Hard Candy "Pop-arazzi"

Hi all!  I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday!  (Who doesn't love the weekend?)  So to celebrate that the weekend has arrived I picked out a fun multi-colored glitter polish!  Today's nail polish is Hard Candy's "Pop-arazzi."

"Pop-arazzi" is a rainbow colored chunky glitter polish.  "Pop-arazzi" features orange, light blue, dark blue, lime green, black and white glitter all in a clear base.  Formula wise "Pop-arazzi" was easy enough to apply but the clear base went on thick while the glitter was not a fan of sticking to my nails.  However with a little patience I was able to spread the glitter evenly on my nails.  Since "Pop-arazzi" has a clear base I decided to test it out over a colored polish.

I decided to test "Pop-arazzi" over China Glaze's "Heli-yum" which is a hot pink nail polish.  This combination turned out really well and looked super cute!  Because "Pop-arazzi" doesn't have pink glitter in it the pink background from "Heli-yum" makes the glitter pop on my nails.

If you want to know more about China Glaze's "Heli-yum" check out my post from earlier this year here.

Overall I am pleased with Hard Candy's "Pop-arazzi."  I like everything about this nail polish, but it would be nice if the clear base wouldn't go on as thick because it makes it harder to evenly distribute the glitter.  I will wear this nail polish again.

China Glaze "History of the World"

Hi everyone!  I can't believe January is nearly over already!  It seems like the year is already flying by!  Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "History of the World" which is part of China Glaze's collection for the movie The Giver that came out in 2014.

"History of the World" is a lovely dusty deep blue with a hint of purple in it.  Formula wise "History of the World" was good and very easy to apply.  After two coats the nail polish was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping I was able to wear "History of the World" for about five full days before there were any chip marks.

Overall I am very happy with China Glaze's "History of the World."  Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I will be wearing it a lot more often!

Essie "Frock 'N' Roll"

Hi guys!  It's almost the weekend (yay!) and I am looking forward to getting some rest.  But before all the rest and relaxation, today's nail polish is Essie's "Frock 'N' Roll" which is a polish I have been dying to try out for a while now!

"Frock 'N' Roll" is a great deep purple, almost black, polish with silver and gold shimmer in it.  Formula wise "Frock 'N' Roll" was a bit thick, but it was still relatively easy to apply.  After two coats the nail polish was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping I was able to wear "Frock 'N' Roll" for about three days before there were some noticeable chips.

Overall I am very happy with Essie's "Frock 'N' Roll."  Just about everything with "Frock 'N' Roll" is perfect except for the slightly thick formula.  However the formula wasn't too terribly thick and I love the color so much that I will definitely be wearing this nail polish again and again!

Finger Paints "Magenta Mural"

Hi all and Happy Wednesday!  (We're halfway to the weekend!)  Today's nail polish is Finger Paint's "Magenta Mural."  Finger Paints is a brand if nail polish that is available at most Sally Beauty Supply stores.

"Magenta Mural" is in fact not magenta at all and is actually a true purple with a gold iridescent shimmer.  Formula wise "Magenta Mural" is fantastic and very easy to apply.  After two coats the polish was completely opaque and streak free!  I was able to wear "Magenta Mural" for five full days before there were some small tip chips.

Overall I am very pleased with Finger Paint's "Magenta Mural."  Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I will definitely be wearing this nil polish over and over again!

Formula X "Determined"

Hi guys and happy Tuesday!  I hope everyone is enjoying the snow (if you have any!)  My house got hit by the Nor'easter earlier this week and is covered in ice.  (Thankfully just about everything has shut down so I don't have to go out!)  Today's nail polish is Formula X for Sephora's "Determined."

"Determined" is a chocolate brown polish with a hint of iridescent shimmer.  Formula wise this polish was fair, but the small brush made it difficult to get the polish on the nail.  After two coats of nail polish, "Determined" was not completely opaque and there were visible streak marks.  As for chipping I was able to wear this nail polish for about two days before the chipping started.

Overall I was a bit disappointed by Formula X for Sephora's "Determined."  The color is pretty but the polish was hard to apply, was not opaque on my nails and began to chip after only two days.  I may try this nail polish again and perhaps with a little work I could get the polish to look better on my nails.

Ciaté "Pepperminty"

Hi guys!  I'm so sorry it has been several days since I have posted but the internet at my house died and then I had to go to Florida for a funeral and time escaped me!  But I am back now and plan on catching up with my posts!  So without further ado today's nail polish is Ciaté's "Pepperminty" which is part of Ciaté's 2013 Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar set, which looks like this:

"Pepperminty" is located under flap #11.

