Bow Nail Art

Hello everyone and Happy Halloween!  It's one last post pink post in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  So without further ado, here is some semi nail fail pink bows!

First I selected some fun polishes:

Color Club's "Enchanted", OPI's "Elephantastic Pink" and Bundle Monster Color's "Restless Dahlia"

I started by using Color Club's "Enchanted" as a base coat to make the pink bows pop!  Here's how "Enchanted" looked on my nails:

Next I used some dotting tools from Bundle Monster to create the bows using OPI's "Elephantastic Pink" and Bundle Monster Color's "Restless Dahlia."  As you can see my freehand skills are't the best but I think it is a pretty fair first attempt at bows!

Overall I like the concept of this nail art even if my execution wasn't so stunning.  I will definitely try this look out again!

If you want to know more about Color Club's "Enchanted", OPI's "Elephantastic Pink" or Bundle Monster Colors "Restless Dahlia" check out my posts from earlier this year!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Twisted Pink"

Hey all and happy Monday!  (Hopefully you all survived the hardest day of the work week.)  As October comes to an end there aren't that many more pink posts.  But before we move into November here's today's nail polish - Sally Hansen Extreme Wear's "Twisted Pink."

"Twisted Pink" is a bright Barbie pink with a hint of shimmer.  The formula of this polish was great and applied with ease.  After two coats, "Twisted Pink" was completely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for five days before I noticed a few small chips.

Overall I am really please with Sally Hansen Extreme wear's "Twisted Pink."  This nail polish is fun and happy and has been great fun to wear!  I will definitely continue wearing "Twisted Pink" until the bottle runs out!

Essie "Pink About It"

Hello everyone and happy Saturday!  It has been raining for the last 36 hours and I'm ready for the sun to come back out.  While I wait I picked out a light bright polish to brighten my mood.  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Essie's "Pink About It."

"Pink About It" is unsurprisingly a really pretty light pink polish.  Formula wise "Pink About It" was really nice and applied well.  After two coats the polish was full opaque with no visible streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Pink About It" for five full days before I noticed a few minor tip chips.

Overall I quite like Essie's "Pink About It."  The color is super pretty and it looked great with my skin tone.  You'll definitely be seeing me rock this gorgeous pink again soon!

Sephora by OPI "I'm Wired"

Hey guys and happy almost Friday!  (We've nearly made it!)  It is still October for a few more days which means the pink nail polish keeps going!  So that means today's nail polish is Sephora by OPI's "I'm Wired" from a mini set that looks like this:

"I'm Wired" is a lovely fuchsia colored polish.  The formula of this nail polish was good and applied with ease.  After two coats "I'm Wired" was entirely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "I'm Wired" for five full days before there were a few small chips.

Overall I am happy with Sephora by OPI's "I'm Wired."  Everything about this nail polish is perfect and I can't wait to wear it again soon!

Ciaté "Amazing Gracie"

Hey all and happy Tuesday!  Today has been less than amazing but here's to nails brightening up my day!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Ciaté's "Amazing Gracie" which was part of their 2013 Advent Calendar.  The calendar looks like this:

"Amazing Gracie" is a really pretty baby pink polish that is perfect for a demure look.  Formula wise this polish was great and applied well to my nails.  After two coats, "Amazing Gracie" was not opaque and very streaky.  I gave a third coat a try to see if it helped and while it did make "Amazing Gracie" more opaque it still didn't look the best.  In terms of chipping I was able to wear this nail polish for two days before it began to chip off.

Overall I am a bit disappointed by Ciaté's "Amazing Gracie."  I wanted to love it more than I actually did.  I have several similarly colored polishes that I think look better on my nails so chances are this one won't be in my collection for long.

Sally Hansen Insta Dri "Peppy Le Fuchsia"

Hi guys and happy Sunday.  Who else is enjoying a lazy day?  Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Insta Dri's "Peppy Le Fuchsia" which I just had to have because of the name!

