Bonita "Too Cute To Spook"

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is looking forward to Halloween tomorrow!  I am always fan of a holiday that lets me eat candy!  But with the end of October it also means this is the last pink nail polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.  Today's pink polish is Bonita's "Too Cute To Spook."

"Too Cute To Spook" is a pretty berry color nail polish with some gorgeous silver shimmer.  Formula wise this nail polish was fantastic and very easy to apply.  After two cost, "Too Cute To Spook" was completely opaque and had no streak marks,  In fact it was such a great nail polish because it was basically opaque after only one coat!  (My favorite kind of polish!)  As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for six full days before there were a few minor chips.

Overall I am super pleased with Bonita's "Too Cute To Spook."  Everything about this nail polish is stellar and it is the perfect polish for Autumn!  I hope everyone has enjoyed all the pink nail polishes this month in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Next month I'll start back with the usual variety of colored polishes.

OPI's "Small+Cute=♥"

Hi everyone!  A few weekends back one of my best friends got married - it was a gorgeous day full of fun.  On her big day I picked out a lovely pastel pink nail polish to go with my wine colored dress.  I will note that this nail polish was professionally done at a nail salon.  (It is also still October so the pink nail polish continues to honor Breast Cancer Awareness.)  So without further ado, today's nail polish is OPI's "Small+Cute=♥."

"Small+Cute=♥" is a fun pastel pink polish that is bright and happy.  For the first time in my life I had my nails done as a gel manicure.  It was an interesting process but I absolutely loved how fast the polish tried.  Formula wise "Small+Cute=♥" was good but after three coats the polish still had some patchy spots.  As for chipping, gel manicures are supposed to last for two weeks and I would say I managed to get mine to last for 10 days.  It wasn't so much that the polish chipped as much as it began to peel off and catch on fabric and my hair.

Overall I am very pleased with OPI's "Small+Cute=♥."  Everything about this nail polish is good and I enjoyed trying out gel nail polish for the first time.  I also enjoyed going to the nail salon, which I reserve as a treat for special occasions.  I do not own this nail polish but I would be willing to buy it and wear it again.

Essie "Groove Is In The Heart"

Hi guys!  I can't believe that October is nearly over!  Where did this month get to?  We still have a few more days left though - and that means more pink nail polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's pink polish is Essie's "Groove Is In The Heart."

"Groove Is In The Heart" is a pretty pastel pink polish that is perfect for Spring.  Formula wise this nail polish was nice and very easy to apply.  After two coats "Groove Is In The Heart" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Groove Is In The Heart" for four days before it started to chip off in small flakes.

Overall I am happy with Essie's "Groove Is In The Heart."  Everything about this nail polish is great and I cannot wait to wear this polish again soon!  I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Raspberry Rave"

Hi everyone!  It's Wednesday so obviously I need to make a Mean Girls reference: "On Wednesday's we wear pink!"  As October draws to a close we only have a few ore pink nail polishes left in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  So without further ado, today's pink polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Raspberry Rave."

"Raspberry Rave" is a bright berry colored nail polish.  The formula of this polish was watery and it caused some struggles when I applied it.  After two coats of polish, "Raspberry Rave" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three full days before there were noticeable tip chips.

Overall I have mixed feelings about Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Raspberry Rave."  I love everything about this nail polish except the watery formula.  The watery formula was quite annoying to deal with but I am willing to use this nail polish again because I love the color.

Orly "Cake Pop"

Hi guys!  October is nearly over and I've worn a lot of awesome bright pink nail polishes so today I decided to tone it down and go with a lighter pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Orly's "Cake Pop."

"Cake Pop" is a gorgeous pastel pink nail polish.  Formula wise this polish was good but leaned slightly to the watery.  However it was still easy to apply as long as you wiped the brush on the edge of the bottle.  After two coats, "Cake Pop" was completely opaque but there were a fair amount of visible streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Cake Pop" for about four days before the polish started to flake off in small chunks.

Overall I have mixed feelings with Orly's "Cake Pop."  I love the color and I was able to wear it for a good amount of time but it was frustrating to have so many visible streak marks.  However I will wear "Cake Pop" again and hopefully with a little patience I can get this polish to have less streak marks.

