Wet N' Wild Shine "Lavender Pearlescent"
Hello all and happy happy Sunday! Has Spring arrived where you live? Without further ado, today's nail polish is Wet N' Wild's "Lavender Pearlescent." Here's how it looks in the bottle:
"Lavender Pearlescent" is weirdly enough a baby pink with shimmer instead of a lavender color. The formula of this nail polish is nice and it applied on my nail without any issue. After two coats "Lavender Pearlescent" was opaque with a few streak marks from shimmer. As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three or four days before there were some small chips. Look at this pearly shimmer:
Overall I quite like Wet N' Wild's "Lavender Pearlescent." Everything about this nail polish is lovely which is fabulous for an affordable drugstore brand. I plan on keeping this color around in my collection for a long while.

Pahlish "Nine & Three Quarters"
Hey all and happy first weekend of Spring! The sun is shining and it couldn't be prettier out! Today's nail polish is Pahlish's "Nine & Three Quarters" which is part of their Harry Potter collection. Pahlish is a lovely indie brand that I have been dying to try for a while now. So when they released some Harry Potter nail polishes I couldn't resist ordering them! Here's how "Nine & Three Quarters" looks in the bottle:
"One & Three Quarters" is a really pretty dark blue polish with iridescent flakies! The formula of this polish was the tiniest bit thick but that helped it apply nicely to my nail with an even layer of flakies! After only one coat "Nine & Three Quarters" was entirely opaque and streak free. That being said, I did apply a second coat to test out wear time. As for chipping, I was able tower this nail polish for five full days before I noticed some minor tip wear. Can you see how gorgeous the flakes are!?
Overall I am really pleased with Pahlish's "Nine & Three Quarters." Everything about this nail polish is perfect and I am thrilled to add this brand of polish to my collection! I highly recommend giving this indie brand a try if you haven't already! (I know I'll be back for more of their polish!)
If you want to see how I used "Nine & Three Quarters" in some Night Sky Nail Art check out my post from earlier this year!

Zoya "Adina"
Hi guys and happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is Zoya's "Adina" which is perfect for the transition from Winter to Spring! (It finally looks like Spring is making its way to North Carolina so hopefully this nail polish just helps it along!)
"Adina" is a gorgeous purple and green shifting nail polish. The formula of "Adina" was slightly thick though nothing that couldn't be worked with. After two coats, the nail polish was fully opaque and only had one or two streak marks from the shimmer. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Adina" for five days before there were a few tip chips. Look how pretty this is up close:
Overall I am really pleased with Zoya's "Adina." Everything about this nail polish is fun and happy and I cannot wait to wear it throughout the Springtime season!

Baseball Nails
Hello everyone and happy Monday! The sunshine was out and it finally feels like Spring - which can only mean one thing: BASEBALL! So today's nail polish is actually some fun and simple baseball nail art to celebrate! First I needed to pick out some polishes:
Disney for Target's "White" and China Glaze's "Hey Sailor."
In case you haven't seen a baseball here's a picture from Google Images to give you an idea:
To start off the design I applied three coats of Disney for Target's "White." My nails looked like this:
After that I used some nail art tools and China Glaze's "Hey Sailor" to draw on the design. I used some of my tools from Amazon - just a basic set of dotting tools and brushes. Then my nails looked like this:
If you want to know more about Disney for Target's "White" or China Glaze's "Hey Sailor" check out some of my previous posts!
Overall I really like how these simple nails. I grew up watching and playing baseball so these are very nostalgic to me.

Bundle Monster Color "So Metal"
Hello guys and happy St. Patrick's Day! (I totally forgot to wear Greene or do any themed nail art!) So today's nail polish is Bundle Monster Color's "So Metal." Bundle Monster has re-branded as Maniology but they still do nail polish and nail art items! Here's how "So Metal" looks in the bottle:
"So Metal" is not shockingly a silver shimmer which can be used as a stamping polish. The formula is horribly thick - which can be fine for stamping but does not go well for wearing as a stand alone nail polish. The photo above shows two coats and you can clearly see streaks and it was weird and lumpy. I think the main issue is I've had this nail polish for a while and it has gone thick and bad. Since "So Metal" looked horrible on my nails I wasn't able to wear it for more than a photo. But you can see the shimmer up close in the bottle:
Overall I'm a bit crushed by Bundle Monster Color's "So Metal." I have tried this nail polish for stamping and it has worked fairly well but lately the polish has gone thick and I can barely get it out of the bottle. I am undecided if I'll keep "So Metal" around or if I'll look for a new silver nail polish to stamp with.

