China Glaze "Grass Is Lime Greener"

Hello all and happy happy Wednesday!  I am so excited for this weekend because I am going to the Appalachian mountains.  Today's nail polish is China Glaze's "Grass Is Lime Greener."

"Grass Is Lime Greener" is a neon lime green polish that is perfect for Summer!  Formula wise this polish was an odd mix of watery but difficult to apply.  I found that if I wiped the excess polish off then the brush would not glide along my nail in a nice even stroke.  But if I left all the polish on the brush then the polish spilled over my cuticle line.  (Which you can see in the picture above.)  After two coats, "Grass Is Lime Greener" was mostly opaque but had a ton of visible streak marks.  In fact it looked so terrible after only two coats (above picture) that I went back and applied a third coat (picture below) to see if it looked better.  As for chipping, I was able to wear "Grass Is Lime Greener" for about two or three days before it began to chip off.

Overall I have mixed feelings about China Glaze's "Grass Is Lime Greener."  I adore the color of the polish and that was why I originally purchased this polish for that reason.  However the weird formula and the need for a third coat was slightly annoying.  That being said I will probably wear this nail polish again because I love the color!
