Essie "Blue-tiful Horizon"

Hello everyone!  Sorry for the delay in posting work has been unusually busy this week!  But I'm back so without further ado, today's nail polish is Essie's "Blue-tiful Horizon."  Here's how pretty it looks in the bottle:

"Blue-tiful Horizon" is a gorgeous dark cadet blue nail polish with a golden shimmer.  It reminds me of the sunset colored sky.  The formula of "Blue-tiful Horizon" was perfect and it applied with ease.  After two coats the nail polish was entirely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Blue-tiful Horizon" for five days before there were a couple of tip chips.  Check out the stunning shimmer up close:

Overall I am really happy with Essie's "Blue-tiful Horizon."  Everything about this nail polish is lovely and I plan to wear it all year round!

Nickelodeon Slime Drip Nails

Hello guys and happy Monday!  Today's nail polish is actually a nostalgic 90's throwback nail art.  I grew-up as a complete 90's kid and have vivid memories of Nickelodeon's slime - so today I am recreating that in slime drips.  (Who else misses the great 90's TV shows?)  First off I selected the nail polish:

Essie's "Sunshine State Of Mind" and Color Club's "Tic-Tac-Toe"

Next I applied two coats of Essie's "Sunshine State Of Mind" which is a Nickelodeon orange and also has a fitting Florida name!  Here's how the gorgeous orange looked:

Next I used some dotting tools purchased on Amazon (just a basic set) and Color Club's "Tic-Tac-Toe" to create the drips.  Look how cool the drips look!

If you want to know more about Essie's "Sunshine State Of Mind" or Color Club's "Tic-Tac-Toe" check out some of my previous posts.

Overall I like how these fun nostalgic nails turned out.  I'm a little sad I had some odd marks in the tops of the slime drips but otherwise I think it turned out really nicely.  Who else wanted to be slimed as a kid?

Nicole by OPI "Berry The Hatchet"

Hello all and happy Sunday!  The sun is out and shining but the temperature still says Winter.  So with that in mind I pulled out this pretty berry color to wear!  That being said, today's nail polish is Nicole by OPI's "Berry The Hatchet." Here's how pretty the polish looks in the bottle:

"Berry The Hatchet" is a pretty mulberry wine colored creme.  The formula was lovely and it applied with ease.  After two coats, "Berry The Hatchet" was entirely opaque with no visible streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three days before there were so obvious tip chips.  Look how lovely this polish was on my nails:

Overall Nicole by OPI's "Berry The Hatchet" is absolutely wonderful!  Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and it is such a nice color for Winter.  I definitely plan on wearing "Berry The Hatchet" a lot more often!

China Glaze "Applejack Of My Eye"

Hi guys and happy Friday!  Who else is ready for the weekend?  Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Applejack Of My Eye" from their My Little Pony collection.  Here's how it looks in the bottle:

"Applejack Of My Eye" is a lovely strawberry pink polish.  The formula of "Applejack Of My Eye" was fantastic and it applied extremely well.  After two coats the nail polish was entirely opaque with no visible streaks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Applejack Of My Eye" for five full days before there were a few tip chips.  Look how gorgeous this pink is up close:

Overall I am so pleased with China Glaze's "Applejack Of My Eye."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish is perfect and the color stunning.  I'll definitely be wearing this nail polish again and again!

Wet N' Wild "Metallica"

Hey guys and happy Wednesday!  I've fallen ill and am currently snuggled up in bed dreaming of feeling better.  (Here's hoping tomorrow I'm feeling better and can get back to work!)  Today's nail polish is Wet N' Wild's "Metallica" which looks like this in the bottle:

"Metallica" is shockingly a silvery grey nail polish with silver shimmer.  The formal of this polish was good but because of the shimmer there were a lot of streaky marks.  After two coats "Metallica" was completely opaque.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Metallica" for three or four days before there were some chips.  Look at the shimmer in macro:

Overall I quite like Wet N' Wild's "Metallica."  The colors and formula are fantastic and made it fun to wear!  This nail polish will definitely be staying in my collection for a long while to come!

