Pop-arazzi "Pewter Perfect"

Hello all and happy Monday!  Today's third post is Pop-arazzi's "Pewter Perfect" which I purchased in Florida earlier this year.  Here's how this pretty looks in the bottle:

"Pewter Perfect" is a pewter with purple and green color changing micro-glitter.  The formula of this polish was slightly watery but it applied nicely to my nails.  After two coats "Pewter Perfect" was entirely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for four days before I had a couple of small tip chips.  Look at this shimmer:

Overall I am really happy with Pop-arazzi's "Pewter Perfect."  Everything about this nail polish was great and it is going to be a staple in my collection for this Autumn and Winter!

City Skyline Nail Art

Hello all!  Here's another post for today and it is a freehand city skyline design!  It has been ages since I have watched the sunset over a big city skyline so I couldn't resist creating it using these two polishes:

Maniology's "Straight Up Black" and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's "Burnished Wine."

To create the design I started with three coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's "Burnished Wine."  Here's how it looked:

After "Burnished Wine" dried I used a nail art brush to apply Maniology's Straight Up Black" to paint on the design.  Look how lovely it looks up close:

If you want to now more about Sally Hansen Insta Dri's "Burnished Wine" check out my post from earlier this year!

Overall I am thrilled with how this design turned out!  It was very easy to create and there's now wrong way to draw a city skyline!  Next time I head to a big city I'll re-create this design!

Maniology "Hibiscus"

Hi guys and happy happy Monday!  (It's been a long day!)  But without further ado, today's nail polish is Maniology's "Hibiscus" which is a stamping polish! Look at it in the bottle:

"Hibiscus" is a super pretty orange-y coral creme.  The formula of this nail polish is a little thick, which is great because it is a stamping polish.  "Hibiscus" applied easily to my nails and after two coats was opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for four full days.  Look at this Spring color up close:

Overall I am really happy with Maniology's "Hibiscus."  I adore everything about this nail polish and cannot wait to try it out in a stamped design!

"My Solar Clock Is Ticking" is a pretty dusty red-orange creme.  The formula of this nail polish was amazing and it applied with ease to my nails.  After two coats, "My Solar Clock Is Ticking" was completely opaque with no streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for five full days before I noticed a bit or wear and tear.  Look at how lovely this color is up close:

Overall I am in love with OPI's "My Solar Clock Is Ticking."  Everything about this nail polish is wonderful and it is one of my go-tos for Autumn this year!

Wet N' Wild Megarocks "Jam Session"

Hi all and happy Saturday!  Today's final nail polish is Wet N' Wild Megarock's "Jam Session."  This is a random nail polish I discovered tucked away in my collection.  I'm not even sure if Wet N' Wild makes this polish anymore!  Here's how "Jam Session" looks in the bottle:

"Jam Session" is a purple, blue and pink chunky glitter in a clear base coat.  The formula of this polish was watery but with a little patience it still applied pretty decently.  Like most glitters "Jam Session" is meant to be worn as a top coat, so I decided to test it out over some colorful polishes.

The first polish I tested out with "Jam Session" was Ciate's "Encore!"  This design actually made the glitter look blue and would be perfect for a 4th of July celebration!

The second nail polish I tried "Jam Session" was was Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Marine Scene."  This combination reminded me of a mermaid's tail and was a lot of fun to wear!  Look at this glitter up close:

If you want to know more about Ciate's "Encore!" or Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Marine Scene" check out some of my previous posts!

Overall I am undecided about Wet N' Wild's "Jam Session."  I like how the glitter looks on my nails and the colors are pretty.  But that being said I work in an office setting where glitters aren't exactly considered acceptably business so I can't wear "Jam Session" a lot.  I'll probably offer this polish to my friends daughter, since she loves glitter!

Dupe Post: China Glaze's "Dune Our Thing" and "Flying Dragon"

Hi all and happy Saturday!  Here's a comparison of China Glaze's "Dune Our Thing" and "Flying Dragon."  Both are lovely fuchsia polishes - here's how they stack up next to each other in the bottle:

China Glaze's "Dune Our Thing" and "Flying Dragon."

Both "Dune Our Thing" and "Flying Dragon" are fuchsia cremes.  The formula of both were really good and applied well.  Though if I had to pick "Dune Our Thing" was slightly easier to apply.  Both were opaque in a single coat, which is a bonus.  Despite looking very similar in the bottle "Dune Our Thing" was a true fuchsia while "Flying Dragon" was much darker.  "Flying Dragon" also finished matte instead of shiny like "Dune Out Thing."  Here's how they look up close:

If you want to know more about China Glaze's "Dune Our Thing" or China Glaze's "Flying Dragon" check out some of my previous posts!

Overall China Glaze's "Dune Our Thing" and "Flying Dragon" are no where near identical.  Both are really nice nail polishes and will remain in my collection for a long time.

Zoya "Sailor"

Hello everyone and happy Saturday!  I hope everyone had a really great week and is enjoying the weekend!  So without further ado, today's first post is Zoya's "Sailor."  Look at this lovely in the bottle:

"Sailor" is a pretty navy creme nail polish.  The formula of "Sailor" was really lovely and applied with ease.  After a single coat "Sailor" was entirely opaque and streak free.  Though I did apply a second coat just to test the wear time.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for four days before I noticed a couple of tip chips.  This navy up close is gorgeous:

Overall I am thrilled with Zoya's "Sailor."  Everything about this nail polish is perfect and it goes well for Autumn and Winter!  I can't wait to keep rocking this polish again and again!

