Essie "Roarrrrange"

Hi everyone!  I can't believe that April is over.  This year is just flying by!  So to finish out April I decided to pull out a fun bright orange polish!  Today's nail polish is Essie's "Roarrrrange."

"Roarrrrange" is a very bright orange nail polish.  Formula wise this polish was slightly watery and it took some patience to apply.  After two coats, "Roarrrrange" was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for five full days before there were some minor tip chips.

Overall I am very pleased with Essie's "Roarrrrange."  I like most everything about this nail polish, with my only complaint being the slightly watery formula.  And even then the formula was easy enough to work with.  I will definitely wear this nail polish again!

butterLONDON "Airy Fairy"

Hi guys and happy Hump Day!  We're halfway to the weekend again!  (Ever since ditching the retail job it is amazing to have nights and weekends off again!) So to celebrate life's simple pleasures, today's nail polish is butter LONDON's "Airy Fairy."

"Airy Fairy" is the most gorgeous bright blue polish with a blue, green, and yellow shimmer.  It looks like the ocean when the sunshine bounces off of it!  Formula wise this nail polish is fantastic and it was very easy to apply.  After two coats of polish, "Airy Fairy" was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping I was able to wear "Airy Fairy" for about four days before there were some small tip chips.  And despite "Airy Fairy" being a darker colored polish it did not leave any stain marks on my nails.

Overall I am very pleased with butter LONDON's "Airy Fairy."  Everything about this nail polish is perfect and I will definitely be wearing this nail polish a lot more often!

Sally Hansen Triple Shine "Pixie Slicks"

Hi all!  My favorite part of Springtime s pulling out all sorts of hot pink polishes, and today's polish is no exception!  So without further ado today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Triple Shine's "Pixie Slicks."

"Pixie Slicks" is a lovely neon hot pink nail polish.  The formula of "Pixie Slicks" is fair but the brush provided in the bottle is so wide and flat that it is difficult to apply the polish to the nail.  After two coats the nail polish completely opaque and nearly streak free.  The streak marks were caused because "Pixie Slicks" got a bit goopy on my nails.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Pixie Slicks" for about a day before there were a lot of smudges and dings.

Overall I am disappointed by Sally Hansen Triple Shine's "Pixie Slicks."  Aside from its gorgeous color nothing else about "Pixie Slicks" was good.  Unfortunately I probably won't be wearing this nail polish again because it was difficult to apply and smudged to very easily.

ULTA "Cream Of The Crop"

Hi guys and happy Saturday!  I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!  Today's nail polish is ULTA's "Cream Of The Crop."  ULTA is a store in the United States that sells a variety of make-up, hair supplies, nail polish, and body soaps.

"Cream Of The Crop" is a creamy yellow polish.  Formula wise this nail polish was a bit watery and took a bit of patience to apply.  After two coats of polish, "Cream Of The Crop" was not opaque and had a lot of visible streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Cream Of The Crop" for about two days before there were some visible tip chips.

Overall I have mixed feelings about ULTA's "Cream Of The Crop."  I like the color of the polish but the watery formula and all the visible streaks were disappointing.  I have tried this polish out a few times now and it hasn't gotten any better so I probably won't be wearing this nail polish again any time soon.

Finger Paints "Beautiful Mystery"

Hi everyone!  Thursday is nearly over and tomorrow will be Fri-yay!  Who else is ready for the weekend?  Today's nail polish is Finger Paints "Beautiful Mystery."

"Beautiful Mystery" is a pastel blue colored polish.  The formula of "Beautiful Mystery" was a bit thick and it did not apply well.  After the first coat of nail polish there were some very weird streaks that developed.  I figured that after the second coat the streaks would disappear, but they actually got worse.  As for chipping I have no idea how long "Beautiful Mystery" would have lasted because the nail polish looked so horrible on my nails.

Overall I am very disappointed by Finger Paints "Beautiful Mystery."  The color of the polish is pretty, but everything else after that was terrible.  Because of the weird streak marks I probably won't be wearing this nail polish again any time soon.

