OPI "Lima Tell You About This Color!"

 

He everyone and happy Monday!  Today's nail polish is OPI's "Lima Tell You About This Color!" which was part of their 2018 Peru Collection.  Her's how this pretty pink looks in the bottle:

"Lima Tell You About This Color!" is a pretty bubblegum pink creme polish.  The formula of this nail polish was slightly watery but it applied nicely to my nails.  After two coats "Lima Tell You About This Color!" was entirely opaque and streak free.  Look at the lovely pink up close:

Overall I am really pleased with OPI's "Lima Tell You About This Color!"  Everything about this nail polish is great and it is a perfect shade for Summertime!

OPI "Mural Mural On The Wall"

Hello everyone and happy happy Thursday!  Today's nail polish is OPI's "Mural Mural On The Wall" from their Spring 2020 Mexico collection.  Here's how this beauty looks in the bottle:

"Mural Mural On The Wall" is a gorgeous coral jelly with gold flakies.  Formula wise this nail polish was great - it applied in nice even coats to my nails and the flakies didn't clump.  As with all jelly polishes they are sheer but buildable.  I used three coats of "Mural Mural On The Wall" to get an opaque streak-free look.  Check out all the gorgeous golden flakies up close:

Overall I am thrilled with OPI's "Mural Mural On The Wall."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish is perfect and I cannot wait to wear it again soon!

OPI "Grandma Kissed A Gaucho"

Hello everyone and happy Fri-YAY!  Who else is ready for the long holiday weekend?  Today's nail polish is OPI's "Grandma Kissed A Gaucho" which was part of their Peru collection.  Here's how this lovely polish looks in the bottle:

"Grandma Kissed A Gaucho" is a really pretty purple creme.  The formula of this nail polish is very sheer, but it was buildable.  After three coats "Grandma Kissed A Gaucho" was entirely opaque and streak free!  Look how nice this purple looks on my nails:

Overall I am really happy with OPI's "Grandma Kissed A Gaucho."  This fun purple is the perfect Summer color and I cannot wait to wear it again and again!

OPI "OPI Grabs The Unicorn By The Horn"

Hi all and happy Thursday (Friday Eve!)  Today's nail polish is OPI's "OPI Grabs The Unicorn By The Horn" which is from their Scottish collection a few seasons back.  Here's how this pretty looks in the bottle:

"OPI Grabs TheUnicorn By The Horn" is a bright blue creme.  The formula of this polish is slightly watery but it stilled applied well to my nails.  After three coats "OPI Grabs The Unicorns By The Horn" was entirely opaque and completely streak free.  Here's how this pretty looks up close:

Overall I am pleased with OPI's "OPI Grabs The Unicorn By The Horn."  This nail polish is so pretty and I cannot wait to wear this color again this Summer!

OPI "Chic From Ears To Tail"

Hi guys and happy Saturday!  We got about 2-3 inches of snow last night, which is a good amount for us here in the south.  But having a snow day has given me the chance to try out some nail polishes.  Here's today's nail polish: OPI's "Which From Ears To Tail" which was part of a Mickey/Minnie Mouse collection.  Here's how this lovely polish looks in the bottle:

"Chic From Ears To Tail" is a cute baby pink creme.  The formula for this polish was slightly watery, but it was easy to build up the color.  I used four coats of polish to get an entirely opaque look without any streak marks.  Look at this pretty polish up close:

Overall I am really pleased with OPI's "Chic From Ears To Tail."  Everything about this nail polish is lovely and this polish will be perfect for Spring and Summer!

OPI "Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k"

Hello everyone and happy Sunday!  Today's nail polish is OPI's "Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k" which is a beautiful blue with shimmer from OPI's Scotland collection.  Here's how this nail polish looks in the bottle:

"Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k" is a stunning turquoise blue with gold and green shimmer.  The formula of this polish a slightly watery but it still applied well to my nails.  After three coats "Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k" was fully opaque and streak free.  Here's how the shimmer in "Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k" looks up close:

Overall I am really happy with OPI's "Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k."  This color is so pretty and reminders me of the ocean glittering in the sunshine.  (Maybe one day soon I'll get to the beach again!)

