Mani x Me January 2022 Box

Hey guys - here's another surprise post for today!  So without further ado, today's second post is Maniology's Mani x Me for January 2022.  Each box has a unique theme and includes two stamping polishes, two stamping plates as well as a surprise nail art item.  This month's theme is nail art nouveau, which is very fun!  Here are this month's nail polishes:

"Renaissance" and "Baroque"

The first polish is "Renaissance" which is a silver shimmer and the second polish is "Baroque" which is a pretty plum creme.  Both colors are very pretty!  The first stamping plate for January is MXM071 which has all things astrology, which I always enjoy!

The second plate for January 2022 is MXM072 which features all things floral!  I love all these full nail florals there are so many options for designs!  Look at this beauty:

The extra nail art item for this month is golden nail stickers!  They are so pretty and really fit the art nouveau theme!  Look how pretty the stickers are:

Overall I am really pleased with Mani x Me's box for January 2022.  I cannot wait to try out all the floral stamping designs for Springtime!

Ellen Tracy "Hot Pink"

Hello all and happy Tuesday!  I cannot believe May is nearly over!  Today's nail polish is Ellen Tracy's "Hot Pink" which came as four-pack and was a Christmas gift to me.a few years ago.  Here's how it looks in the bottle:

"Hot Pink" is a pretty bubblegum pink creme - which is one of my favorite nail polish colors to wear!  The formula of this nail polish is pretty good and it applied well to my nails.  After two coats "Hot Pink" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  Here's how the beauty looks up close:

Overall I am quite pleased with Ellen Tracy's "Hot Pink."  Everything about this nail polish is lovely and as it is one of my favorite colors I will definitely be wearing this one a lot more!

Ciate "Cutie Pie"

Hello guys and happy Monday!  Here's to a great week!  Today's nail polish is Ciate's "Cutie Pie" which came as part of an annual advent calendar that Ciate does at Christmas.  Here's how "Cutie Pie" looks in the bottle:

"Cutie Pie" is a ver pretty pastel pink creme that would be best used for French nails.  The formula of this nail polish was great and it applied nicely to my nails.  "Cutie Pie" is a very sheer polish, however it can be built up some.  I applied three coats of polish for the photos and you can clearly see the color.  Look how lovely this simple sheer is up close:

Overall I am quite pleased with Ciate's "Cutie Pie."  While this isn't a go to every day color it is still very pretty and gets used greatly in my collection.

Mani x Me November 2021 Box

Hi all - here's a surprise extra post today!  Today's throwback post is Maniology's Mani x Me box from November 2021.  Each box has a different theme and features two stamping nail polishes, two stamping plates and a surprise nail art item.  November 2021's theme was tropical Christmas/Mele Kalikimaka.  Mele Kalikimaka means Merry Christmas is Hawaii.  Here are this month's nail polishes:

"Tutu Mele" and "Shaka Santa"

November's nail polishes fit perfectly with the Christmas theme as they are a green and red shimmer.  "Tutu Mele" is the perfect Christmas tree green while "Shaka Santa" if the red shimmer of dreams!  I cannot wait to use these two nail polishes very very soon!  The first stamping plate for this month is MXM067 which has lots of tropical Christmas designs - which I love!

The second plate for November 2021 is MXM068 which has even more tropical themed Christmas designs - that are perfect for a Florida Christmas as well!  (Which is where I spend Christmas so I know exactly what my nails will look like this Christmas!). Look at how adorable it is:

The surprise extra item for this month is a green powder called "Sparkling Palms."  I am very new to using the powders so I am excited to try it but not sure how to best use it - yet!

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails "Unbreakable Heart"

Hello all and happy Thursday!  Anyone else ready for the long holiday weekend?  Today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Hard As Nails "Unbreakable Heart."  Here's how this polish looks in the bottle:

"Unbreakable Heart" is a gorgeous burgundy nail polish with a golden shimmer.  The formula of this nail polish is watery and despite wiping the excess polish off the brush I still struggled some to apply.  After two coats, "Unbreakable Heart" was fully opaque and had no visible streak marks.  Look at this pretty shimmer up close:

Overall Sally Hansen Hard As Nails "Unbreakable Heart" is a pretty good nail polish.  My only real complaint was the formula everything else is perfect.  I plan to give this burgundy beauty another go before I make a final decision on whether to love this nail polish of not.

"Living in the Elmo-ment" is a gorgeous red glitter that is meant to remind you of everyone's favorite Sesame Street character - Elmo!  The formula of this polish is slightly thick but it applied so well to my nails!  The coverage was so good that you can probably get away with wearing only a single coat - though I applied two on my nails.  Look at this glitter up close:

October's stamping nail polishes are "Pistachio" and "Chestnut" both of which are perfect Autumn colors. "Pistachio" is a chartreuse creme that is unlike any other color in my collection which "Chestnut" is a dark brown with a golden shimmer.  The first stamping plate from this month's box is MXM065.  This plate has tons of cute Autumnal designs and scarecrows.  It's really cute!

Ciate "Meet Me In Mayfair"

Hi guys and happy Sunday!  Today's nail polish is Ciate's "Meet Me In Mayfair" which was part of one of their annual advent calendars from several years back.  Here's how this glitter looks in the bottle:

"Meet Me In Mayfair" is a black and gold bar glitter in a clear base.  The formula of this nail polish was pretty thick but the glitter was easy enough to manipulate over my nails.  Here's how "Meet Me In Mayfair" looks up close:

As with many glitters they make a great topper over opaque polishes and "Meet Me In Mayfair" is no different!  So I decided to try "Meet Me In Mayfair" over Maniology's "Green House."  This combination turned out okay but it didn't show the black bar glitter very well.  Here's how the combo turned out:

Overall I like Ciate's "Meet Me In Mayfair."  I am not a huge bar glitter fan but the mixture of gold and black bar glitter is very pretty.  More than likely this polish will stay in my collection but will only be pulled out for special occasions.

If you want to know more about Maniology "Green House" check out my post from earlier this year!
