Bundle Monster Plate: XL471 - Floral Nails

Hey guys and happy Saturday!  I can't believe June is almost over!  We're halfway through 2018 but it feels like yesterday was New Year's Eve!  So to celebrate I have decided to do some fun floral nail art!  Here's the polishes I picked:

Sally Hansen Magnetic's "Silver Elements" and Bundle Monster Color's "Restless Dahlia."

First I applied two coats of Sally Hansen Magnetic's "Silver Elements" as the base and used the magnet to create the waves.  Here's how it looked:

Next I selected the stamping plate from Bundle Monster.  It is plate BM-XL471and it looks like this:

Next I applied my trusty coat of Bundle Monster Color's "Poli-Peel" to make clean up easier.  Next I simply used Bundle Monster Color's "Restless Dahlia" to stamp on the lovely floral designs.  The finished look is super sweet:

If you want to know more about Sally Hansen Magnetic "Silver Elements" check out my post from earlier this month.

Overall I think this nail art turned out cute thought the silver hides the delicate design some.  Next time I think I will try a darker stamping color with "Silver Elements" or a lighter base color for "Restless Dahlia" but other than that I had a good time wearing this look!

Nails INC "Porchester Square"

Hey all and happy Friday!  Who else is ready for the weekend?  Today's nail polish is Nails INC's "Porchester Square" which was part of a special collection released by QVC.  (QVC is an American shopping TV channel.). The set was called The London Collection and looks like this:

"Porchester Square" is a lovely dusty beige with a hint of lilac.  The formula was wonderful and very easy to apply.  After two coats "Porchester Square" was completely opaque and had no streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for six days before it began to chip off in chunks.

Overall I am super happy with Nails INC's "Porchester Square."  There is nothing that I don't like about this nail polish and I can see it being one of my go to nudes!

Bundle Monster Color "Storm Cloud"

Hi all and happy Wednesday!  The sun surprised me and finally came back out, but I was prepared for another day of rain so here's a grey rain cloud.  Today's nail polish is Bundle Monster Color's "Storm Cloud."

"Storm Cloud" is a nice dark grey stamping polish purchased on the Bundle Monster website.  Formula wise this nail polish was good but leaned to the slightly thick side - which is good for a stamping.  After only one coat "Storm Cloud" was fully opaque, but I did apply a second coat the for photo above.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for five days before I noticed any chips.

If you want to see how "Storm Cloud" stamps check out my Clock Nails from earlier this year!

Overall I am really pleased with Bundle Monster Color's "Storm Cloud."  There is nothing bad abut this nail polish and I will continue to use it for stamping and wearing on its own!

China Glaze "Hey Sailor"

Hello guys and happy Tuesday!  It's dreary and rainy here but I picked a bright red color to brighten the day up!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is a happy summer color!  So without further ado, here's China Glaze's "Hey Sailor."

"Hey Sailor" is a bold red colored creme polish.  The formula of this polish was perfect and applied very well on to my nails.  But I think the best surprise of "Hey Sailor" was that it is a one-coater which makes it the perfect red polish for a night out!  (I did however apply a second coat for the photo above to gauge how well it wears.)  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for six days before I noticed some chips.

Overall I am in love with China Glaze's "Hey Sailor."  Literally everything about this polish is absolutely fantastic!  I cannot wait to wear this nail polish again - I especially think it is going to look perfect as a pedicure around the pool!

Lush Pumice Power

Hi all and happy Sunday!  Today's post is a little different because instead of nail polish it features a nail care/foot care product.  And that product is Lush's Pumice Power which looks like this:

As you can see it is a scrub that you can use on the scaly part of your body (in my case my poor callused feet.)  Pumice Power smells lovely like oranges and is made with actual rock so it really scrubs off the dead skin.  I decided to test it on my dancer's feet (18 years of dance and 12 years of gymnastics have created monster feet!). Here's how my feet looked before:

After using Pumice Power only once I noticed my feet felt so much smoother.  So I continued to use it several times (3-5 times) a week during my regular evening shower.  After one week here's how my heels looked:

Pleased by the results I continued on with the same routine for an additional week.  My feet are so happy and continue to look better after each use.  After two weeks my feet looked like this:

Overall I am super pleased by Lush's Pumice Power.  I plan to continue using it to make my feet look great for Summer!  It also retails for $4.95 (USD) a bar!

Wet N' Wild "Black Creme"

Hey everyone and happy Saturday!  It's nice and sunny but I decided to go vampy today!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Wet N' Wild's "Black Creme."

As you might predict "Black Creme" is in fact a black creme.  The formula of "Black Creme" was...  After only one coat the polish was entirely opaque and streak free.  However I applied a second coat for eh picture above.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for four days before there were some obvious chips.

Overall I like Wet N' Wild's "Black Creme."  Everything about this polish makes it the perfect black for nail art and as a base coat for glitter.  And what's even better it is it a drugstore brand and affordable!

Sinful Colors "aPEAsing"

Hi all and happy Thursday!  I'm so glad tomorrow is the weekend!  Today's nail polish is Sinful Colors "aPEAsing" which has an adorable name.