Sephora by OPI "Aladdin's Girl"

Hi all!  Today's nail polish is a retired nail polish brand Sephora by OPI (also known by SOPI) called "Aladdin's Girl."  "Aladdin's Girl" came as part of a set call Jasmine's Mini Collection, and the set looks like this:

"Aladdin's Girl" is a very pretty bronze micro-glitter.  Formula wise this polish is fantastic and it was very easy to apply.  After two coats "Aladdin's Girl" was completely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping I was able to wear "Aladdin's Girl" for about four days before there were a few tip chips.

Overall I am very pleased with Sephora by OPI's "Aladdin's Girl."  Everything about this nail polish is great and I can't wait to wear it again soon!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Sweet Nectar"

Hi guys!  I can't believe April is over half way through!  This year seems like it is flying by!  And now that Summer is rapidly approaching I couldn't resist pulling out a crazy bright orange colored polish.  So without further ado today's nail polish is Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in "Sweet Nectar."

"Sweet Nectar" is a bright orange colored nail polish.  The formula of "Sweet Nectar" is watery and it took some patience to apply.  However after two coats, the polish was completely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Sweet Nectar" for about three days before it started to chip.

Overall I have mixed feelings about Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear's "Sweet Nectar."  I love the color and how fantastic it looked on my nail, but the formula was frustratingly watery and difficult to apply.  However despite the watery formula I am willing to try this nail polish again.

Monop' Make-Up "Jaune Poussin"

Hi everyone!  It's been about nine months since my Mom and I traveled to France and lately I've been missing France so I dig through my collection and pulled out one of the polishes I bought in Paris.  So today's nail polish is Monop' Make-up's "Jaune Poussin."  Monop' is basically the Wal-Mart or Target of France, they sell food, clothes, household items, and make-up to name a few.

"Jaune Poussin" (which means yellow chick) is a lovely pastel yellow colored polish.  Formula wise this nail polish was easy enough to apply.  After two coats of polish "Jaune Poussin" was almost completely opaque, but there were a few visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Jaune Poussin" for about four days before there were some tip chips.

Overall I am very pleased with Monop' Make-Up's "Jaune Poussin."  Everything about this nail polish is lovely, the only thing that would make this polish better would be if it had been completely opaque.  However I will definitely be wearing this nail polish again soon!

Nails INC "Radnor Walk"

Hi everyone!  We've survived until Wednesday and it is almost the weekend! (We've got this!) So to help get to the weekend I picked out a nice calming creme colored polish!  Today's nail polish is Nails INC's "Radnor Walk."

"Radnor Walk" is a very delicate and pretty baby pink/nude polish.  The formula of "Radnor Walk" was quite nice and it was very easy to apply.  Despite being such a nude colored polish "Radnor Walk" was completely opaque and streak free after two coats of polish.  As for chipping I was able to wear this polish for about a week before my nails had grown out and it was time to repaint my nails!  "Radnor Walk" had a special surprise for me, it dries with an extra gorgeous matte finish!  Here's how it looked before I applied a shiny top coat:

Overall I am very pleased with Nails INC's "Radnor Walk."  Everything about this nail polish was fantastic!  I even liked how this polish looked on my nails, which is rare because I typically don't like nude colored polishes.  I will definitely wear "Radnor Walk" again very soon!

Hi everyone!  As Spring continues to get warmer and warmer I couldn't resist pulling out a gorgeous coral colored polish!  So today's nail polish is butter LONDON's "Kerfluffle."

"Kerfluffle"is a pastel coral colored creme polish.  Formula wise this nail polish is fantastic and it was very easy to apply.  After two coats of polish "Kerfluffle" was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Kerfluffle" for about three days before there were some minor tip chips.

Overall I am very pleased with butter LONDON's "Kerfluffle."  Everything about this nail polish is perfect and I plan on wearing it a lot more often!

OPI "Hello Hawaii Ya?"

Hi everyone and happy Saturday!  We've survived to the weekend! Today's nail polish is OPI's "Hello Hawaii Ya?" which is part of OPI's Spring 2015 collection.

"Hello Hawaii Ya?" is a lovely dusty purple colored polish.  Formula wise "Hello Hawaii Ya?" was nice and it was easy to apply.  After two coats the nail polish was completely opaque and streak free. However "Hello Hawaii Ya?" took a very long time to dry, even with a quick drying top coat.  But once the polish was dry I was able to wear it for bout three days before there were some noticeable tip chips.