"Pepperminty" is a gorgeous mint green colored polish.  Formula wise this nail polish was fantastic and very easy to apply!  After two coats "Pepperminty" was completely opaque, but it did have a few minor streak marks!  As for chipping I was able to wear "Pepperminty" for about four days before there were some minor tip chips!

Overall I am very pleased with Ciaté's "Pepperminty."  Everything about this nail polish is lovely, except for the few minor streak marks!  I love the mint green color and I will definitely be wearing this polish a lot more!

Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear "Indi-Glow"

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is enjoying Martin Luther King Jr. Day!  (Who doesn't enjoy celebrating an awesome person and a three day weekend!)  Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear's "Indi-Glow."

"Indi-Glow" is blurple (a combination of blue and purple) crelly (a polish that is not truly an opaque creme polish but is also not truly a see-through jelly polish) with blue and green glitter in it.  Formula wise "Indi-Glow" is a bit thick and was not the easiest to apply.  After two coats of polish, "Indi-Glow" was not completely opaque but it covered enough to look okay.  There were no visible streak marks but the tips of my nails refused to be covered so my nails looked terrible.  As for chipping I'm not sure how long "Indi-Glow" would have lasted because it looked so terrible on my nails that I refused to wear it out of the house!

Overall I am disappointed by Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear's "Indi-Glow."  In the bottle this nail polish looked gorgeous and I was excited to wear it, but the formula was so thick and difficult to manage and then it looked awful on my nails!  Since "Indi-Glow" is such a pretty color in the bottle I'd be willing to try this polish out again and see if I have better luck with it next time!

China Glaze "Heli-yum"

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!  Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Heli-yum" which is a nail polish I usually wear on my toes because it is bright and Summer-y.  (The only way it could get better is if it was actually Summer!)

"Heli-yum" is a hot pink creme polish that is a red based pink that is such a pretty color.  Formula wise this nail polish is fantastic and very easy to apply.  After two coats of polish, "Heli-yum" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  As for chipping I was able to wear this polish for six full days before there were some very minor tip chips.

Overall I really like China Glaze's "Heli-yum."  Everything about "Heli-yum" is great and when I wear it on my toes I am able to wear it for a full two weeks before there are any chips.  I will continue to wear "Heli-yum" on my toes but probably not on my fingers too much because I never do matching fingers and toes.

Orly Color Blast "Tea With Mrs. Potts"

Hi guys!  I hope everyone is enjoying their 2016 so far!  Today I couldn't resist pulling out a lovely Spring pastel (even though it isn't close to Spring yet!)  So without any further ad today's nail polish is Orly Color Blast's "Tea With Mrs. Potts" which is part of Orly Color Blast's Beauty and the Beast collection!

"Tea With Mrs. Potts" is a gorgeous baby pink colored creme polish.  Formula wise this nail polish is fantastic and it was very easy to apply!  After two coats "Tea With Mrs. Potts" was completely opaque and streak free.  I was very impressed at how opaque this pastel polish was because often times pastel polishes tend to be streaky.  As for chipping I was able to wear "Tea With Mrs. Potts" for about three full days before there were any noticeable chips.

Overall I am very pleased with Orly Color Blast's "Tea With Mrs. Potts."  Everything about this nail polish is lovely and I will definitely be wearing this polish again and again!

Claire's "Disco Diva"

Hi guys!  It is hard to believe that January is almost halfway over and I am definitely looking forward to Spring!  So to help keep my spirits up until the weather warms up I pulled out a bright fun glitter polish to wear!  Today's nail polish is Claire's "Disco Diva."

"Disco Diva" is a bright magenta glitter polish that I purchased from the Claire's store at the mall.  Formula wise "Disco Diva" is fantastic and very easy to apply!  After two coats the nail polish was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping I was able to wear "Disco Diva" for about four days before there were some small tip chips.

Overall I am very pleased with Claire's "Disco Diva."  Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I plan on wearing it again and again!

Fresh Paint "Enchanted"

Hi all!  Today I am trying out a new to me brand of nail polish called Fresh Paint.  Fresh Paint is a brand that I found at a store called "5 Below" which is a store where everything costs $5 (USD) or less.  I was able to get three polishes for $5, which is a great price!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Fresh Paint's "Enchanted."