China Glaze "Pink Voltage"

Hi all and happy Saturday!  As October continues on so does the pink nail polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's pink nail polish is China Glaze's "Pink Voltage" which is part of China Glaze's 2014 Breast Cancer collection.

"Pink Voltage is a bright neon pink nail polish that is perfect for Summertime.  Formula wise this nail polish was on the watery side but with some extreme patience it can be applied without too many drips.  After two coats, "Pink Voltage" was mostly opaque but had several visible streak marks, which I find quite often with neon nail polishes.  In terms of chipping, I was ale to wear "Pink Voltage" for three days before it started to chip off in good size flakes.

Overall I am a bit disappointed by China Glaze's "Pink Voltage."  I love the fun bright pink color but the formula and streak marks made this nail polish difficult the wear.  That being said, I am willing to give this polish another go and maybe next time I'll try this polish out in a nail art because I am almost positive that a watery formula could work well for splatter nails!

Finger Paints "Matisse's Mirage"

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is looking forward to the upcoming weekend - I know I am looking forward to relaxing and taking it easy!  It is still October so that means the pink nail polishes to honor Breast Cancer Awareness.  Today's nail polish is Finger Paints "Matisse's Mirage."

"Matisse's Mirage" is a bright pink nail polish with a hint of shimmer.  Formula wise this polish was slightly watery but still easy enough to apply.  After two coats, "Matisse's Mirage" was completely opaque and had no visible streaks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for three days before there were some noticeable tip chips.

Overall I have mixed feelings about Finger Paints "Matisse's Mirage."  The color is very pretty but the formula and how quickly it chipped was a bit disappointing.  However I am willing to give this polish another go and maybe next time I'll be able to wear this polish for a longer amount of time.

"Boom Boom" is a fun hot pink nail polish.  Formula wise, "Boom Boom" was good and it was very easy to apply.  After two coats the polish was completely opaque and streak free.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Boom Boom" for five days before there were a few minor tip chips.

China Glaze "Better Not Pout"

Hi guys!  Sorry to be gone for a few days but my best friend got married and as a bridesmaid I got busy preparing for her big day!  As October continues so does the pink nail polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  Today's pink nail polish is China Glaze's "Better Not Pout" which is part of the Mini Mixer Set that looks like this:

(Pardon the missing bottle - one of them dried out.)

"Better Not Pout" is a really pretty deep plum colored nail polish.  The formula of this polish is fair and it was slightly watery.  After two coats, "Better Not Pout" was completely opaque and streak free. As for chipping, I was ale to wear this nail polish for three days before there were some noticeable tip chips.

Overall China Glaze's "Better Not Pout" is a decent nail polish.  I do wish the formula was not quite as watery, but I will wear this nail polish again.  However the color is really pretty!

Essie "Bump Up The Pumps"

Hi guys!  I hope everyone has survived the Monday slump!  As it is still October that means another pink nail polish in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Today's pink polish is Essie's "Bump Up The Pumps."

"Bump Up The Pumps" is a hot pink nail polish that would be perfect for Summer!  Formula wise this polish was a bit thick, but it went on my nail well enough.  However the thick formula of "Bump Up The Pumps" meant that it covered my nail completely after only one coat.  (I used two for the pictures though.)  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Bump Up The Pumps" for four days before it started to chip off.

Overall I thought because of the thick formula I was going to have mixed feelings about Essie's "Bump Up The Pumps."  But it turns out that the thick formula made this polish a one-coater and I love a good nail polish that doesn't need more than one coat of polish!  I will definitely be wearing this polish again soon!

Hi guys!  Sorry I missed blogging yesterday!  (Between work and hurricane Matthew I jus ran out of time!)  It's still October which means the blog is continuing to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month by only wearing pink nail polish!  Today's pink polish is OPI's "Koala Bear-y."

"Koala Bear-y" is a pretty deep fuchsia polish that is perfect for Autumn.  The formula of this nail polish is fantastic and went on without any problems.  After two coats, "Koala Bear-y" was entirely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear this polish for a full week before there were some small tip chips.

Overall I am very impressed with OPI's "Koala Bear-y."  Everything from the color to its ability to not chip for a week makes this polish fantastic!  This by far has been one of my favorite nail polishes that I have worn this year and I will be wearing it again very soon!
