China Glaze "Queen B"

Hi everyone!  Now that September is here I had hoped the boiling hot weather might begin to change into nice Autumn weather.  So even though that hasn't happened I have still decided to try out some more Autumn-ish nail polish!  This week I picked out China Glaze's "Queen B" which is a nice fall color.

"Queen B" is a gorgeous deep blue with just a hint of purple.  (I am seriously in love with this color!)  Formula wise "Queen B" is fantastic!  This polish went on very easily and can definitely be worn as a one-coater, however I applied two because that is just what I usually do.  After two coats "Queen B" had no visible streak marks but a couple of my nails did have tiny bubbles.  In terms of chipping "Queen B" lasted about three days before the tip chips became very visible.  The chips were very noticeable probably because the nail polish is a dark color.   Also since "Queen B" is a very dark color I was concerned that it might stain my nails and the most part I need not have worried.  There was some very minor staining on the tips of my nails but it wasn't too noticeable.

Overall I have mixed feelings about China Glaze's "Queen B."  The color is gorgeous, the formula is perfect, and it applied easily and can be worn as a one-coater.  However I wish I could have worn "Queen B" for longer than three days before the chipping got so terrible and I wasn't a fan of the minor amounts of staining that "Queen B" left on my nails.  It's pretty much an even split on how I feel about China Glaze's "Queen B" but I love the color so much I will probably be wearing it again soon!

Thanks for reading my blog!  :)