"Peppy Le Fuchsia" is an absolutely gorgeous hot pink creme polish.  Formula wise "Peppy Le Fuchsia" was perfect and applied with ease.  My only semi-compliant is the brush was so wide that I had to be very careful on my narrow nails.  After a single coat the nail polish was fully opaque and streak free.  But as usual I applied a second coat for the photos.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Peppy Le Fuchsia" for six days before there were some small tip chips.

Overall I am thrilled with Sally Hansen Insta Dri's "Peppy Le Fuchsia."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish from the color to the application to the wear time was wonderful!  I definitely plan on wearing this nail polish again and again!

Tie-Dye Stamped Nails

Hey everyone and welcome to the weekend!  Nearly two-thirds of the way through October and I felt it was time for some all pink nail art to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  So without further ado, here is today's gorgeous design!

First I decided to selected a stamping plate - so I picked out Bundle Monster's XL-456 which looks like this:

As you can see it is has lots of tie-dye designs!  Next I needed to pick out some fun pink polishes:

Sally Hansen Insta Dry "Peppy Le Fuchsia", Bundle Monster Color "Restless Dahlia" and "Bam! White."

After picking out some polishes I painted my nails with two coats of Sally Hansen Insta Dry's "Peppy Le Fuchsia" to be the base of the design.  My nails then looked like this:

After this I started placing dots of BundleMonster Colors "Bam! White" and Restless Dahlia" on the plate and then swiping to mix them.  After that I placed the designs on my nails so they looked like this:

If you want to know more about Bundle Monster Colors "Restless Dahlia" check out my post from earlier this month!

Overall I am really pleased with how well this design turned out!  It looks so great and I definitely want to try the tie-dye designs out in other colors as well!

Ella + Mila "Pinktini"

Hi everyone and happy happy Friday!  (Hooray for the weekend!)  Today's nail polish is Ella + Mila's "Pinktini" which I believe I purchased at Target when they first started carrying this brand.

"Pinktini" is not surprisingly a bright coral pink polish.  Formula wise this nail polish was the tiniest bit watery however it still applied well to my nails.  After two coats, "Pinktini" was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Pinktini" for four days before it began to chip.

Overall I like Ella + Mila's "Pinktini."  I adore the coral color and it will be perfect for Spring and Summer!  I also want to get some more colors by Ella + Mila!

OPI "Elephantastic Pink"

Hey everyone and happy Wednesday!  Halfway through October and I still have more pink polishes to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  (Apparently I own a lot more pink nail polish than I ever realized!)  So without further ado, today's nail polish is OPI's "Elephantastic Pink."

"Elephantastic Pink" is a really fun hot pink polish!  The formula of this nail polish was amazing and it applied so well!  After two coats "Elephantastic Pink" entirely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for a full week before my nails grew out and needed to be repainted.

Overall I am really happy with OPI's "Elephantastic Pink."  Everything about this polish is perfect and I'll definitely be wearing it a lot more often!

Wet N' Wild Megalast "Candylicious"

Hello everyone and happy Monday!  The work week seems to last forever but the weekend just flies by!  But we're only halfway through October so there are plenty more pink nail polishes in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month to help light up your day!  Today's nail polish is Wet N' Wild Megalast's "Candylicious" which has been in my collection for nearly eight years now!

"Candylicious" is a pretty standard pink colored polish - it isn't too bright or too dull.  The formula of this nail polish was pretty good and it applied to my nails easily.  After two coats "Candylicious" was pretty much opaque however there were no visible streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for two days before it began to flake off at the tips, which isn't so surprising since it is a very affordable drugstore brand.

Overall I have mixed feelings about Wet N' Wild's "Candylicious."  This polish isn't anything special and won't be staying around in my collection much longer.

Zoya "Micky"

Hello guys and happy Saturday!  This has been a very long week but tonight I have a wedding to attend for some very long time family friends and it is going to make the whole week worth it!  Do you have any plans for today?  So without any further ado, today's nail polish is Zoya's "Micky" which I just had to have because I love anything with a Disney-esque name!