Overall I have mixed feelings about OPI's "Hello Hawaii Ya?"  The color and formula were fantastic but the smudging until it dried was annoying to say the least.  However despite the smudges I am willing to give this nail polish another try.

China Glaze "Hang Ten Toes"

Hi all and happy Thursday!  We are nearly to the weekend, we can do it!  Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Hang Ten Toes."

"Hang Ten Toes" is a gorgeous neon hot pink nail polish.  Formula wise this polish is fantastic and was very easy to apply.  After two coats, "Hang Ten Toes" was completely opaque and streak free.  In typical neon fashion "Hang Ten Toes" dries with a matte finish, which was a neat look.  (I added a shiny top coat.)   As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for five full days before there were some minor chips.

Overall I am very pleased with China Glaze's "Hang Ten Toes."  Everything about this polish is great and I will definitely be wearing this nail polish again and again!

Funky Fingers "Bling Dipper"

Hi everyone!  Today's nail polish is Funky Finger's "Bling Dipper."  Funky Fingers is a brand of nail polish that is sold at 5 Below stores, which is an American store where everything cost less than $5 (USD).

"Bling Dipper" is a silver micro glitter in a clear base that was meant to be worn on top of a colored polish.  Formula wise "Bling Dipper" was very easy to apply, which is always a plus for a glitter polish!  Since this polish wasn't meant to be worn on its own I decided to test it out over a couple of colored nail polish.  Here's how it turned out:

The first polish I decided to try out with "Bling Dipper" is OPI's "Russian Navy."  This combination turned out to look like stars in the night sky and was very pretty.

If you want to know more about OPI's "Russian Navy" check out my post from earlier this year here.

The second polish I decided to try out with "Bling Dipper" is butter LONDON's "Come To Bed Red." This combination turned out very fun and would actually make a great look for 4th of July!

If you want to know more about "Come To Bed Red" check out my post from earlier this year here.

Overall I am very pleased with Funky Finger's "Bling Dipper."  Everything about this nail polish is great and it looked good on both colored polishes I tried!  I will definitely be wearing "Bling Dipper" again in the future!

Nicole by OPI "Lay It On The Lime"

Hi all!  Happy Sunday, and how about that Tarheel win last night!  (We're on to the Final game later this week!)  Today's nail polish is Nicole by OPI's "Lay It On The Lime."

"Lay It On The Lime" is not shockingly a bright lime green nail polish!  Formula wise this nail polish is fantastic and it was so easy to apply!  After two coats of polish, "Lay It On The Lime" was mostly opaque but there were some visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Lay It On The Lime" for about four days before there were some noticeable tip chips.

Overall I quite like Nicole by OPI's "Lay It On The Lime."  Most everything about this nail polish is nice from the color to how long the polish lasted before chipping.  The only way this nail polish could be better is if it was completely opaque, however I will continue to wear "Lay It On The Lime,"

Candie's "Yo-Ho-Ho"

Hi all!  It's April Fools day but there's no joke on the blog today!  For today's nail polish I settled on Candie's "Yo-Ho-Ho."  Candie's is a brand of nail polish sold at Kohl's stores in the United States.  Kohl's is a discount store similar to T.J. Maxx (of T.K. Maxx in the United Kingdom).

"Yo-Ho-Ho" is a lovely pastel purple nail polish with a fun silver shimmer!  The formula of "Yo-Ho-Ho" is good and it was easy to apply.  After two coats the polish was completely opaque and there were no visible streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Yo-Ho-Ho" for about four days, which was quite a nice surprise.  In the past my experience with this brand of nail polish hasn't been so good, but "Yo-Ho-Ho" has changed my mind!

Overall I am quite happy with Candie's "Yo-Ho-Ho."  The color of "Yo-Ho-Ho" is what made me buy it because it is such a gorgeous lavender color.  However I wasn't expecting anything else out of it, so I was so pleasantly surprised that the formula was good and that I was able to wear this polish for four full days!  I will be wearing "Yo-Ho-Ho" more often!
