China Glaze "Good Witch?"

Hi everyone and happy and of October!  Today's pink polish will be the last one for this year's Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  (Aren't you excited to see a different colored nail polish next time I post!) But first for the final pink polish of October 2015, which is China Glaze's "Good Witch?"

"Good Witch?" is a baby pink polish with hot pink micro-glitter in it.  Formula wise "Good Witch?" is very easy to apply and is a nice muted nail polish.  After two coats the polish was fairly opaque and there were almost no visible streak marks.  As for chipping I was able to wear "Good Witch?" for about four days before there were some very minor tip chips.

Overall I am very pleased with China Glaze's Good Witch?"  Everything about this polish is great and I plan on wearing it again soon!

"Rooney" is a gorgeous bubble gum pink polish.  Formula wise "Rooney" was a bit thick but it was still easy to apply.  After two coats the nail polish was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping I was able to wear "Rooney" for about three days before there were noticeable chips.

Overall I really like Zoya's "Rooney."  Everything about this nail polish is nice and I really love the color, it is one of my favorites!  I plan on wearing "Rooney" a lot next Spring and Summer when the weather warms back up!

Essie "Pinking About You"

Hi everyone!  It is still October, so that means it is time for another pink nail polish to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  Today's nail polish is Essie's "Pinking Of You."

"Pinking Of You" is part of a mini set I purchased last Autumn.  The set is actually the 2014 Breast Cancer collection that Essie does every October and looks like this:

"Pinking Of You" is a light pink and white glitter in a clear base.  Formula wise "Pinking Of You" is amazingly fantastic and it was super easy to apply!  (Which is not easy to find in a glitter polish!)  Of course "Pinking Of You" will never be completely opaque because it isn't meant to be, instead it is meant to be a top coat over a colored base.  So I decided to test it out over a few polishes.

The first polish I decided to try with "Pinking Of You" is Essence's "Girl's Night Out" which is a hot pink with shimmer in it.  I loved this combination it was happy and girly and would be perfect for Valentine's Day!

If you want to know more about Essence's "Girl's Night Out" check out my post from earlier this month:  http://perfectlypolished12.blogspot.com/2015/10/essence-girls-night-out.html

The second polish I decided to try with "Pinking Of You" is Formula X for Sephora's "Determined" which is a chocolate brown polish with a hint of shimmer.  I chose this combination because pink and brown always look good together!

Overall I am very pleased with Essie's "Pinking Of You."  Everything about this polish is fantastic and I plan on wearing it again and also trying it out over other color polishes!

"#GlowStick" is a neon hot pink nail polish.  Formula wise this polish was very easy to apply and could almost be worn as a one-coater, however I did apply a second coat for the pictures.  After two coats of polish, "#GlowStick" was completely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping I was able to wear this nail polish for about five full days before there were any noticeable tip chips.

Overall I really like Covergirl's "#GlowStick."  Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and looked great on my nails!  I plan on wearing this polish a lot more often!

Essence "Girl's Night Out"

Hi all! Today's nail polish is Essence's "Girl's Night Out" which I think is the perfect kind of nail polish to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month with because ever woman deserves to go out with her friends!

"Girl's Night Out" is a hot pink nail polish with a lot of pink shimmer in it.  Formula wise this polish is good and was easy to apply.  After two coats of "Girl's Night Out" was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping I was able to wear this polish for about three days before there were visible tip chips.  In the past I have had bad luck with Essence nail polishes staining my nails  and "Girl's Night Out" was no exception, unfortunately.

Overall Essence's "Girl's Night Out" is a decent nail polish and it has a nice formula and color, but its downfall is the staining.  I will probably wear this nail polish again but only for special occasions/short time periods that way this polish won't stain my nails!

Sally Hansen Color Foil "Titanium Flush"

Hi everyone!  It is still October so you know what that means, another pink nail polish!  Today's polish is Sally Hansen's Color Foil in "Titanium Flush."

"Titanium Flush" is a color foil polish which means that it makes the nails look like it has foil on it.  The foil in this case is fuchsia with silver.  Formula wise "Titanium Flush" was easy to apply and was opaque after two coats of polish.  There however were lots of visible streak marks.  As for chipping, this nail polish is mean to be worn without a top coat and for special occasions which means that it chips almost instantly.

