Sinful Colors "Kool As A Kukumber"
Hi everyone! I can't believe that April is almost over ad that this time tomorrow I'll be sitting beach side! We're halfway through Spring and before we know it Summer will be here! Today's nail polish is Sinful Colors "Kool As A Kukumber" from the Kardashian collection.
"Kool As A Kukumber" is a gorgeous mint green polish with iridescent shimmer. Formula wise this nail polish is great and it was very easy to apply. After two coats (or is that koats), "Kool As A Kukumber" was entirely opaque and only had one or two small streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was ale to wear this nail polish for four days before it began to chip.
Overall I am very pleased with Sinful Colors "Kool As A Kukumber," Everything about this nail polish is wonderful and I can't wait to wear it again soon!

OPI "Lincoln Park After Dark"
Hi all! It's almost the weekend, hooray! Today's nail polish is OPI's "Lincoln Park After Dark" which I got as part of a trio called Feeling Berry Fine. This trio was sold on Black Friday 2015 at ULTA and looks like this:
"Lincoln Park After Dark" is a gorgeous deep purple polish that looks almost black on the nail. Formula wise this polish was a bit thick but as long as I kept the brush full of polish instead of wiping some off it applied easily. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Lincoln Park After Dark" for six days before there were some noticeable tip chips.
Overall I like OPI's "Lincoln Park After Dark." Aside from the slight difficulty in applying this polish everything was great. I can't wait to wear this nail polish again soon!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Tan Lime"
Hi everyone! The ran finally stopped this afternoon, and I am hopeful that the sun will come out tomorrow! (Otherwise it'll be a long Wednesday!) Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Tan Lime."
"Tan Lime" is a bright neon grass green nail polish. Formula wise this polish was good and went on my nails easily. After two coats, "Tan Lime" was not opaque and you could see my nail bed. However there were no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was only able to wear "Tan Lime" for two days before it began to flake off.
Overall I am not a fan of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Tan Lime." The color is fun and bright but it was disappointing that the polish was not opaque and that is chipped so easily. I'm undecided if I would try this polish again or not.

Ciaté "Dallas Dolly"
Hi guys and happy Sunday! Today's nail polish is actually not a nail polish but a glitter topper. So without further ado here is Ciaté's "Dallas Dolly." This polish was part of Ciaté's annual Advent Calendar from 2013 that looks like this:
"Dallas Dolly" is a red, gold and green loose glitter. The red and gold glitter is hexagonal while the green is bar glitter. Since this is a loose glitter I decided to test it out over some opaque polishes. Here's how it turned out:
The first polish I decided to try out with "Dallas Dolly" was Sally Hasnen Xtreme Wear's "Blizzard Blue." This combination was fun and would be good for Christmas!
The second polish I decided to try out with "Dallas Dolly" was Sally Hansen Triple Shine's "Ice Tint." This polish is a jelly so I applied three coats of "Ice Tint" when a layer of "Dallas Dolly" followed by two more coats of "Ice Tint." This created a unique look, which I'm not sure I'd wear too often. But it was fun to test out!
If you want to know more about Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Blizzard Blue" or Sally Hansen Triple Shine's "Ice Tint" check out my posts from earlier this year!
Overall Ciaté's "Dallas Dolly" is unique and different, however loose glitter isn't really my favorite thing. I probably won't use this glitter again any time soon.

Candie's "Orange Pop"
Hi guys and happy happy Friday! To celebrate the weekend I pulled out an orange colored polish since I almost never wear orange polish! So without further ado, today's nail polish is Candie's "Orange Pop."
"Orange Pop" is a very pretty creamsicle colored orange. It's the perfect pastel orange for Springtime! Formula wise this polish was slightly watery but it was not too difficult to apply. After two coats, "Orange Pop" was completely opaque but did have a few streak marks. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for two days before it began to chip off.
Overall I have mixed feelings on Candie's "Orange Pop." The color is this polish is fantastic but the formula and how easily it chipped were a bit disappointing. However I would be willing to try this nail polish again because I don't have another polish like it in my collection.

Orly Color Blast "Free Spirit"
Hi guys and happy Wednesday! Today's nail polish is Orly Color Blast's "Free Spirit." I got this polish in a set called Elsa: Sister Duo as part of their Frozen collection from Disney's hit movie. The set looks like this:
"Free Spirit" is a hot pink polish that is perfect for the warmer weather! Formula wise this nail polish was great and very easy to apply. After two coats, "Free Spirit" was entirely opaque and streak free. As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for five days before there were a couple of small chips.
Overall I really like Orly Color Blast's "Free Spirit." Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I can't wait to wear it again soon!