Clinique "Happy"

Hi all and happy Tuesday!  It was freezing cold today so I picked the brightest color I could find in my collection to wear!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Clinique's "Happy" which I got as a freebie with a make-up purchase ages ago.  Here's how the mini-bottle looks:

"Happy" is a lovely bright red colored polish that leans slightly towards a coral color.  The formula of this polish was surprisingly good considering I never knew Clinique made nail polish.  After a single coat "Happy" was completely opaque and streak free.  However I did apply a second coat to test the wear time and the photos.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Happy" for three to four days before there were some small chips.  Here's how pretty this polish is up close:

Overall I am surprisingly pleased with Clinique's "Happy."  The color is gorgeous and the formula wonderful, which means I actually plan to keep it in my collection!

Live Love Polish "Phantasma"

Hi everyone and happy Sunday!  The weather is dreary so I pulled out a iridescent shimmer to brighten my day!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Live Love Polish's "Phantasma" which looks like this in the bottle:

"Phantasma" is a stunning iridescent color shifting flakie that changes from yellow to orange to fuchsia!  The formula of this polish was great and it spread the flakies evenly across my nails without any effort.  Here are the gorgeous flakies up close:

Since "Phantasma" is meant to be worn as a top coat I decided to test it out over a few creme polishes.  The first polish I tested with "Phantasma" was Essie's "Style Hunter."  This combination was stunning and will be perfect for Autumn:

The second nail polish I tried with "Phantasma" was Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Purple Potion."  This combination was equally as gorgeous and also perfect for Autumn:

If you want to know more about Essie's "Style Hunter" or Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Purple Potion" check out some of my previous posts.

Overall I am in love with Live Love Polish's "Phantasma."  Everything about this polish is perfect and it looks stunning on my nails no matter what color I apply with it!  I cannot wait to wear this nail polish a to more often!

Maniology Mani x Me January Box

Hi guys and happy Saturday!  I am enjoying a long three day weekend from work and couldn't be happier about the extra day off!  Today's post feature's Maniology's Mani x Me subscription box.  As soon as I heard they were starting a monthly box I couldn't resist signing up!  Today's post shows you what cam in January 2019's box.  Each box has a theme and January's is space/night sky themed.  First off here's how the packaging looks when you open the mail up:

Once inside the box you get a cute little note on top that tells you more about the theme and how everything ties in.  Each box includes two stamping nail polishes and two stamping plates that haven't been released yet as well as an additional nail art item.  Here are this month's nail polishes:

Maniology's "Lilac Clouds" and "Celestial."

As you can see "Lilac Clouds" is a pretty pastel purple creme.  It will be a great nail polish for Spring and Summer!  "Celestial" is the perfect nail polish for this month's theme as it already looks like the night sky in the bottle.  It is one of the prettiest polishes I have ever seen!

Next up the stamping plates!  Plate M001 features astrological signs, phases of the moon and other outer space designs.  I actually think this is my favorite plate in my collection.

The second plate is M002 which features some futuristic geometric designs.  I really like this stamping plate because you can use it for a lot of designs not just space themed nails.  I'm really excited to try this plate out!

The extra nail art item for this month was four sheets of nail stickers.  The stickers are a gorgeous gold and have stars, aliens, rockets, geometric shapes and planets.  The gold really shines and pops too!

Lastly Maniology throws in a few pineapple candies and a sheet of non-nail art stickers that you can use on anything.  This month's stickers featured nail polishes and looks like this:

Overall I am really pleased with January's box, as well as the previous ones I have received.  For the price you get a nice amount of useful nail art items.  Here's this month's box all together:

If you're like me and love the idea of Maniology's subscription box then make sure you hop on over to their website because February's box is coming out soon!!

