely opaque and streak free. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" for three days before there was a bit of tip wear. Look at this gorgeous shimmer up close:
Overall I am happy with OPI's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." Everything about this nail polish is lovely and just adore the shimmer! I can't wait to wear this nail polish again - more specifically I think it'll be perfect for my Halloween costume!

Color Club "Rain, Rain Go Away"
Hello all and happy Sunday! Here in the United States we got an extra hour of sleep last night after changing the clocks. (Best way to spend the weekend!) Today's nail polish is Color Club's "Rain, Rain Go Away" which is from their water colors collection. Here's how this color looks in the bottle:
"Rain, Rain Go Away" is a lovely Summer sky blue! The formula of "Rain, Rain Go Away" was very thick. The polish applied fairly well to my nails but definitely not the best. After two coats "Rain, Rain Go Away" was opaque but did have several visible streak marks. In terms go chipping, I was able to wear "Rain, Rain Go Away" for about a day and a half before there were lots of dents, nicks and chips. Here's how the sky blue looked up close:
Overall I wanted to love Color Club's "Rain, Rain Go Away" but the thick formula was a bit of a turn off. I do adore the color but I have several similar ones in my collection, so I likely won't be keeping this polish for much longer.

Dupes: OPI "Tile Art To Warm Your Heart" and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Pacific Blue"
Hi everyone and happy Saturday! Today's nail polish is actually a comparison between OPI's "Tile Art To Warm Your Heart" and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Pacific Blue." Here's how they stacked up to each other in the bottle:
OPI's "Tile Art To Warm Your Heart" and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Pacific Blue."
As you can see they look nearly identical in the bottle. On the nail however there are some noticeable differences - most notably Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Pacific Blue" was a richer blue. Otherwise both are great nail polishes and it would be nearly impossible to pick a favorite. Here's how they looked up close:
If you want to know more about OPI's "Tile Art To Warm Your Heart" or Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Pacific Blue" check out some of my previous posts.
Overall I really love both of these nail polishes and the color is stunning. While not fully identically you probably don't need both in your collection - however both are very fantastic so I can't pick just one. Which means I'll be keeping both!

Jack-o-latern Nails
Hello guys and Happy (day after) Halloween! I hope everyone had a fun spooky evening of candy and costumes! To celebrate the season I decided to do some freehand jack-o-lantern nail art. Before I began I needed to selected the nail polishes:
OPI's "It's A Piazza Cake" and Live Love Polish's "Luna."
The first part of the design was easy - a nice pumpkin orange base coat. For this I used OPI's "It's A Piazza Cake" which is the perfect Autumnal orange! After two coats my nails looked like this:
The final part of the design was the jack-o-lantern faces. I genuinely enjoy carving pumpkins so this was absolutely fun to create some silly faces on my nails! To create the faces I used Live Love Polish's "Luna." The final look was adorable especially up close:
If you want to know more about OPI's "It's A Piazza Cake" check out my previous post!
Overall I really like how this design turned out. It is pretty simple and nothing fancy but it is a nice design for Halloween 2019.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "VIP Pink"
Hey guys and happy Friday! Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "VIP Pink." I've had this polish in my collection for literally a decade - which makes it one of my oldest nail polishes. Here's how "VIP Pink" looks up close:
"VIP Pink" is a pink micro glitter in a clear base. The formula of this polish is slightly watery but easy enough to apply. After two coats "VIP Pink" was not opaque but it had not streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for two days before it began to chip. Look at this glitter up close:
Overall I really like Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "VIP Pink." This pink shimmery polish is pretty but I would love for it to be more opaque. I will probably keep "VIP Pink" in my collection as a top coat, but not to wear solo.