Mani x Me March Box
Each month the Mani x Me box includes two nail polishes, two stamping plates, a surprise/specialty item and some delicious gummy candies! This month's nail polishes are "Coconut" a lovely creamy white and "Hibiscus" a bright and cheerful coral. They look like this:
"Coconut" and "Hibiscus"
This month both of the stamping plates feature flowers and a variety of birds. They are lovely and tropical! The first one is MXM005 which has leaves and flowers:
The second one is MXM006 which has mostly birds and a few flowers:
The last item in the box this month was the specialty item - which is Sulfur's Salve. Surfers Salve can be used on cuticles or to soothe sunburns, dry skin, bug bites and chapped lips. It smells of lavender and so far has worked wonders on my Winter chapped lips! It has an adorable package too:
Overall I am once again thrilled with Maniology's Mani x Me box! I am in love with all the items and I continue to look forward to receiving a new one each month! It really is a great way to build a stamping polish and plate collection!

Orly "Macabre Masquerade"
Hey everyone and happy Thursday! (Which is my Friday this week as I am taking a long weekend!) Today's nail polish is Orly's "Macabre Masquerade" which is stunning and looks like this in the bottle:
"Macabre Masquerade" is a lovely royal blue polish with rainbow colors micro glitter in it. The formula of this polish was great and it applied with ease. After two coats, "Macabre Masquerade" was entirely opaque and streak free. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for four full days before I noticed a couple of tip chips, which is pretty good for a glittery polish.
Overall I am quite pleased with Orly's "Macabre Masquerade." Everything about this polish is lovely and I think it can be a great year round color to wear!

Ciaté "Prima Ballerina"
Hello all and happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is Ciaté's "Prima Ballerina" from their 2015 Advent Calendar. (Oddly enough they had a loose glitter in a different year's advent calendar set with the same name.) Here's how this polish looks in the bottle:
"Prima Ballerina" is a beige-grey creme. The formula of this polish was nice and applied very easily to my nails. After tow coats "Prima Ballerina" was almost entirely opaque sans one or two streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Prima Ballerina" for five days before there were tome tip chips. Look at this unique color up close on my nails:
Overall Ciaté's "Prima Ballerina" is a really nice nail polish. Everything about this nail polish is really lovely and perfect for the business world I live in Monday through Friday. As much as I prefer brighter polishes "Prima Ballerina" will be sticking around for the work week.

A England "The Most Happy"
Hey guys and happy Sunday! (The weekend has flown by!) Today's nail polish is A England's "The Most Happy" from their Tudoresque Collection. The collection is themed around British Monarch - King Henry VIII. As an avid history nerd I had to buy the entire collection when it came out last year. Here's how "The Most Happy" looks in the bottle:
"The Most Happy" is an absolutely gorgeous royal purple with a silver shimmer. The formula of this nail polish was perfect and applied easily. After only a single coat "The Most Happy" was completely opaque and streak free. That being said I did apply a second coat for photos and to test the wear time. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "The Most Happy" for six full days before my nails had a few tip chips. Look at that shimmer up close:
Overall I am thrilled with A England's "The Most Happy." This is one of the nicest purple nail polishes I have in my collection and I wear it regularly! Until the bottle runs dry I'll be wearing "The Most Happy" all year long as one of my go to polishes.

ULTA "Vintage Violet"
Hey everyone and happy Saturday! (Who else plans to lounge about all weekend?) Today's nail polish is ULTA's "Vintage Violet" which is part of their in house brand. Look how pretty this purple looks in the bottle:
"Vintage Violet" is a really unique pastel violet that is actually quite bright on the nail. The formula of this nail polish is really nice and it applied easily to my nails. After two coats, "Vintage Violet" was completely opaque and had no streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Vintage Violet" for three or four days before I had some tip wear. Look how nice this polish is:
Overall I am happy with ULTA's "Vintage Violet." The color is super gorgeous and it looks great with my skin tone! I definitely plan on wearing this nail polish throughout Spring and Summer this year!

