China Glaze "Ugly Sweater Party"

Hey guys and happy Sunday!  Who else watched the SpaceX shuttle launch this weekend?  (The space nerd in me was thrilled!)  So without further ado, today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Ugly Sweater Party" a fun mini bottle that I got a few Christmas's back.  Here's how this chunky glitter looks in the bottle:

"Ugly Sweater Party" is a pink and red chunky glitter in a red base.  The formula of this polish was slightly thick and made applying it a little tough.  The glitter did spread fairly evenly across my nails. After two coats "Ugly Sweater Party" was not opaque but after a third coat it looked a lot better.  Here's how the glitter looks up close:

Overall I like China Glaze's "Ugly Sweater Party."  The chunky glitter is fun and funky - it's perfect for a holiday party.  I will probably keep this nail polish in my collection just because the glitter is so happy!

OPI "Plum Me To You"

Hi guys and happy Tuesday!  Despite the sunshine the weather is still unseasonably cold for May, so I pulled out a vampy Winter color.  So without further ado, today's nail polish is OPI's "Plum Me To You."  Look at this pretty in the bottle:

"Plum Me To You" is a lovely vampy dark red nail polish.  The formula of this polish was wonderful and it applied easily to my nails.  After two coats "Plum me To You" was surprisingly not opaque and there were some streak marks.  A third coat did not help with the streaks.  Here's how "Plum Me To You" looks up close:

Overall I have mixed feelings about OPI's "Plum me To You."  The color and formula are fantastic but the streak marks were not.  I think this polish will remain in my collection for a while though because it is such a pretty color.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Ocean Blue"

Hi all and happy Friday!  While I can't be at the beach I decided to pretend with my nails!  Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Ocean Blue."  I've had this polish in my collection for ages and I haven't worn it in ages.  Here's how this pretty looks in the bottle:

"Ocean Blue" is a shimmery turquoise polish.  The formula of "Ocean Blue" was slightly watery, but it applied well in nice thin coats.  It took three coats for the polish to be fully opaque - however even with a top coat I couldn't get "Ocean Blue" to dry!  Here's how it looks up close on my nails:

Overall I am sad about Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Ocean Blue."  I used to love this polish and wear it a lot but over the years I've added other polishes that have taken precedent.  I probably won't be keeping this polish since it no longer dries on my nails.

Ciaté "Starlet"

Hello all and happy Thursday!  We're nearly to the weekend and I am looking forward to relaxing and   sleeping in.  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Ciaté's "Starlet."  Here's how this pretty looks in the bottle:

"Starlet" is a grey iridescent shimmer.  The formula of this polish is good and applied with ease.  After two coats "Starlet" was not quite opaque so I added a third coat.  After the third coat, "Starlet" was fully opaque and had no visible streak marks.  Here's how the iridescent shimmer looks up close:

Overall I have mixed feeling about Ciaté's "Starlet."  The color is pretty and definitely unique to my collection but it isn't a color I can see myself wearing that often.  I'm not sure what I plan to do with this nail polish.

OPI "Rub-A-Pub-Pub"

Hey guys and happy Wednesday!  The weather got a little cool again today so I pulled out a darker polish.  So without further ado, today's nail polish is OPI's "Rub-A-Pub-Pub."  Here's how this Wintery grey looks in the bottle:

"Rub-A-Pub-Pub" is a dark grey polish that was almost black.  The formula of "Rub-A-Pub-Pub" was great and it applied with ease.  After two coats this nail polish was fully opaque and had no visible streak marks.  Here's how this steely grey looks up close:

Overall I am really pleased with OPI's "Rub-A-Pub-Pub."  Absolutely everything about this polish is perfect.  This will be a great polish for Autumn and Winter when the weather gets cooler again!

Maniology "Love Potion"

Hi everyone. and happy Monday!  Today's nail polish is Maniology's "Love Potion" a pretty pink nail stamping polish.  "Love Potion" came in one of Maniology's Mani x Me subscriptions boxes and it is such a great Summer color!  Look at this beauty:

"Love Potion" is a bubblegum pink creme that can be used with stamping plates to create some awesome nail art designs!  The formula of "Love Potion" was perfect.  It applied nicely to my nails without any issue.  After two coats the polish was entirely opaque and had no streak marks.  Look how gorgeous it is up close:

Overall I am really pleased with Maniology's "Love Potion."  This polish looks great on my nails solo and I cannot wait to test it out with several Maniology stamping plates I have!

Color Club "Meet Me At The Rink"

Hey guys and happy Sunday!  It is finally beginning to feel like Summer here in North Carolina and I couldn't resist pulling out a sky blue!  Today's nail polish is Color Club's "Meet Me At The Rink."  This is such a pretty pastel that is perfect for Spring.  Here's how this nail polish looks in the bottle:

"Meet Me At The Rink" is a gorgeous sky blue creme.  The formula of this polish was perfect and applied easily to my nails.  After two coats, "Meet Me At The Rink" was not quite opaque but was streak free.  A third coat of polish solved all the problems though and it looked so pretty on my nails.  Here's an up close look at "Meet Me At The Rink":

Overall I am thrilled with Color Club's "Meet Me At The Rink."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish is perfect and I cannot wait to wear it again soon!

Essie "Tangoed In Love"

Hi everyone and a happy happy Friday!  Even though I'm still at home I am very ready for two days break from the stresses of work!  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Essie's "Tangoed In Love."  Here's how this pretty purple looks in the bottle:

"Tangoed In Love" is a bright neon purple creme.  The formula of this nail polish is perfect and it applied nicely to my nails.  After two coats, "Tangoed In Love" was completely opaque and streak free.  Here's how this Summertime beauty looks up close:

Overall I am thrilled with Essie's "Tangoed In Love."  Absolutely everything about this nail polish is perfect and it will definitely be a go-to for this Summer!  Who else is ready for the sunshine?
