Mani x Me April 2021 Box

Hi guys - here's another "throwback" as I continue to dig out of my backlog.  Today's post features Maniology's Mani x Me Box from April 2021.  The month's theme was fairy kingdom, which is a sweet theme for Springtime!  Here are this month's nail polishes:

"Fairytale" and "Morning Mist"

"Fairytale" is an absolutely gorgeous fuchsia with holographic glitter - which is perfect for a fairy princess look!  "Morning Mist" is a very pretty purple with silver shimmer.   These two nail polish are so lovely and I cannot wait to try them out with the stamping plates!  Here is the first stamping plate for this month:

Stamping plate MXM053 has all sorts of adorable fairies and bugs.  It is such an adorable set and it is perfect for Spring nail art!  Here is the second stamping plate:

Plate MXM054 has all sorts of full nail designs with flowers and butterflies.  All the different fairies are also adorably cute!  Here is this month's extra surprise:

This month's surprise extra item is butterfly nail decals!  These decals have all sorts of different colors butterflies and they vary in size as well.  These are so sweet and make for an easy nail art design.

Overall I am very happy with April's Mani x Me Box.  I love receiving my box each month and it always brightens my day when it arrives!

Salon Perfect "Coming In Hot"

Hey everyone and happy sunny Monday!  Today's nail polish is Salon Perfect's "Coming In Hot" which is pretty fitting since the sun has decided to come join us after some snow over the weekend.  Salon Perfect is a drugstore brand sold at Walmart.  Here's how this polish looks in the bottle:

"Coming In Hot" is a silver polish that the bottle states is holographic.  I was very skeptical since this is a drugstore brand but surprisingly "Coming In Hot" was actually holographic on my nails!  The formula of this polish was thinner, but is allowed me to easily build up on my nails.  I applied four thin coats and the polish was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  Look at this holo shimmer up close:

Overall I am really happy with Salon Perfect's "Coming In Hot."  This nail polish was great and I love an affordable holographic polish!  I cannot wait to try this polish out in some nail art as it will be the perfect addition!

Mani x Me March 2021 Box

Hi all - I'm stilling trying to catch up on my black log so there's a second blog for the day!  So without further ado, today's second post feature's Maniology's Mani x Me Box from March 2021.  Each month the box has a different theme, this month's is Sultry & Sweet.  Here are March's nail polishes:

"Lace" and "Leather"

This month's box had a surprise - a non-stamping polish!  "Lace" is a sheer black nail polish that looks really nice for layering designs.  "Leather" is a deep red stamping polish - though the color does not show up well on camera.  Here is the first stamping plate:

MXM051 is such s sweet plate that features loads of delicate lace designs.  I cannot wait to try this plate out!  Here is the second plate for this month:

MXM052 definitely goes for the sultry side of this month's theme.  The designs are unique but not really my taste, though I'm sure I will use the plate for a future design.  The surprise extra this month is unexpectedly another stamping plate!  Here is the third plate for this month:

The third plate this month is my absolute favorite - it has the most gorgeous designs!  These lace patterns are perfect for Springtime or formula events (assuming we ever get those back!)

Overall March's Mani x Me Box has been just as wonderful as all the previous boxes.  I continue to be amazed by all the new polishes and plates - they have yet to send a duplicate!

Pahlish "Slytherin"

Hello all and happy Sunday!  Today's nail polish is Pahlish's "Slytherin" from their Harry Potter collection.  Now I was super thrilled to grab this polish because my Hogwarts house is Slytherin but also just look at how gorgeous this color is:

"Slytherin" is a stunning deep green with gold flakies - the photos literally do not do this nail polish justice!  The formula of "Slytherin" is perfect and it applied so easily to my nails.  "Slytherin" is also a single coat nail polish, which is always a perk!  Look at at all the flakies up close:

Overall I am thoroughly in love with Pahlish's "Slytherin."  Everything about "Slytherin" is perfect and I cannot wait to wear this polish a lot more often!

Mani x Me February 2021 Box

Hello everyone in my effort catch up - here's a second blog post for the day!  Today's post features Maniology's Mani x Me Box from February 2021.  This month's theme was aromatherapy, which is just what I need after the last almost two years!  Mani x Me is a monthly subscription box that includes two stamping polishes, two stamping plates and a surprise item.  Here is this month's nail polishes:

"Mint" and "Chamomile"

This month's nail polishes definitely match the aromatherapy and calming feel by being named after teas.  "Mint" is unsurprisingly a gorgeous pastel green creme.  While "Chamomile" is a pretty copper/gold shimmer.  Both are lovely colors and will create unique stamped designs.  Here is the first plate for this month:

The first plate this month is MxM049 which features all sorts of flowers and plants.  It is so cute and the flowers will make a sweet delicate design.  Here is the second plate:

The second plate is MXM050 which has lots of simplistic bottle designs.  This plate is cute, but isn't really my style so I probably won't use it too often.  Here is the extra treat for February:

This month's extra is perfect for my sad dry nail beds... it's cuticle oil!!  The scent is "Joyful Jasmine" and it is such a sweet floral scent, and the smell is so calming.