Sephora Formula X "Nightingale"
Hi everyone and welcome to the weekend! Today's nail polish is Sephora Formula X's "Nightingale." This brand was sold exclusively at Sephora stores but was retired several years ago in favor of higher end nail polishes. Here's how it looks int he bottle:
"Nightingale" is a lovely deep plum colored polish. The formula of "Nightingale" was fabulous and applied with no problems at all. After only a single coat the nail polish was fully opaque and streak free. However I did apply a second coat to test the wear time. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Nightingale" for five days before I noticed any chips. Look how lovely this Winter color is on my nails:
Overall I am very happy with Sephora Formula X's "Nightingale." There is nothing bad about this nail polish other than Sephora no longer carries this brand! I plan on wearing this polish a lot more often, but especially in Autumn and Winter.

Le Mini Macaron Hand Mask
Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! Today's nail polish is actually some good old nail care! (Because my cuticles are dry and sad from a long hard Winter!) I've decided to treat my hands to a Le Mini Macaron Hand Mask in Jasmine Green Tea. Here's how their adorable packing looks:
The idea is simple - open the package, apply the gloves and wear them for fifteen minutes. Before I tried the gloves I snapped this photos of my nails before:
And here's how the gloves looked while on my hands:
The smell was wonderful! It was a great scent for Springtime (which hasn't quite arrived but I can pretend.) After wearing the gloves for fifteen minutes I removed them and gently rubbed the rest of the oil into my hands and cuticles. My nails felt very refreshed and happy. They looked all shiny and gorgeous:
Overall I am really pleased with Le Mini Macaron's Jasmine Green Tea hand mask. I've been pleased with every one of the masks Ive tried so far and cannot wait to buy some more!

Constellation Nail Art
Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today's nail polish is actually some fun nail art! I have finally gotten around to testing out Maniology's M001 plate which came as part of the January Mani x Me subscription box. Plate M001 looks like this:
Before I could begin stamping I needed to pick out my nail polishes. So I dug around my collection and settled on Pahlish's "Nine & Three Quarters," Ciaté's "Celestial" and Maniology's "Spiced Orange." The bottles looked like this:
Pahlish's "Nine & Three Quarters," Ciate's "Celestial" and Maniology's "Spiced Orange."
First I used two coats of Pahlish's "Nine & Three Quarters" which looked like this on the nail:
This was followed by a coat of Ciaté's Celestial." This created such a pretty look:
All that was left was to stamp the design on. But before stamping I applied Live Love Polish's Cuticle Protector to take clean-up easier! After that I stamped away using Maniology's "Spiced Orange." The looked turned out so pretty!
Overall I am really pleased with how this look turned out. I wanted to include some of the astrological symbols but had difficulty picking the design up. (Any tips welcome!) However that being said I really love this plate and I can't wait to try another design with it!
If you want to know more about Live Love Polish's Precision Peel Cuticle Protector check out my post from last month!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Blue Bloom"
Hey all and happy happy Fri-YAY! (I've never been more glad to reach the end of the work week!) Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Blue Bloom" which looks like this in the bottle:
"Blue Bloom" is a really pretty royal blue with a holo-like glitter in it. The formula of this nail polish was good and applied easily to my nails. After two coats the nail polish was not fully opaque but there were not streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Blue Bloom" for three days before there were some chips. Look at the holo glitter up close:
"Blue Blooms" looked like the perfect candidate to try as a top coat - so that's just what I did! Here's how "Blue Blooms" looked over Essie's "Blue-tiful Horizon":
If you want to know more about Essie's "Blue-tiful Horizon" check out my post from earlier this year!
Overall I like how pretty Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Blue Bloom" is but I wish it could be worn alone instead of just as a topper. However that won't keep me from using this nail polish in some future nail art and keeping it in my collection!
