Hi guys! It is hard to believe that it is the end of August! So with the end of Summer approaching I decided to try out a super fun glitter polish! I went with China Glaze's "Fairy Dust" which I have heard a lot of great things about!
Now "Fairy Dust" isn't necessarily a nail polish to wear on its own, but as you can see in the picture above it actually looks nice by itself. (I would wear "Fairy Dust" like this if I just wanted a little bit of shimmer!) But I was also curious how it would look over some other nail polishes, so I picked out a few from my collection and here's how it turned out:
The first nail polish I decided to try "Fairy Dust" on is Essie's "Meet Me At Sunset" which is this gorgeous orange color. The orange and the glitter reminds me of Orange Crush soda! (Which I love!) Here's how it looks:

The second polish I tried out is Claire's "Happy Go Lucky" which is almost a blurple, but has a bit more blue in it. This polish is from Claire's the accessory store and I bought it during a BOGO (Buy One, Get One) sale last January during the after holiday sales. "Happy Go Lucky" and "Fairy Dust" remind me of the night sky! Here's how it looks with China Glaze's "Fairy Dust" on top:

The third nail polish I decided to test out is Orly's "Lemonade" which is a pale lemon yellow crème. "Lemonade" is a wonderful Spring and Summer color and I was curious to know glitter would look over a pastel, and it looked okay but it wasn't my favorite. Here's how it turned out:

The forth polish I decided to try out is Essence's "Let's Get Lost" which is a bright turquoise color. I tend to love blue nail polishes with glitter as they remind me of the sun shining off of the ocean or a swimming pool! Here's how it turned out:

The fifth, and last, polish I tested out is Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in "Coral Reef." "Coral Reef" is a super bright, almost neon, coral colored nail polish. I wanted to see how China Glaze's "Fairy Dust" looks over a bright nail polish and here's how it turned out:

I really like China Glaze's "Fairy Dust" and cannot pick a favorite look from this post! I will definitely be using "Fairy Dust" more often! And on the plus side while my job doesn't like extreme glitter nails, "Fairy Dust" has enough glitter to be fun but not enough to be banned from work!
Thanks for reading my blog! :)