Overall I am once again thrilled with my Mani x Me Box.  Each month I am always surprised with such unique and beautiful items.  I have no plans to end by subscription any time soon!

OPI "Chic From Ears To Tail"

Hi guys and happy Saturday!  We got about 2-3 inches of snow last night, which is a good amount for us here in the south.  But having a snow day has given me the chance to try out some nail polishes.  Here's today's nail polish: OPI's "Which From Ears To Tail" which was part of a Mickey/Minnie Mouse collection.  Here's how this lovely polish looks in the bottle:

"Chic From Ears To Tail" is a cute baby pink creme.  The formula for this polish was slightly watery, but it was easy to build up the color.  I used four coats of polish to get an entirely opaque look without any streak marks.  Look at this pretty polish up close:

Overall I am really pleased with OPI's "Chic From Ears To Tail."  Everything about this nail polish is lovely and this polish will be perfect for Spring and Summer!

January's first stamping plate is MXM047 which has the entire alphabet is a really cool font - and it has multiple options for the letters.  The plate also features loads of roses, which are gorgeous!  This may be one of my all time favorite plates!

The second stamping plate is MXM048 which has cupids and this beautiful full nail cloud design!  I am loving this plate too!

Anchor & Heart Lacquer "You Had Me At Jell-O (Shots)"

Hello everyone and happy Friday!  (Who else is ready for the weekend?)  Today's nail polish is Anchor & heart Lacquer's "You Had Me At Jell-O (Shots)."  I purchased this polish from Polish Pick-Up in either 2020 or 2021 and it's perfect for the weekend of snow we're about to have!  Here's how this gorgeous glitter looks in the bottle:

"You Had Me At Jell-O (Shots)" is a stunning glitter that features a variety of glitter sizes in pink, green, gold and silver.  I have no nail polish like this in my collection at all and it is so unique!  "You Had Me At Jell-O (Shots)" can be built up to wear on its own or it can be worn as a top coat over a creme.  Just look at this gorgeous glitter up close:

Overall I am super happy with Anchor & Heart Lacquer's "You Had Me At Jell-O (Shot)" - everything from the unique glitter to the name is fabulous!  I loved wearing this polish solo but I am excited to try it out as a top coat soon!

Maniology "Green House"

Hi guys and happy Thursday!  Today's nail polish is Maniology's "Green House" which came in one of their Mani x Me boxes.  "Green House" is a stamping polish which can easily be used with their stamping plates.  Here's how the polish looks in the bottle:

"Green House" is not shockingly a green nail polish - it is a lovely forest green creme.  The formula of this stamping polish is great - not too thick at all!  It only took a single coat for this nail polish to be fully opaque and there were no streak marks.  Here's how "Green House" looks up close:

Overall I am very pleased with Maniology's "Green House."  There is nothing I dislike about this polish and I cannot wait to use it in a stamped design very soon!

"Hopscotch" is a pretty red-orange creme that would look good all year long!  The formula of this nail polish is perfect and applied with ease.  After two coats, "Hopscotch" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  Here's how "Hopscotch" looks up close:

Hello all and happy Wednesday  Today's post is October 2020's Mani x Me Box.  (Still a little behind on posts, but I am catching up slowly!)  The theme this month is Unraveled, which is a perfect Winter theme!  Mani x Me is a subscription box that comes monthly directly to you.  Each box includes two stamping nail polishes, two stamping plates and a surprise nail item!  Here are this month's nail polishes:

Maniology "Crisp" and "Cozy"

Both polishes this month are stunning!  "Crisp" is the perfect army green while "Cozy" is a stunning silver and gold shimmer!  These might be two of my favorite nail polishes that I have received from Maniology this year!  Here are October's stamping plates:

First up is MXM041 which has some gorgeous floral designs that I cannot wait to try out!  Also the houndstooth is absolutely perfect for Autumn and Winter!

The second plate this month is MXM042 which has all things Autumn on it - from coffee and pies to pumpkins and leaves!  It really does make me want to curl up with a good book while the leaves float down outside!

This month's extra nail item is actually a body lotion from Island Soap - and it smells absolutely amazing! Every time I put this lotion on I feel like I am sitting in a hammock in Hawaii.  My hands feels very moisturized after using this lotion and I may need to see if I can order a larger bottle!

Overall I am still thrilled by Maniology's Mani x Me Boxes.  I always look forward to the nail mail and I have yet to receive any duplicates, which is super refreshing!  I can't wait for next month's box!
