Wet N' Wild "Matte Topcoat"

Hi all!  I can't believe that July is almost over!  This year is literally just flying by!  Today's nail polish is actually a top coat!  (Yay!)  It's actually a matte topcoat by Wet N' Wild which I decided to test out over several other polishes!

But before we get to how the top coat does over other nail polish, let's talk about Wet N' Wild's matte top coat itself.  This matte top coat is relatively inexpensive and I wasn't sure how well it would work, but it surprised me and it turned all three of the polishes bellow into a gorgeous matte finish! However when you first apply the matte coat it look shiny for around a minute before it begins to dry matte.

The first polish I decided to test out is Essie's "Pret-A-Surfer" a fun blue nail polish.  This polish looked nice as a matte.  It had an almost velvet look, which I liked a lot.  This is a combination I would be willing to wear again!

If you want to know more about Essie's "Pret-A-Surfer" be sure to check out my post from earlier this year!

The second polish I decided to try out is China Glaze's "Treble Maker" which is a gorgeous kelly green nail polish.  "Treble Maker" reminded me of Nickelodeon slime and was great for my 90's childhood heart!

If you want to know more about China Glaze's "Treble Maker" see my post from earlier this week!

The third polish I decided to try with this matte topcoat is Sephora by OPI's "Berry Tale Romance" which is a gorgeous berry/magenta colored polish.  I love how this berry/magenta color looked as a matte, and I can't wait to wear this during Autumn and Winter this year!

If you want to learn more about Sephora by OPI's "Berry Tale Romance" check out my post from earlier this month.

Overall I am very pleased with Wet N' Wild's matte top coat!  It worked really well and I love that it was inexpensive!  (I got mine 4/$1 at a special sale!)

China Glaze "Treble Maker"

Hi guys!  We've almost made it to Friday!  (And I'm very excited for the weekend after a long week!) Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Treble Maker" which was part of China Glaze's Summer 2015 Electric Nights collection.

"Treble Maker" is a gorgeous neon, kelly green nail polish.  The formula of "Treble Maker" was odd -it was slightly watery but at the same time it went on goopy.  After two coats the polish was completely opaque and the only small streak mark was caused by my own clumsiness.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Treble Maker" for three days before it started to chip.

Overall I mostly like China Glaze's "Treble Maker."  The color is gorgeous but the odd formula and how quickly it chipped is a bit of a letdown.  However I will probably give "Treble Maker" a second chance and see how it goes.

Ciaté "Espadrilles"

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!  (We survived Monday, hooray!)  Today's nail polish is Ciaté "Espadrilles" which is  part of Ciaté's Advent Calendar from 2014. Ciaté puts out their Advent Calendar annually around Thanksgiving (in November if you aren't from the United States).  The set looks like this:

"Espadrilles" is a lovely ruby red with a golden shimmer.  Formula wise "Espadrilles" was nice and very easy to apply.  After two coats the polish was completely opaque and streak free!  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Espadrilles" for six days before my nails grew out and left a gap between my nail beds and the polish.

Overall I am very happy with Ciaté "Espadrilles."  Everything about this nail polish is lovely from the color to the formula to how long I was able to wear this nail polish.  You'll definitely see me wearing this nail polish again soon!

OPI "Cosmo With A Twist"

Hi all!  I hope everyone has had a nice weekend!  I enjoyed a relaxing weekend at home with my family and I am not looking forward to the weekend being over!  So for today I'll just stick with OPI's "Cosmo With A Twist" to cool off with!

"Cosmo With A Twist" is a gorgeous navy blue nail polish with a purple shimmer.  It is dark and very pretty nail polish!  Formula wise this polish is fantastic and it was very easy to apply.  With its dark color "Cosmo With A Twist" was completely opaque after only one coat of polish.  However for the picture I used two coats so you could really see the purple shimmer.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for five full days before there were a few minor tip chips.

Overall, I am very pleased with OPI's "Cosmo With A Twist."  Everything about this nail polish is fantastic and I will be wearing it a lot more often!

Urban Outfitters "Gotta Have It"

Hi everyone and happy Friday!  It's the weekend again and I am looking forward to relaxing at the pool and enjoying the sunshine!  Since it is Summer I decided to pull out another bright neon polish! So without further ado, today's nail polish is Urban Outfitter's "Gotta Have It."  Urban Outfitters is an expensive clothing store where I usually just window shop, however their nail polish is pretty affordable costing around $5 (USD) a bottle.

"Gotta Have It" is an extremely bright, neon, lime green nail polish.  Formula wise this polish was watery, but with a little patience it was still fairly easy to apply.  After two coats "Gotta Have It" was completely opaque and only had a few minor streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this polish for about four days before there were some small tip chips.

Overall I am pleased with Urban Outfitter's "Gotta Have It."  My only complaint about this nail polish is that it was slightly watery, but everything else was so great that I will definitely wear "Gotta Have It" again soon!

Essie "Stones N' Roses"

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is having a great week so far!  It's Wednesday, so to quote Mean Girls "on Wednesday's we wear pink!"  So without further ado, today's pink nail polish is Essie's "Stones N' Roses."

"Stones N' Roses" is a gorgeous light coral pink polish.  Formula wise, this nail polish is a bit watery and it took a little patience to apply.  After two coats, "Stones N' Roses" was completely opaque and had no visible streak marks.  As for chipping, I was able to wear this nail polish for about three days before there were some tip chips.

Overall I have mixed feelings about "Stones N' Roses."  I love the color but the watery formula was a bit tiresome and it would have been nice to wear "Stones N' Roses" for more than three days.  However despite all of this I am willing to give this nail polish another go!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Babe Blue"

Ho guys!  Even though it is Monday and the work week has started again, today's nail polish dreams of the perfect Summertime Saturday.  (So we can all pretend we aren't at our desks right now!)  So without further ado, today's nail polish is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Babe Blue."

"Babe Blue" is a gorgeous Carolina blue (known to the rest of the world outside of North Carolina as sky blue).  The color is gorgeous and looks perfect with a sunkissed tan.  Formula wise this nail polish was great and very easy to apply.  After two coats "Babe Blue" was almost opaque but there were a few noticeable streak marks.  In terms of chipping, I was able to wear "Babe Blue" for four full days before there were some minor tip chips.

Overall I am pleased with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's "Babe Blue."  I love the color of this nail polish and it looked great on my nails!  I definitely plan on wearing "Babe Blue" again soon!
