A England "Anne Of Cleves"

Hey all and happy Sunday!  Who else has had a nice weekend?!  Today's nail polish is A England's "Anne of Cleves" which is part of their Tudoresque collection.  Here's how "Anne of Cleves" looks in the bottle:

"Anne of Cleves" is a gorgeous dusty pink shimmer.  The formula of this nail polish was amazing, as always, and applied nicely to my nails.  After two coats "Anne of Cleves" was entirely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  Look at this gorgeous shimmery glitter up close:

Overall I am in love with A England's "Anne of Cleves."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish is perfect and I plan to wear it all Spring long!

A England "Katherine Parr"

Hey everyone and happy Wednesday!  (Halfway to the weekend again!)  Today's nail polish is A England's "Katherine Parr" - named after on elf the wives of King Henry VIII.  A England released a collection a while back featuring all six of Henry's wives and as a history buff I knew I needed the entire collection!  Here's how this pretty looks in the bottle:

"Katherine Parr" is a gorgeous royal blue with blue and silver micro-glitter.  The formula of this polish is perfect and it applied nicely to my nails.  After two coats "Katherine Parr" was entirely opaque and has no visible streaks.  Look at this absolutely stunner up close:

Overall I am in love with A England's "Katherine Parr."  Absolutely everything about this polish brings me joy, which is great because I plan to wear it all year long!

A England "Jane Seymour"

Hello everyone and happy almost Friday.  Today's nail polish is A England's "Jane Seymour" from their Tudoresque Collection.  I am a sucker for British history - so I couldn't resist this collection when it came out a few years ago.  Here's how "Jane Seymour" looks in the bottle:

"Jane Seymour" is a really pretty black with green and yellow shimmer.  The formula of this nail polish was perfect and applied nicely to my nails.  After a single coat "Jane Seymour" was opaque - though I applied a second coat for the photos.  Here's how this beauty looked up close:

Overall I am thrilled with A England's "Jane Seymour."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish was perfect and it looked great on my nails!  I cannot wait to rock this polish again soon.

A England "The Most Happy"

Hey guys and happy Sunday!  (The weekend has flown by!)  Today's nail polish is A England's "The Most Happy" from their Tudoresque Collection.  The collection is themed around British Monarch - King Henry VIII.  As an avid history nerd I had to buy the entire collection when it came out last year.  Here's how "The Most Happy" looks in the bottle:

"The Most Happy" is an absolutely gorgeous royal purple with a silver shimmer.  The formula of this nail polish was perfect and applied easily.  After only a single coat "The Most Happy" was completely opaque and streak free.  That being said I did apply a second coat for photos and to test the wear time.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "The Most Happy" for six full days before my nails had a few tip chips.  Look at that shimmer up close:

Overall I am thrilled with A England's "The Most Happy."  This is one of the nicest purple nail polishes I have in my collection and I wear it regularly!  Until the bottle runs dry I'll be wearing "The Most Happy" all year long as one of my go to polishes.

A England "Briar Rose"

Hi guys and hello weekend!  Anyone else excited for the end of the week?  Today's nail polish is A England's "Briar Rose" which is obviously an ode to Sleeping Beauty.  Here's how it looks in the bottle:

"Briar Rose" is a lovely red polish with a golden shimmer.  The formula of "Briar Rose" was amazing and applied with ease.  After a single coat this nail polish was fully opaque with no visible streak marks.  But I applied a second coat for the pictures and to test the wear time.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Briar Rose" for a full six days before I noticed any wear and tear.  See the gorgeous shimmer up close:

Overall I am in love with A England's "Briar Rose."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish is stunning and I plan on wearing it again and again until the bottle runs dry.

29th Birthday Nails!

Hello everyone!  2019 has started off with a bang and now it is time for me to celebrate turning 29.  (Still not sure how I ended up being nearly 30 already!!)  So to celebrate I decided to do some birthday nail art!  Here are the nail polishes I selected:

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's "Heather Hustle", Color Club's "Zodiac Attack", A England's "The Most Happy", Live Love Polish's "LBD", Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's "Peppy Le Fuchsia", OPI's "Tile Art To Warm The Heart", Color Club's "Tic-Tac-Toe" and OPI's "Exotic Birds Do Not Tweet".

To start off the nail art I needed paint my nails with a base color.  I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's "Heather Hustle" a lovely pastel purple.  It looked like this:

Next I added the glitter!  So I pulled out Color Club's "Zodiac Attack" a chunky purple and silver glitter which was best applied using the sponge technique.  Look how lovely it looked after one coat of glitter:

The I needed to add on the 2 and 9 using A England's "The Most Happy" a gorgeous deep purple polish with shimmer.  I used Maniology's (previously Bundle Monster) brushes to draw the design on.  After the purple numbers I added a black edging to the numbers.  I selected Live Love Polish's "LBD" to do it.  Here's how it looked:

Lastly I added some adorable candles on the other nails.  For the candles I used OPI's "Tile Art To Warm The Heart," Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's "Peppy Le Fuchsia" and Color Club's "Tic-Tac-Toe."  The flame for the candles was created with OPI's "Exotic Birds Do Not Tweet."  The candles turned out nicely:

If you want to know more about OPI's "Tile Art To Warm Your Heart"Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's "Peppy Le Fuchsia" or Color Club's "Tic-Tac-Toe" check out some of my previous posts.

Overall I am really happy with this year's birthday nails - though I am less happy to be in the last year of my 20s.  How the heck did I get this old?!?