OPI "You Had Me At Merlot"

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday!  Today's nail polish is OPI's "You Had Me At Merlot" which is such an adorable name!  Here's how this polish looks in the bottle:

"You Had Me At Merlot" is a pretty fuchsia creme.  The formula of "You Had Me At Merlot" is fantastic and applied with ease to my nails!  This nail polish was opaque after only one coat, however I applied two for photos.  Here's how "You Had Me At Merlot" looks up close:

Overall I am in love with OPI's "You Had Me At Merlot."  Everything about this nail polish is fabulous and it is a great year-round color!

OPI "Big Hair... Big Nails"

Hey guys and happy Monday.  Today's nail polish is OPI's "Big Hair... Big Nails" from an older Texas collection.  Here's how this pretty looks in the bottle:

"Big Hair... Big Nails" is a bright strawberry pink crelly.  It is not opaque - nor is it meant to be.  The formula of this nail polish was amazing and applied nicely to my nails.  I used three coats of "Big Hair... Big Nails" on my nails and the color really popped.  Here's how "Big Hair... Big Nails" looks up close:

Overall OPI's "Big Hair... Big Nails" is wonderful!  Absolutely everything about this nail polish is perfect - including how it looked on my nails.  I cannot wait to wear this polish a lot more often!

OPI "Nice Set Of Pipes"

Hey everyone and happy Sunday!  Last week slipped by without me posting - but I'm back and ready to go today!  So without further ado today's nail polish is OPI's "Nice Set Of Pipes" from their Scottish Collection.  Here's how this beauty looks in the bottle:

"Nice Set Of Pipes" is a really pretty dark purple creme.  The formula of this polish was slightly thick but I was able to apply it pretty well to my nails.  After two coats, "Nice Set Of Pipes" was fully opaque and streak free.  Here's how this purple looks like up close:

Overall I am pretty pleased with OPI's "Nice Set Of Pipes."  I love the color of this polish - it is perfect for Autumn and Winter.  It also looks good with all my work clothes.  I cannot wait to wear this nail polish a lot more often!

OPI "Pile On The Sprinkles"

Hi everyone and happy happy Wednesday!  (Halfway to the weekend!)  Today's nail polish is OPI's "Pile On The Sprinkle" which was part of a Hello Kitty collection.  Here's how these sprinkles look in the bottle:

"Pile On The Sprinkles" is a light purple with iridescent glitter in a variety of sizes.  The formula of this nail polish was pretty good and the glitter applied evenly to my nails.  The only downside is "Pile On The Sprinkles" has a clear base so the polish cannot be work alone since it is not made to be opaque.  Here's how the glitter looks in the bottle:

Overall I like OPI's "Pile On The Sprinkles" - the color is gorgeous and the formula is great, but I do wish it could be worn as a stand alone polish.  That being said I plan to try it as a top coat soon and I know it'll look great!

OPI "Can't Find My Czechbook"

Hello guys and happy Tuesday!  The sun was shining today so it was only right to wear a bright summer sky blue.  Today's nail polish is OPI's "Can't Find My Czechbook."  Here's how this pretty polish looks in the bottle:

"Can't Find My Czechbook" is a pretty aquamarine creme.  The formula of this polish was fair but it applied slightly streaky.  After three coats "Can't Find My Czechbook" wastefully opaque with only a couple small streak marks.  Here's how it looked up close:

Overall I have mixed feelings - I love the color of OPI's "Can't Find My Czechbook" but I wish it would apply with less streak marks.  That being said I do plan to keep this polish because with a little patience most of the streak marks can be covered up.