"aPEAsing" is a really nice pastel aqua or mint colored polish.  The formula was very thick and I struggled a bit to get it on my nails evenly.  After two coats this nail polish was entirely opaque with no streak marks and looked really lovely only nails.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "aPEAsing" for three days before it began to have some small chips.

Overall I am really pleased with Sinful Colors "aPEAsing."  Aside from the formula everything was perfect so I will wear this nail polish again!  (It is also my favorite color.)

Disney for Target "Mickey Glitter"

Hello all and happy hump day!  Today's nail polish is Disney for Target "Mickey Glitter" which was part of a trio that was released in a limited edition collection between Disney and Target.  The set looks like this:

"Mickey Glitter" is an adorable glitter polish that is shaped like Mickey Mouse's head.  The formula of this nail polish was pretty decent for a large specialty glitter.  The clear base was thick but the glitter came out of the bottle well enough.  And as with all glitters it isn't made to be worn alone so I plan to try it out over some creme colored polishes in the future!

Overall the Disney for Target :Mickey Glitter" is very cute and will look nice in some nail art for my next trip to the parks!  But it definitely isn't an every day wear.

Ciaté "Let It Snow"

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday!  It feels like it should be Friday already but alas it isn't.  So to pep me back up here's some glitter!  Today's nail polish is actually a loose glitter called Ciaté's "Let It Snow."  This glitter came as part of Ciaté's annual Advent Calendar - this was part of the 2014 set that looks like this:

"Let It Snow" is a silver shiny loose glitter.  It looks like this in the bottle:

Since it is a loose glitter I decided to use it as a top coat on top of Orly Color Blast's "Ice-olated" which is a pretty frosty mint polish.  The looked turned out to be very Wintery and pretty.

If you want to know more about Orly Color Blast's "Ice-olated" check out my post from earlier this year.

Overall I like this loose glitter but it does make such a giant mess.  I wish I could find a less messy way to wear "Let It Snow"!

Hello all and happy Father's Day to all who celebrate.  Today's nail polish is Covergirl's "Piña Colada" which is helping pretend every day this Summer is a day at the beach!

"Piña Colada" is a lovely pastel yellow polish.  Formula wise this nail polish was pretty good and applied well.  After two coats, "Piña Colada" was fully opaque with just a few streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Piña Colada" for five full days before noticed some minimal tip wear!

Overall I am really pleased with Covergirl's "Piña Colada."  Everything about this nail polish is nice and it looks so happy on my nails.  I definitely will wear this nail polish a lot more often!

Cupcake Polish "Queen Frostine"

Hi everyone and happy Fri-YAY!  I hope everyone has started off their weekend with a bang!  Today's nail polish is Cupcake Polish's "Queen Frostine" from their Candyland Collection.  I purchased this nail polish on Live. Love. Polish. and have zero regrets!

"Queen Frostine" is an absolutely stunning bright blue polish with silver chunky glitter.  The formula of this polish was wonderful and the application was like no other glitter polish I have ever tired.  (Read: PERFECT!). After two coats "Queen Frostine" was entirely opaque and had no streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for six full days before there was wear on the tips.

Overall I am absolutely in love with Cupcake Polish's "Queen Frostine."  In all my years of nail polish I have never had a better glitter and it looks so gorgeous on my nails!  I may never take this nail polish off ever!

ULTA "Ginger Peach"

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday!  Today's nail polish is ULTA's "Ginger Peach."  ULTA is an American beauty supply store that sells make-up, nail polish, body products and hair items.

"Ginger Peach" is a lovely reddish-peach color with a hint of shimmer.  The formula of "Ginger Peach" was great and it applied nicely to my nails.  After two coats the nail polish was full opaque with no visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Ginger Peach" for six days which really surprised me as I haven't had as much luck with other bottles of ULTA polish.

Overall I am happy with ULTA's "Ginger Peach."  Everything about this nail polish was fantastic and I can't wait to wear it again soon!

Sally Hansen Magnetic "Silver Elements"

Hello all!  Sorry for the delay in posting some bad storms came through and knocked the wifi out.  Luckily it is back up and running now!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Magnetic's "Silver Elements" which is unsurprisingly a polish that you can create a design with a magnet on.

"Silver Elements" is a standard silver color with shimmer that turns into a darker grey when activated by the magnet.  The formula was absolutely fantastic and it applied easily to my nails.  This nail polish is designed to be worn as a single coat and it lived up to that hype.  After only a single coat "Silver Elements" was fully opaque with no streaks.  Applying the magnet is super easy because it is on the cap - which pops off and is separate from the brush.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for three days before there were some chips.

Overall I quite like Sally Hansen Magnetic's "Silver Elements."  It is a fun occasion nail polish that creates a unique look on the nails.  I will certainly wear this nail polish again!