China Glaze "Boho Blues"
Hi everyone! Another Monday has come along, but we've survived! (I've already started counting down to the weekend again!) Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Boho Blues."
"Boho Blues" is a gorgeous light periwinkle blue that reminds me of Easter. Formula wise this nail polish was perfect and super easy to apply! After two coats, "Boho Blues" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Boho Blues" for a full seven days before my nails grew out and I had to repaint them!
Overall I am very pleased by China Glaze's "Boho Blues." This nail polish is perfect from its color to its long lasting wear. I will definitely be wearing this nail polish a lot this Spring and Summer!

Nail Art: Glitter Water Marble Nails
Hi guys and Happy Easter! I love looking at people's water marbles on Instagram and Pinterest but my past attempts at trying it have all failed. And frankly, I don't think these were perfect but to date this is my best attempt. I started with a base coat and then used two other polishes to marble with. Here are the polishes I selected:
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "White On", China Glaze "Fairy Dust" and Essie "DJ On Board".
I started with two coats of Essie's "DJ On Board" which is a fun neon purple. I then used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "White On" and China Glaze's "Fairy Dust" to marble with. (If you are curious how to water marble I suggest searching YouTube and Instagram where some awesome people - who are better than me - can explain how to do it.) I struggled this time with the nail polish not spreading out on the water and some sinking straight to the bottom of the cup. I don't think I used the correct type of water but tap water was all I had.
Overall I think these nails turned out pretty well, though I wish I could get the hang of water marbling because it is such a gorgeous look when it is done correctly.

April Dupe Post: Zoya "Tiana" and OPI "That's Hula-rious"
Hello everyone and happy happy Saturday! Today's nail polish is actually, two nail polishes because I am comparing Zoya's "Tiana" and OPI's "That's Hula-rious." As you can see in the picture below, both polishes look identical in the bottles.
"Tiana" and "That's Hula-rious" are both gorgeous pastel green polishes that are perfect for Springtime. I applied two coats of "Tiana" on my ring and pointer finger and two coats of "That's Hula-rious" to my pinky and middle finger. As you can see they are perfectly identical to each other on my nails.
If you want to know more about Zoya's "Tiana" or OPI's "That's Hula-rious" be sure to check out my posts from previous years.
Overall I love the gorgeous color of these two polishes, but you definitely don't need both in your collection. If I had to pick between the two I would get OPI's "That's Hula-rious" because I found the quality to be better.

Nicole by OPI "Dance Til Fawn"
Hi guys! Today's nail polish is Nicole by OPI's "Dance Til Fawn." I found this nail polish at TJ Maxx (this is an American store that sells name brand items at a discount) and it is actually mislabeled. "Dance Til Fawn" is actually a Sephora by OPI color not a Nicole by OPI color. I'm not sure how this happened but here is how the set looks:
"Dance Til Fawn" is a unique grey-ish beige color. Formula wise this polish was good and very easy to apply. After two coats, "Dance Til Fawn" was entirely opaque and streak free. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for four full days before the polish began to chip.
Overall I like Nicole by OPI's "Dance Til Fawn" The color is unique and it wears really well which is always a plus in my book. I will definitely wear this nail polish again and again!

Wet N' Wild "Red Red"
Hi all and happy Tuesday! Who else is already looking forward to the weekend again? Today's nail polish is Wet N' Wild's "Red Red."
"Red Red" is a bright hot red that is perfect for Summer! Formula wise "Red Red" was amazing and went on very well. After only one coat the nail polish was completely opaque and streak free, which always makes me very happy! But as always, I applied two coats for the picture. As for chipping, I was able to wear "Red Red" for five full days before there were some small tip chips.
Overall I am very impressed by Wet N' Wild's "Red Red." Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I will definitely be wearing it again very soon!

Beautifully Disney "Get Tangled Up"
Hi everyone and happy Sunday! Today's nail polish is Beautifully Disney's "Get Tangled Up." Beautifully Disney is a rand that was sold exclusively at Disney World. "Get Tangled Up" is named after Rapunzel from Disney's Tangled. This polish comes from the set called Unlock The Spell that looks like this:
"Get Tangled Up" is a lovely baby pink nail polish. Formula wise this polish is okay but the tiny brush meant it took some patience to apply. After two coats, "Get Tangled Up" was not opaque and had several noticeable streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three days before it started to chip off.
Overall I am a bit disappointed by Beautifully Disney's "Get Tangled Up." The color is nice but the difficulty applying the polish, how streaky it looked on my nails and how quickly it chipped were a let down. I probably won't try this nail polish again as I have other similar ones in my collection that are better.