"Enchanted" is a light baby pink creme polish.  Formula wise this nail polish is very watery and went on in thick lumpy coats.  After two coats of polish, "Enchanted" was not opaque and there were many weird streak marks and areas of the nail with no nail polish on it.  I applied a quick drying top coat (Orly's "Sec'N'Dry") and "Enchanted" and it refused to dry, which was very disappointing.  I was unable to wear this nail polish for more than 15 minutes (Basically just long enough to take the picture!)

Overall I am very disappointed with Fresh Paint's "Enchanted" because it was difficult to apply and looked terrible on my nails and then it refused to dry, which meant I could not wear this polish.  I will probably not be wearing "Enchanted" again but I am willing to try other nail polishes by Fresh Paints.

Whim "I'll Send You A Postcard"

Hi everyone!  It's nearly the middle of January and Winter is in full swing and the weather is a bit blue, so today I pulled out a blue colored nail polish.  Today's polish is Whim's "I'll Send You A Postcard." Whim is a specialty brand that is sold exclusively at ULTA Beauty stores.  Whim is touted on their website as a polish that "wears like a gel."  Whim is also five free and retails for around $11 (USD) a bottle.

"I'll Send You A Postcard" is a gorgeous electric blue creme colored polish.  Formula wise this polish was very easy to apply and was opaque after two coats.  There were also no visible streak marks as well, which was fantastic!  As for chipping I was able to wear "I'll Send You A Postcard" for seven full days before there were any chip marks!  So it lived up to its "wears like a gel" statement quite nicely.

Overall I am very pleased with Whim's "I'll Send You A Postcard."  Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and it lasted a very long time on my nails, which is wonderful!  I will definitely be buying more polishes by this brand and wearing "I'll Send You A Postcard" again and again!

Essie "Flowerista"

Hi all!  I hope January is treating everyone well!  Spring is still a long way off but I couldn't help but think about the lovely Spring flowers so I picked out a polish to remind me of Spring!  So without further ado today's nail polish is Essie's "Flowerista."

"Flowerista" is a very pretty berry colored creme polish!  Formula wise "Flowerista" was very good and nice and easy to apply!  After two coats the polish was completely opaque and streak free! As for chipping I was able to wear "Flowerista" for about five full days before there were any small chips.  Also with such a dark color I was worried about staining, but "Flowerista" surprised me by not leaving a single stain on any of my nails!

Overall I am very pleased with Essie's "Flowerista."  Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I will definitely be wearing this nail polish more often!  This gorgeous berry color is perfect for any time of year!

OPI's "You're So Vain-illa"

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is enjoying the new year so far!  After rocking a super glittery nail polish to bring in 2016 I decided to tone today's polish down.  So today's nail polish is OPI's "You're So Vain-illa" which is part of OPI's Coca-Cola Collection from last year.

"You're So Vain-illa" is a lovely beige colored nail polish which is meant to represent Vanilla Coke (which happens to be my favorite!)  Formula wise this polish is great and was very easy to apply.  After two coats, "You're So Vain-illa" was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping I was able to wear this polish for four full days before there were any noticeable tip chips.

Overall I am very happy with OPI's "You're So Vain-illa."  Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I will definitely be wearing this nail polish again because it goes with just about everything!

Orly "Glitterbomb"

Hi everyone and Happy 2016!  To celebrate the new year I decided to start off with a bang, a super glittery nail polish!  So today's nail polish, the first one of this year, is Orly's "Glitterbomb."

"Glitterbomb" is a chunky multi-colored glitter polish in a clear base.  Formula wise "Glitterbomb" was very easy to apply, which is fantastic for a glitter nail polish!  In fat it was so easy to apply that I managed to get a nice even coat of glitter without any problems or work at all!  Since this nail polish was so easy to apply I decided to try it out over a few colored nail polishes!

The first polish I decided to try "Glitterbomb" over is FLOWER's "Berry Begonia" which is an oxblood, deep red colored polish.  The combination turned out really nicely.  The oxblood color really made the colorful glitter pop on my nails!

If you want to know more about FLOWER's "Berry Begonia" check out my post from last month here.

The second polish I decided to try "Glitterbomb" over is China Glaze's "No Peeking!" which is an iridescent dusty purple polish.  This combination is fun and very girly.  I really like this combo because it is fun and pretty, and my favorite of all the colored bases I tried.

If you want to know more about China Glaze's "No Peeking!" check out my post from last month here.

Overall I am really pleased with Orly's "Glitterbomb."  Everything about this nail polish is amazing and I plan on wearing it a lot more often!

Thanks for reading my blog and Happy New Year!  :)