OPI "Blushingham Palace"

Hi everyone and happy Friday!  Today's nail polish is OPI's "Blushingham Palace" which I knew I needed to have in my collection based on the name alone!  But the color is absolutely gorgeous too!  Here's how this nail polish looks in the bottle:

"Blushingham Palace" is a gorgeous pink copper color with some absolutely gorgeous color shifting shimmer.  The formula of this nail polish was perfect and applied with absolute ease!  After two coats of polish, "Blushingham Palace" was fully opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for a full week before there were a couple of tiny chips and my nails grew out and needed to be repainted.  Can you see this gorgeous color shift up close:

Overall I am in love with OPI's "Blushingham Palace."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish os wonderful and is such a unique color in my collection.  It is a great neutral color but with a gorgeous pop of pink shimmer.  I'll definitely be wearing this color again and again until the bottle runs dry!

Color Club "Supernatural"

Hello all and happy Wednesday!  Anyone else ready for a long weekend?  Today's nail polish is Color Club's "Supernatural" which looks like this in the bottle:

"Supernatural" is a lovely turquoise polish with silver shimmer.  Color Club is marketing this as a holographic polish, but I'll let you decide for yourself.  The formula of "Supernatural" was thick and took a bit of patience to apply.  However, after two coats the nail polish was entirely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Supernatural" for five days before I noticed some tip chips.  Look at this holo gorgeousness in the bottle:

And a lovely close up shot on my nails:

Overall I am really pleased with Color Club's "Supernatural."  The color is absolutely stunning and its holo is mesmerizing.  I plan on wearing this nail polish again and again!

Bundle Monster Color "Heart Of Gold"

Hello all and happy Sunday!  (Though really where did the weekend go!?!)  Today's nail polish is Bundle Monster Color's "Heart Of Gold" which is a stamping polish.  Bundle Monster Color has recently been renamed Maniology, but their products remain awesome.  Here is how "Heart Of Gold" looks in the bottle:

"Heart Of Gold" is a gorgeous shimmery gold.  The formula of this nail polish is thick, which helps it stamp, but made it a bit difficult to apply evenly on my nails.  After two coats, "Heart Of Gold" was fully opaque but with a couple of streak marks from the shimmer.  (But the shimmer is so gorgeous so it's fine!)  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Heart Of Gold" for four days before I had a few tip chips.  Look how stunning the shimmer is up close:

The shimmer of "Heart Of Gold" is also clearly visible in the bottle too:

If you want to see how well it stamps check out my Constellation Nail Art from late last year!

Overall Bundle Monster Color's "Heart Of Gold" is really great and lovely.  The color is fantastic either when worn as its own polish and it looks lovely when stamped also!  "Heart Of Gold" will remain a go to nail polish in my collection.

Dual Color Sponge and Stamp

Hello all ad happy Saturday!  I'm currently in Florida so here's a some nail art with an ocean-y vibe.  Today's nail art is a two color design that is sponged on the nails and then a design stamped on.  First I needed to pick out colors to use:

Maniology's "Rocko Wear" and "Clarissa Blue."

Next I  applied a coat of Live Love Polish's "Precision Peel" to protect my cuticles and skin (but forgot to photograph it.)  Then, using a sponge, I applied Bundle Monster Color's "Clarissa Blue" and "Rocko Wear" so my nails looked like this:

After that I selected my stamping plate, which is Maniology's (formerly Bundle Monster) plate BM-XL456 which looks like this:

Next I re-applied the cuticle protector and used both nail polishes to cover the design blending the two colors together to create the fade.  After stamping and clean up my design looked like this:

And here's a gorgeous up close shot:

Overall I like how this design turned out, though I cam clearly no expert at sponging or stamping yet. But this design will help me pass the time thinking about the ocean until Summer rolls back around!

A England "Briar Rose"

Hi guys and hello weekend!  Anyone else excited for the end of the week?  Today's nail polish is A England's "Briar Rose" which is obviously an ode to Sleeping Beauty.  Here's how it looks in the bottle:

"Briar Rose" is a lovely red polish with a golden shimmer.  The formula of "Briar Rose" was amazing and applied with ease.  After a single coat this nail polish was fully opaque with no visible streak marks.  But I applied a second coat for the pictures and to test the wear time.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Briar Rose" for a full six days before I noticed any wear and tear.  See the gorgeous shimmer up close:

Overall I am in love with A England's "Briar Rose."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish is stunning and I plan on wearing it again and again until the bottle runs dry.