Overall I really like Sally Hansen's Color Foil's "Titanium Flush."  The idea of a colored foil polish is quite fun and is great for special occasions!  I will definitely wear this polish again soon!

OPI "Strawberry Margarita"

Hi all!  We're a little more than a week into October and I hope everyone isn't tired of pink nail polish yet!  With a lot of October left the pink nail polish will continue in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's pink nail polish is OPI's "Strawberry Margarita."

"Strawberry Margarita" is a bright pink nail polish that leans toward the redder side of pink polish.  Formula wise "Strawberry Margarita" is pretty good and easy to apply.  After two coats the nail polish was completely opaque and streak free.  As for chipping I was able to wear "Strawberry Margarita" for about five or six days before my nails grew out and there was a gap between the polish and my nail bed.

Overall I am in love with OPI's "Strawberry Margarita!"  Everything about "Strawberry Margarita" is fantastic and I will continue to wear this nail polish again and again!

Sinful Colors "Beautiful Girl"

Hi everyone!  It is still October which means the pink nail polish continues from Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  Today's pink polish is Sinful Colors "Beautiful Girl."

"Beautiful Girl" is a bright coral colored nail polish.  Formula wise "Beautiful Girl" was a bu thick and hard to apply.  After two coats the polish was nearly opaque but did have a fair amount of visible streak marks.  As for chipping I was able to wear "Beautiful Girl" for about two or three days before it started to chip off in huge chunks.

Overall I have mixed feelings about Sinful Colors "Beautiful Girl."  I love the color but the formula is difficult to work with and it chipped so quickly.  I will probably give this nail polish another try and see if it goes on a little easier next time.

Forever 21 "Daiquiri"

Hi everyone!  Today's nail polish is Forever 21's "Daiquiri."  Forever 21 is an inexpensive clothing store found throughout the United States (and other countries) that sells nail polish for about $2 (USD) a bottle.  "Daiquiri" is another pink polish to help bring awareness to Breast Cancer because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

"Daiquiri" is a bright pink creme polish.  Formula wise "Daiquiri" was fair, but it went on in slightly thick goopy layers.  After two coats the nail polish was only partially opaque and there were definitely a lot of streak marks.  As for chipping I'm not sure how long "Daiquiri" would last because it looked terrible on my nails and I didn't want to wear it out of the house.

Overall Forever 21's "Daiquiri" is not a very good nail polish, but considering it cost me about $2 so I can't be too mad at it.  But the goopy formula made it very difficult to apply and made it look not very pretty.  I probably won't be trying this polish again any time soon!

"Candyfloss Cutie" is a gorgeous baby pink micro-glitter polish.  Formula wise "Candyfloss Cutie" is fantastic and it was nice and easy to apply.  After two coats the nail polish was completely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping "Candyfloss Cutie" lasted about five full days before there were some visible tip chips, which is fantastic.

Overall I am really happy with Rimmel London's "Candyfloss Cutie."  Everything about this nail polish is great and I plan on wearing it many more times!

Breast Cancer Awareness Nail Art!

Hi everyone and happy October!  October means that it is officially Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in turn that means it is going to be nothing but pink nail polish until November.  Pink is of course Breast Cancer's color and Breast Cancer Awareness is a special cause to me because both my Mother and Aunt are survivors.

So I picked a super simple nail art for Breast Cancer Awareness Month because I wanted the nail art to be easy to change to support other cancers or causes.  With that in mind I picked a bright gold micro-glitter nail polish by butter LONDON called "West End Wonderland" as the base.  I just love how sparkly and fun "West End Wonderland" is and the gold color makes it easy to match with most other colors.  For the pink symbol I used OPI's "Strawberry Margarita" because it is a classic hot pink.  To create the symbol I used a dotting tool.

Overall I love how simple and easy this nail art was, but at the same time it looks great and can be adapted for many other cancers and causes!

Also I hope you like pink nail polish because to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness I will only be showing off pink nail polishes throughout the month of October.