Dupes: Covergirl "Rogue Red" and China Glaze "Riveting"

Hey guys and happy Saturday!  Where I live a lot of the high schools graduated yesterday so it is party weekend to celebrate!  Today's nail polish is a comparison post between Covergirl's "Rogue Red" and China Glaze's "Riveting."  I decided to test them both out because they look very similar in the bottle:

Covergirl's "Rogue Red" and China Glaze's "Riveting."

As you can see the polishes are very similar in the bottle but on the nail they are not exact dupes.  "Rogue Red" has the tiniest bit more red in the background color but both polishes are stunning in the shimmer department.  That being said while they aren't an exact match to each other you probably don't need both in your collection.

If you want to know more about China Glaze's "Riveting" or Covergirl's "Rogue Red" check out my previous posts.

Overall I really like both Covergirl's "Rogue Red" and China Glaze's "Riveting."  However, given the choice between them if I could only own one I would definitely go with China Glaze's "Riveting" because I like the brighter orange.  However both polishes were limited releases - "Riveting" for the movie The Hunger Games and "Rogue Red" for the second movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Nicole by OPI "My Sol Shines Brighter"

Hello all and happy Thursday!  Today's nail polish is Nicole by OPI's "My Sol Shines Brighter" which part of a limited edition Special K cereal box release from 2014.  You had to collect enough codes off the boxes to redeem online.  (Shout out to my parents who helped me eat all those boxes of cereal!)

"My Sol Shines Brighter" is a bright reddish-pink nail polish.  The formula of "My Sol Shines Brighter" was slightly watery but it still applied very well to my nails.  After two coats the polish was completely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "My Sol Shines Brighter" for five full days before there were chips.

Overall I am pleased with Nicole by OPI's "My Sol Shines Brighter."  This nail polish is fun and happy and I can see myself wearing it a lot - especially as a pedicure color!

China Glaze "Man Hunt"

Hey guys and happy Tuesday!  I hope you are having a wonderful day even though my day was a bit hectic!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Man Hunt."

"Man Hunt" is a bright royal blue nail polish.  The formula of "Man Hunt" was goody but the tiniest bit watery.  However it still applied well to my nails.  After one coat the nail polish was opaque and had no visible streak marks.  That being said I always apply a second coat to help gage the wear time.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Man Hunt" for five days before the tip wear and tear was very noticeable.

If you want to see how "Man Hunt" compares to OPI's "Dating A Royal" check out this awesome dupe post from a while back!

Overall I am really pleased with China Glaze's "Man Hunt."  Everything about this nail polish is nice and I plan on wearing it again and again throughout the Summer.

F.U.N Lacquer "Flashing Lights"

Hello guys and happy Monday!  Today's nail polish is F.U.N Lacquer's "Flashing Lights" which is a polish I picked up in a mystery goody bag from the website Live Love Polish.  This is my first time trying out F.U.N Lacquer and I am super excited about it!

"Flashing Lights" is a stunning extremely pastel purple holo.  The formula was absolutely perfect and it applied with complete ease!  And after two coats "Flashing Lights" was entirely opaque and looked stunning on my nails.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for a full week before my nails grew out and needed to be repainted.

Overall I couldn't be happier with F.U.N Lacquer's "Flashing Lights."  The holo is stunning and the wear time is fabulous.  You'll be seeing me wear this nail polish again and again until the bottle tuns out!  I'll also be buying more nail polish from this brand!

Pink Dotticure

Hello guys and a very happy Sunday!  Instead of regular nail polish today I decided to try some simple nail art featuring polka dots!  First off I selected some nail polish:

OPI "Look At My Bow!", Wet N' Wild "Frosted Fuchsia", Essie "Go With The Flowy", Essie "Mod Square" and Sephora by OPI "Keep Me On My Mistletoes".

Next I selected Wet N' Wild's "Frosted Fuchsia" as the base coat.  My nails looked like this:

Then I used the other four nail polishes to create the various sized dots using some nail art tools I purchased on Amazon.  The set looks like this:

After that I just randomly placed the dots on my nails until I was pleased with the look.  And despite it currently being June this nail art would look great for Valentine's Day!

If you want to know more about OPI's "Look At My Bow!", Wet N' Wild's "Frosted Fuchsia", Essie "Go With The Flowy"Essie "Mod Square" or Sephora by OPI's "Keep Me On My Mistletoes" check out some of my previous posts!

Overall I am really pleased with how this simple design turned out!  Let me know what other nail art designs you'd like to see in the comments!

Essie "Mezmerized"

Hey all and happy Saturday!  This post was actually meant for yesterday but the wifi at my house went out.  The good news is it is back on now!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Essie's "Mesmerized" which is perfect for Summer and the beach!

"Mesmerized" is a stunning royal blue creme polish.  (Who else wants to be a mermaid?!?). The formula of this nail polish was great and applied with ease.  After one coat "Mesmerized" was fully opaque with no streak marks.  However I did apply a second coat for the photo above.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Mesmerized" for four days before there were a few small chips.

Overall I am really pleased with Essie's "Mesmerized."  Everything about this nail polish makes me happy and I cannot wait to wear it again!  With Summer in full swing while I can't always be at the beach I can stare at these nails and pretend!