Emoji Nail Art

Hey guys and happy Monday!  Today's nail polish is actually some nail art featuring emojis!  (We all love to use them so I couldnt resist putting them on my nails!)  Here are the nail polishes I selected to create the design:

Disney for Target's "White", China Glaze's "Lemon Fizz" and "Living In The Elmo-ment", Maniology's "Straight Up Black" and Sinful Colors "Mist-erious."

To create the design I first painted my nails white using Disney for Target's "White."  My nails looked like this:

Next I used China Glaze's "Lemon Fizz" to create the Emoji's faces and China Glaze's "Living In The Elmo-ment" for the heart.  My nails then looked like this:

After that I used Maniology's "Straight Up Black" to add the details.  Here's how some of the emojis looked up close:

If you want to know more about Disney for Target's "White" or Sinful Colors "Mist-erious" check out some of my previous posts!

Overall I am disappointed in my ability to re-create emojis.  My freehand nails still need some practice.  Maybe I'll try to re-create this design in the future to see if I am improved!  But still the emojis are adorable!

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri "Burnished Wine"

Hello everyone and happy Sunday evening!  (It's another surprise extra post!)  Today's second  nail polish is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's "Burnished Wine."  Here's how this matte polish looks in the bottle:

"Burnished Wine" is a really pretty Burgundy with a golden shimmer that dries matte.  The formula of this nail polish was sightly thick and took bit of patience to apply.  After two coats "Burnished Wine" was not opaque at all, so I applied a third coat.  The third coat of "Burnished Wine" helped and made my nails look lovely!.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for three days before I noticed some chips.  Look at the shimmer up close:

Overall I am really pleased with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's "Burnished Wine."  I do wish is didn't require three coats but the gorgeous color that finishes matte is one of a kind in my collection!  I plan to wear this color a lot throughout Autumn.

Covergirl "Blue Hawaiian"

Hello guys and happy Sunday!  Today's nail polish is Covergirl's "Blue Hawaiian."  I've had this color in my collection for a long time and couldn't wait to try it out!  Look how pretty the color is:

"Blue Hawaiian" is a gorgeous turquoise creme.  (My favorite color of all time!)  The formula of this nail polish was very good and easy to apply.  After two coats, "Blue Hawaiian" was fully opaque and only had one or two small streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Blue Hawaiian" for three days before I noticed some tip wear.  This color is even more gorgeous up close:

Overall I like Covergirl's "Blue Hawaiian."  The color of this nail polish is lovely and makes me very happy.  The only thing I would change is the wear time - but I have no plans for this nail polish to leave my collection anytime soon.

Color Club "Spell It Out"

Hi all and happy Saturday!  Today's second nail polish (surprise an extra post!)  is Color Club's "Spell It Out" which I purchased last year at my local Wal-Mart.  Here's how it looks in the bottle:

"Spell It Out" is a gorgeous blue holographic.  The formula of this nail polish was slightly watery but it applied nicely to my nails.  After two coats, "Spell It Out" was entirely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for six full days before it began to chip!  (It was a modern miracle!)  Here's how the stunning blue holo looks up close:

Overall I am absolutely thrilled with Color Club's "Spell It Out."  There is nothing about this nail polish that I didn't adore!  In fact this has been one of my favorites in 2019!  I look forward to wearing it a lot more often!

OPI "And The Raven Cried Give Me More"

Hey all and happy happy Saturday!  Today's nail polish is OPI's "And The Raven Cried Give Me More" which reminds me of Edgar Allen Poe's poem The Raven.  As a literary nerd I knew I had to have this polish!  And it is a gorgeous color too - look at it in the bottle:

"And The Raven Cried Give Me More" is a really pretty royal purple with a deep purple shimmer.  The formula of this nail polish was absolutely stunning!  After two coats, "And The Raven Cried Give Me More" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for five full days before I noticed any chips.  Look at this beauty up close:

Overall I am in love with OPI's "And The Raven Cried Give Me More."  Everything about this nail polish is great but I  cannot get over the fantastic formula!  (It applied so smoothly and made this nail polish love very happy!)  I have no plans to part with "And The Raven Cried Give Me More" anytime soon.

Mani x Me August 2019 Box

Hi guys and happy Friday!  Today's nail polish is actually Maniology's Mani x Me box from August.  (I'm very behind I know!)  This is a monthly subscription box that includes two nail polish, two stamping plates and a surprise nail art item.  Here are this month's nail polishes:

Maniology's "Terracotta Rose" and Maniology's "Shangri-La."

This month's theme was mosaics inspired by the Middle East.  The first plate MXM013 features lovely repeated designs and mandala-esque designs.

The second plate MXM014 has smaller simply mosaic designs.  It is so lovely:

This month's surprise nail art item was gold lustre that looks like gold leafing the applied to the nail.  Look at how pretty it is:

Overall I am really pleased by Maniology's Mani x Me subscription boxes!  All of them have been great and I now have a collection of stamping plates and polishes that allow me to create a variety of designs!

Maniology "Spiced Orange"

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!  Today's nail polish is Maniology's "Spiced Orange" which came as part of one of the Mani x Me subscription box.  Look at this gorgeousness up close:

"Spiced Orange" is the most gorgeous golden orange shimmer I have ever seen!  The formula of this polish was absolutely amazing and applied easily to my nails.  After only a single coat "Spiced Orange" was fully opaque and only had minimal streak marks caused by all the shimmer.  As always though, I applied a second coat of "Spiced Orange" to test wear time.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for five full days before I noticed a couple of chips.  Look at the shimmer up close:

Overall I am absolutely in love with Maniology's "Spiced Orange."  The color is so gorgeous and unique - I have nothing like it in my collection.  That paired with the fantastic formula and it is made to stamp with makes "Spiced Orange" a keeper!