"Micky" is a bright hot coral pink polish that would be perfect for Summer!  Formula wise "Micky" was watery but applied fairly well when I took my time to not flood my nail beds.  After two coats the nail polish was fully opaque and streak free.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Micky" for five days before there some small tip chips.

Overall I am really pleased with Zoya's "Micky."  I love the color and it looked so nice on my nails and I got a lot of compliments.  I can hardly wait to wear this nail polish again - I especially think it will be great for Spring and Summer!

Color Club "OMG"

Hey all and happy Friday Eve!  Hurricane Michael is currently blazing a path though North Carolina so the weather is gross.  However inside I picked the only nail polish in my collection that could brighten the day!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Color Club's "OMG."

"OMG" is an emoji glitter featuring smiley faces, poop emojis, ghost emojis, hearts, lip emojis and hot pink glitter in a clear base.  Formula wise this polish was watery but the glitter piece come out of the bottle with ease.  Since this polish is a glitter I decided to test it out over several colored polishes.

The first polish I tried out with "OMG" was Peggy Sage's "Bubble Sky."  This look was fun and showed off the glitter well.

The second polish I tested out with "OMG" was Essie's "East Hampton Cottage."  The pink glitter worked well with the baby pink polish but it didn't show off the emojis well.

The third and final polish I tested out with "OMG" was China Glaze's "Cast A Spell."  This combination was fun and really made the glitter pop!

If you want to know more about Peggy Sage's "Bubble Sky", Essie's "East Hampton Cottage" or China Glaze's "Cast A Spell" check out my posts from earlier this year.

Overall I really like Color Club's "OMG."  Everything about this nail polish is fun and very different to all the other glitters I've ever owned!  While this isn't an every day kind of polish it is such a fun way to celebrate for special occasions!

A England "Katherine Of Aragon"

Hey guys and happy Tuesday!  Who else is having the longest week ever?  Today's nail polish is A England's "Katherine Of Aragon" another one of King Henry VIII's wives from the Tudoresque collection.

"Katherine Of Aragon is a really pretty silver dusty purple/pink.  Formula wise this nail polish was amazing applied really well.  After only a single coat "Katherine Of Aragon" was fully opaque with no streak marks.  But as usual I added a second coat for the photo.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Katherine Of Aragon" for six full days before I began to get some small tip chips.

Overall I am absolutely in love with A England's "Katherine Of Aragon."  It is such a lovely color and the formula so fantastic!  I will be wearing this nail polish again and again until the bottle runs out!

China Glaze "Eat, Pink & Be Merry"

Hey all and happy Sunday!  Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Eat, Pink & Be Merry" a fun polish from their 2016 Winter Collection.

"Eat, Pink & Be Merry" is a really pretty pastel baby pink.  Formula wise this nail polish was slightly watery but because I have a mini bottle the small brush made it easy to apply.  After two coats, "Eat, Pink & Be Merry" was not completely opaque but was streak free.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three days before there were a few minor tip chips.

Overall I really like China Glaze's ""Eat, Pink & Be Merry."  Despite the polish not being opaque the color was really nice and makes for a great neutral look for the few times I want to tone it down.  I'll definitely be wearing this nail polish again!

Bundle Monster Color "Restless Dahlia"

Hi all!  I hope everyone had a nice Monday!  Since October has started that means so has the pink nail polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's nail polish is Bundle Monster Colors "Restless Dahlia" which is a stamping polish.

"Restless Dahlia" is a really lovely pastel coral colored polish.  The formula of this nail polish was slightly watery and if I had not wiped the brush off it would have flooded my nail beds.  After two coats, "Restless Dahlia" was entirely opaque with no streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for four days before there were a few chips.

Overall despite the watery formula I really like Bundle Monster Colors "Restless Dahlia."  The color is gorgeous and it stamps very well!  I have plans to continue to wear and stamp with this polish until the bottle runs out!
