Zoya "Lara"

Hi everyone and Happy Halloween!!  It is officially the last post of October, which means one final pink nail polish to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Zoya's "Lara."

"Lara" is a pretty hot pink nail polish.  The formula of "Lara" was wonderful and very easy to apply! After two coats, the polish was opaque and had absolutely no visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Lara" for five days before there were a few tiny tip chips.

Overall I really love Zoya's "Lara" and it was the perfect way to wrap up Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  I will definitely be wearing this gorgeous polish a lot more often!

OPI "Got Myself Into A Jam-balaya"

Hi guys and happy Sunday!  This is the second to last pink nail polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's nail polish is OPI "Got Myself Into A Jam-balaya."  This polish is part of a New Orleans mini set that looks like this:

"Got Myself Into A Jam-balaya" is a bright coral colored polish.  Formula wise this polish was a little bit of a struggle.  After two coats, "Got Myself Into A Jam-balaya" was not completely opaque and did have several streak marks.  In terms of chipping, this nail polish lasted for about three days before it began to flake off.

Overall OPI's "Got Myself Into A Jam-balaya" is not my favorite polish.  The color is pretty but the formula and application was not as good as I am used to with OPI.  However I am willing to give this polish another chance.

Essie "Peach Daiquiri"

Hi guys and happy Saturday!  Who else is excited for Halloween next week?  October is nearly over but until then here is another pink polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's nail polish is Essie's "Peach Daiquiri."

"Peach Daiquiri" is hot coral pink polish.  Formula wise this polish was fair but slightly on the watery side but as long as I wiped the brush on the bottle edge first it applied pretty well.  After two coats, "Peach Daiquiri" was entirely opaque and had no streak marks  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for five days before I noticed any top chips or wear.

Overall I really like Essie's "Peach Daiquiri."  It is an absolutely stunning color that looks great with my skin tone.  I will definitely be wearing this polish again when Spring and Summer roll back around!

China Glaze "Shut The Front Door"

Hello friends and happy Friday!  October is nearly to the end, but I have a few more pink polishes left in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Shut The Front Door" which is part of a set called Roommates.  The set looks like this:

"Shut The Front Door" is a gorgeous pink glitter polish.  Formula wise this nail polish was great and applied on my nails with ease!  After two coats, "Shut The Front Door" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks..  As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for six full days before my nails started to grow out and the polish needed to be changed.

Overall I absolutely adore China Glaze's "Shut The Front Door."  There is absolutely nothing wrong with this polish and I will be wearing it a lot more often!  It is also an adorable color!

Nocibé "Talenteuse"

Hello all and happy Wednesday!  October continues to roll by which means more pink (kind of) nail polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's nail polish is Nocibé's "Talenteuse" which I bought in Rouen, France in 2015.  (And I'd love to back in France right now if I could!)

"Talenteuse" is actually not pink (my bad but I was running out of pink nail polishes) - instead it is a nice fuchsia and purple.  Formula wise this nail polish was fantastic and very easy to apply.  After only coat, "Talenteuse" was completely opaque and streak free.  However I added a second coat for the photo because I always do.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Talenteuse" for five full days before there were any noticeable chips.

Overall I am really pleased with Nocibé's "Talenteuse."  Everything about this nail polish is perfect and I cannot wait to wear it again soon!  I also wish I could get my hands on more polishes by Nocibé!

October Nail Art: Striped Mani

Hello all and happy Tuesday!  October continues which means more pink nails to honor Breast Cancer Awareness.  But today I thought I would create some simple striped nails with pink polish!

Here are the polishes I used to create this look:

Salon Perfect's "In Love", Essie's "Van D'Go" and Sephora by OPI's "Looks Like Rain, Dear."

To create these nails I first used two coats of Salon Perfect's "In Love" and my nails looked like this:

Next I applied the pastel pink stripe of Essie's "Van D'Go" and my nails looked like this:

Finally I finished off the nails with the thin gold glitter of Sephora by OPI's "Looks Like Rain, Dear."

Overall I really like how well this nail art turned out.  It looked really nice on my nails and was very fast and easy to do!  I can't to wear this nail art look again soon - and to try it out with some other colors as well!

If you want to know more about Salon Perfect's "In Love" or Essie's "Van D'Go" check out my posts from earlier this month!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "With The Beet"

Hi everyone and happy Monday!  October may be nearly over but there are still a few more pink (kind of) polishes left to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "With The Beet."

"With The Beet" is a dark berry colored polish.  Formula wise this nail polish was slightly watery but as long as I wiped the brush thoroughly it applied well.  After two coats, "With The Beet" was opaque and had no visible streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for four days before I noticed any chips.  And as an added bonus "With The Beet" did not stain my nails.

Overall I quite like Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "With The Beet."  This polish is perfect for Autumn and the only thing I'd change is the slightly watery formula.  I can't wait to wear this nail polish again too!