OPI "Tomorrow Never Dies"

Hi all and happy Thursday!  Sorry for being a bit MIA - 2020 has been a ride.  Today's nail polish is OPI's "Tomorrow Never Dies" from their Skyfall Collection a few years back.  Here's how "Tomorrow Never Dies" looks in the bottle:

"Tomorrow Never Dies" is a very pretty bright purple with a hint of shimmer.  The formula of this polish was slightly watery but it applied well with my nails.  After three coats "Tomorrow Never Dies" was fully opaque and had no visible streak marks.  Look at their purple beauty up close:

Overall I quite like OPI's "Tomorrow Never Dies."  The color is very pretty and unique to my collection.  This nail polish will remain in my collection for a long time to come!

Dupes: OPI "Dancing Keeps Me On My Toes" and Essie "All Daisy Long"

Hi guys and happy Thursday!  Today's post is a comparison of OPI's "Dancing Keeps Me On My Toes" and Essie's "All Daisy Long."  Here's how these nail polishes stack up next to each other:

Essie "All Daisy Long" and OPI "Dancing Keeps Me On My Toes"

Both polishes are white shimmers, though OPI's "Dancing Keeps Me On My Toes" has some additional iridescent micro glitter on top of the shimmer.  Essie's "All Daisy Long" has a warmer red/yellow shimmer while OPI's "Dancing Keeps Me On My Toes" has a cooler blue tone.  Formula wise both are good and apply well to my nails.  Both polishes required three coats of polish.  Here's how they look up close on my nails:

Overall both Essie's "Ally Daisy Long" and OPI's "Dancing Keep Me On My Toes" are great polishes, however they are not exact dupes.  They are very similar but the additional glitter in the OPI polish just makes it sparkle.  That being said I will keep both in my collection as they make great Summertime polishes!

Sinful Colors "Queen Of Beauty"

Hi everyone and happy Sunday!  The sun is shining and I couldn't resist playing with some glitter nail polish.  SO without further ado, today's nail polish is Sinful Colors "Queen Of Beauty." Here's how this glittery happiness looks in the bottle:

"Queen Of Beauty" is a silver micro glitter in a clear base.  The formula of this nail polish is great and the glitter applies evenly without much effort.  As with many glitters it is not opaque and can be layered on other polishes.

The first polish I decided to try with Sinful Colors "Queen of Beauty" is Essie's "Out Of The Jukebox."  This combination was bright and happy:

The second polish I tried with "Queen Of Beauty" with was OPI "Rub-A-Pub-Pub".  This combination looks like a glitter night sky:

The third and final nail polish I tried with "Queen Of Beauty" was Ciaté "Starlet."  This look was fun and over the top shimmer.

OPI "Let's Celebrate"

Hello everyone and happy Saturday!  While it is hard to celebrate much these days I decided to try and bring a little joy with my nails.  So without further ado, today's nail polish is OPI's "Let's Celebrate" which is  Hello Kitty themed!  Here's how this chunky glitter looks in the bottle:

"Let's Celebrate" is a gorgeous bubblegum pink chunky glitter with silver glitter mixed in.  The formula of this nail polish is pretty good and the glitter applied evenly to my nails.  Like many glitters it was not made to be opaque, so with that in mind I decided to test it out over an opaque polish.

I decided to try "Let's Celebrate" over Maniology's "Love Potion" to create the girlies princess look around:

Overall I am pretty happy with OPI's "Let's Celebrate" and it's happy glitter!  I wish this polish could be worn alone as an opaque glitter but it does create some fun looks over opaque polishes!

OPI "Plum Me To You"

Hi guys and happy Tuesday!  Despite the sunshine the weather is still unseasonably cold for May, so I pulled out a vampy Winter color.  So without further ado, today's nail polish is OPI's "Plum Me To You."  Look at this pretty in the bottle:

"Plum Me To You" is a lovely vampy dark red nail polish.  The formula of this polish was wonderful and it applied easily to my nails.  After two coats "Plum me To You" was surprisingly not opaque and there were some streak marks.  A third coat did not help with the streaks.  Here's how "Plum Me To You" looks up close:

Overall I have mixed feelings about OPI's "Plum me To You."  The color and formula are fantastic but the streak marks were not.  I think this polish will remain in my collection for a while though because it is such a pretty color.