Sally Hansen Triple Shine "Ice Tint"
Hi everyone! We made it through to another Friday! (Or should I say Fri-YAY!) Unfortuately the weather here in North Carolina took a nose dive and it is cold again, which is why I picked today's polish! So without further ado, today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Triple Shine's "Ice Tint."
"Ice Tint" is a very pretty turquoise color. Formula wise this polish was slightly thick but still easy to apply in nice even coats. And as for chipping, I was able to wear "Ice Tint" for three days before it began to chip. "Ice Tint" is a jelly which means that it is build-able and has a darker more noticeable color the more coats that are added. Here's how "Ice Tint" looked after one coat:
As you can see (or can't see) "Ice Tint" looked almost invisible on my nails after only one coat. So I decided to apply a second coat. Here's how "Ice Tint" looked after two coats:
After two coats, "Ice Tint" was more noticeable on my nails but still not very blue, so I decided to add a third coat. Here's how "Ice Tint" looked with with three coats:
Overall I like Sally Hansen Triple Shine's "Ice Tint." This polish was a lot of fun to play around with because it can be lighter or darker depending on the look I want. I will definitely wear this polish again!

Bonita "Eat, Drink & Be Scary"
Hi everyone and happy Wednesday! We're having an outrageous thunderstorm right now. There is supposed to be hail and high winds later. (None of which I am looking forward too.) So I decided to pull out a fun nail polish for the occasion. Today's nail polish is Bonita's "Eat, Drink & Be Scary."
"Eat, Drink & Be Scary" is a pretty sparkly navy blue nail polish with silver glitter. Formula wise this polish was perfect and applied very well. After only one coat, "Eat, Drink & Be Scary" was completely opaque and streak free, which is fantastic! As usual though, I applied two coats for the picture. In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Eat, Drink & Be Scary" for four days before there were a couple of small tip chips.
Overall I am very happy with Bonita's "Eat, Drink & Be Scary." This polish is great and definitely worth having. I cannot wait to wear it again soon!

OPI "Black Shatter"
Hi everyone! We have survived another Monday, and it was brutal. But the day isn't over yet as the NCAA basketball tournament finals are on right now. (Go Tarheels!) Today's nail polish is a fun top coat by OPI called "Black Shatter."
"Black Shatter" is unique because you apply it like regular nail polish but then a cracked pattern shows up allowing it to be layered on top of a colored polish. Formula wise "Black Shatter" was easy to apply and goes on in only one coat. Seeing as it is a top coat I decided to test it out over some other polishes.
The first polish I decided to try with "Black Shatter" was butter LONDON's "Violet's Revenge" which is a purple colored polish. This combination was fun though "Black Shatter" acted up and did not work as well on two of my fingers.
The second polish I decided to try with "Black Shatter" was Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Mauve Over." This combination was nice and not too bright. I would wear this combination again!
The third polish I decided to test out with "Black Shatter" was China Glaze's "Let's Chalk About It," which is a lovely baby pink. This combination turned out really nicely and created a great contrast. This was by far my favorite combination.
The final polish I decided to try out with "Black Shatter" was Essie's "Clambake." This combination would be perfect for Halloween!
Overall I am very pleased with OPI's "Black Shatter." This fun polish created neat looks without too much effort and went with every colored polish I tried. I will definitely continue to try out "Black Shatter" over other polishes in my collection.
If you want to know more about butterLONDON's "Violet's Revenge", Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Mauve Over", China Glaze's "Let's Chalk About It" or Essie's "Clambake" check out my posts from earlier this year!

Zoya "Elodie"
Hi all and happy April! Even though today is April Fool's Day, there's no joke here! (It's still nail polish and sunshine!) So without further ado, today's nail polish is Zoya's "Elodie." This polish has been on my wish list for quite some time, so I am very excited to try it out!
"Elodie" is a bright, almost neon, coral. Formula wise this polish was great and it went on easily. After two coats, "Elodie" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks. As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for five days before there were a few minor tip chips.
Overall I am very pleased with Zoya's "Elodie." Everything about this nail polish is nice and I can hardly wait to wear it again soon!
